I was in town for the MEQ in March 2024. My daughter's volleyball team needed accommodations for 15. Chrissy and Amy went over and beyond to seat the group together. They navigated a tricky situation and the girls had a great time. A few moms and I enjoyed the bar area and we received great customer service. The restaurant was extremely busy between the tournament and a concert. I enjoyed the Miguel's Queso Dip and Cobb Salad with salmon, both gluten sensitive! This was my third trip to Indianapolis in less than two years and Yard House has been consistently excellent. read more

Yard House gets a 4 stars because it has such a great variety of foods, beers, and wine. I had the Guava Cider and if you're a cider fan like me, listen up - this was the best cider I've ever had! For dinner I ended up just getting the plate of nachos. You can choose from different meats to get on top. Vegetarians - they can substitute the chicken for Impossible Chicken, so you still get that flavor and protein. Our server was slammed and she still did a great job, especially because there were multiple conventions happening in downtown Indy, so everywhere was slammed. On top of it, the bathrooms had a plumbing issue where the bathrooms flooded and the staff handled it so promptly and with grace and patience (at least as far as I could see!) They were absolute troopers in the midst of chaos and they deserve a shoutout for working so hard in the midst of crappy circumstances!!! read more

Stopped before going to the Christmas show, tried the cheesesteak bbq chicken it was delicious, wife had the regular cheesesteak also legit! 2 grandsons shared the bone in ribeye and totally enjoyed. Daughter had the chicken avocado sandwich said it was the best chicken she's ever had! Finished with dessert and everyone enjoyed all of them. Service was excellent as refills always came early. On our way back from a girls trip, we decided to stop in Indianapolis for our longer break to stretch our legs and fill our bellies and all agreed on Yard House as they some of the girls had been to another location in the Chicago suburbs (and it turns out they're vegan/vegetarian friendly too). I was pleasantly surprised considering I had never actually been to Indianapolis before. The Yard House is in a cute area with $3 parking in a garage across the street. We had no wait, and the restaurant was relatively dead for 4:50 on a Sunday, but I'm not sure of what the norm is in Indianapolis considering we had to fight 2 hour wait times the entire time we were in Nashville. Our waiter, although quiet, was very friendly and attentive and helped make our dining experience more pleasurable. Expecting to only be able to consume a garden salad because I assumed there would only be bar food here, I was extremely excited to see that there was an entire section dedicated to my plant based BFF Gardein, and even more thrilled upon reviewing the menu that the majority of their Gardein options could easily be made vegan by holding the cheese and mayo! I ordered the Gardein chicken sandwich without the dairy, and the other girls ordered the Memphis chicken sandwich( she said it wasn't that spicy), two different fish tacos (she loved them) and the blackened chicken salad (for a woman who isn't that into chicken, she ate the entire salad, so I'd assume it was good). Can't say I'll ever pop in here again, as I highly doubt I'll ever be in Indianapolis again, but if I do wind up in the area once more, I now know that I have a little veggie haven waiting for me. We were in town for a sporting event and staying in a nearby hotel, so we visited twice during a long weekend. Our first visit was terrific and we enjoyed the varied menu, good cocktails, and prompt service. Our second visit was very different. We arrived and told the host that our time was limited, and we were assured that we'd be accommodated quickly. We waited ... and waited. No one approached the table or was even close enough to flag down, and it was not an especially busy evening. After 20 minutes, we left. My Husband and I decided to head out for a date night this past Sunday for the Holiday weekend. We stayed at the Omni Severin Hotel, read my other reviews to hear how that went. We looked high and low for vegan options and even though Yard House is usually our last choice being, there were so many in San Diego + we like to mix it up, we decided what the heck! Upon entry the place was packed. There were several high number parties and almost walked out however, the host asked if we were 21 and if we were interested in the bar. Of course, we replied and were immediately sat at out table. Our bartender was Chris and was friendly and respectful about date night and let us have our time without interruption. He recommended the vegan wing bites, they were crunchy and yummy. Also, the wing sauce wasn't too spicy. We had a blast. This place was awesome. Cool lighting inside, very spacious. Our waiter was super friendly. And the food was delicious. We ordered the truffle fries - the seasoning was on-spot. And we both got the gardein chicken (fake chicken) fried rice - soooo good! For drinks, I got the Malibu Martini - very peachy and good - and the watermelon margarita - also fruity and tasty. The only food not as amazing as what we ate was the brownie with vanilla ice cream - it was only okay. But this place is great! I definitely would go back. read more

This was my second time at a Yard House, the first time was in LA a few years ago. We don't have them in Michigan so I wanted to try them out again while in town for comic con. It was happy hour so we ordered four different appetizers and it was so much food! Chicken lettuce wraps, Korean boneless wings, chicken nachos, and moo shu egg rolls. My favorite of the four was the egg rolls. The wings ended up being super spicy but our waitress took pity on my palate and let us get the Firecracker egg rolls instead, which only had a dash of spice. The nachos and lettuce wraps were okay, the wraps come with a few different sauces. The HH deals are great, most appetizers are half off. I'd go back again just for that. read more

Really nice staff. We went here after a Colts Game and they absolutely nailed it. Server was super nice and attentive. Food was a really good and everything was brought out fresh. It would have been really easy for the kitchen and the wait staff to get overwhelmed and rush sub par food out of the kitchen with a large crowd coming in from the football game but they did a great job maintaining their standards. Came in after dinner before the symphony yesterday to pass some time and had some cocktails. Service was great. Drinks were delicious. Yard House is always one of my go to places for drinks. The Black Orchid and the dragon fruit cosmo are my faves. My sister enjoyed her Paloma. I've come here several times for drinks in the last couple of months and service is always flawless and drinks are always good. Depending on when you come, it can be really quiet or super loud if a game is on and it's crowded. I know it's a sports bar and that is so not my scene, but I still love it anyways. I ended up getting the Nashville chicken sandwich. The only downside I have about my food is that the sandwich was soooo greasy I couldn't even taste the chicken at that point. My boyfriend and I have been saying forever that we wanted to try Yardhouse and we are so happy that we finally did. The wait was about 20 minutes or so. We were seated and our waitress Tala was super friendly. My boyfriend and I were both torn on what to order but she gave both of us some suggestions. I ordered their Baja fish & shrimp tacos with a side of fries. They were wonderful. I would totally order them again. The strawberry lemonade was to die for. I want another one right now! My boyfriend ordered the chicken sandwich and fries. He said the chicken was a little greasy but he still finished most of his food. The atmosphere is perfect for sports fans, large gatherings, families and date night. The have pretty extensive menu, so everyone should be able to find something that they like. On Sat, July 8th we celebrated a birthday with a party of 25. Reservations were made for 4pm, but we needed half of our party there to be seated. It wasn't a long wait, so everyone present after about 5-7mins was seated. Our drink and appetizer orders were taken almost immediately. I ordered strawberry lemonade, but it was too watery. Our server brought another one which was delicious. When our food orders were taken, those who ordered salad had them brought out in a timely manner. Mine was ice cold and crisp as a good salad should be served. Our entrée orders came out almost immediately after the salads. Everything was delicious. What do I love about this place? It's huge, so when you're starving, you'll always get a seat. I came here on a packed evening and only had to wait for five minutes. Our server was very kind and because we were seated by a door, she kept offering to bring us complimentary hot chocolate in case we were chilly. Very kind. The menu is very extensive and you can order anything from tacos to sushi, salads to burgers. There's a food happy hour where you can get half price pizzas as well. I ordered the sushi roll and it was like a giant piece of sushi (crazy big roll). I'm also a big fan of the Cobb Salad. The atmosphere is dark and perfect for watching sports.
