I came here right before a fever game so it was a bit busy because they had their happy hour going on. We ordered appetizers and they all came out pretty fast with how busy it was. The poke nachos were superb- they were my favorite! The sauces on them were amazing and it had plenty of ahi on them. There's street parking downtown and in front of the restaurant if you're lucky. There's also a parking garage across the street. The interior is large enough where you don't feel like you're eating on top of somebody. It's very spacious. The ambiance was definitely buzzing because it was before the game. So if you're coming before an event being hosted downtown I'd suggest coming two hours before the start time of the event. Overall the food is always a 10/10 for me every time I come. Ahi tuna is always a hit with me!

Went in after a fun day at children's museum. Was able to seat us in 10 minutes with a party of 11. Lucked out with 1/2 price appetizers and happy hour drinks. Food was delicious and bill was even better. Service was great. Family friendly and very understanding of kids. Great place and comfortable for all ages.

I was in town for a concert and needed a place to eat that would have good food and drinks and that's exactly what I found at Yard House! The wings were probably some of the best wings that I've had in a while! The lemon pepper was lemon peppering and I would have ate more if I had the room. The fries also came out fresh and were good. I also had a margarita (two of them ) that was pretty and delicious. What also sealed the deal was the server that was friendly and attentive. If I find myself in the area, I would definitely be back. It was the perfect spot to be before our night of concert fun.

    Espresso Martini was delicious!!!

I always can count on you! This is a go to spot all over the US for me. Being downtown Indianapolis I don't get down there much but it was well worth the drive. Yesterday,3/25/26 I decided to grab a cocktail and some food to go from the bar. Jess and Lydia were so sweet and helpful as I couldn't decide on a cocktail too many good choices. I opted for the their Espresso Martini that was fantastic! Happy hour is always a plus here if you can make it. I had one of my favorites while just relaxing at the bar The Poke Nachos! Now if you don't like poke you may or may not enjoy these but if you're like me and enjoy wonderful flavors with a kick try these!!! To go I orders the Garlic Noodles another go to of mine. Hmmmmm so good and the brussels sprouts with these you can't go wrong. Many more items to try here and they do a great job. Shout out to Indy's Yard house you might be my favorite experience so far!

Speedy service. Great waiter and team. He knew we were in a crush for time with a party of 20+. Everything came out fast and hot, as well as flavorful. I didn't hear any complaints about anything messed up regarding orders. Nothing had to be sent back. I had the lobster Garlic Noodles, my wife had the shitake garlic noodles, and my daughter had a bacon cheeseburger and fries. All great! Got to come back for the Nashville hot chicken and pancakes!! Maybe also the brussel sprouts and queso appetizers!

Best meal we had in INDY! Amazing selection of meals from tacos to pizza to noodles and a HUGE selection of beer. Literally the first half of the menu is their beer. I'll definitely be coming back.

I've been to Yard House a couple times and this time the food this time was decent. My coworkers and I went for half priced apps and we ordered a ton of food. No judgement! The food was lukewarm and didn't seem fresh, but the taste was still there. The ambience is still inviting and perfect for big or small groups. Our server was amazing and tentative to our needs. I'd definitely return for the apps with hopes that they will be hot!

Always the best beer in town! Delicious appetizers, extensive menu filled with favorites, lots of tv's, quick and fantastic service! Yard House is great to watch a game at, grab a beer, have happy hour...and stay for lunch or dinner! It's always fun, always delicious and you always leave happy!

Came here for happy hour with my work girls and had a great time! The appetizers did not disappoint - everything we ordered was on point. My only note: the spinach dip could use a little more love. The chip-to-dip ratio is off, and you'll find yourself wanting more dip before the chips are gone. Beyond that, Yard House delivers. It's a great spot for groups - family-friendly, downtown, and clearly focused on making everyone happy. The menu is massive, which means no one gets left out, and there's always something new to try on your next visit. Already looking forward to going back.

Service was good, nothing of note Got the truffle cheese burger medium well which was delicious. I liked the seated bun and enjoyed the truffle flavor with the burger. Sweet potato fries were in large quantity but a little floppy. Would come back again!

Came here for an alumni pre college meeting before they head off to college in the fall, we were seated right away, and our waiter was great! Attentive and accommodating! I enjoyed a spicy melon mocktail, and enjoyed some very tasty tomato soup, with a grilled cheese, that I added avocado to, would definitely visit again! Love the vibe and selection! Check them out if you are in the area!

Yard house came up first when I Googled board games & drinks near me. Website doesn' tmention. Is that a thing there?

I personally don't recall seeing board games. They do have a wide variety of drinks to indulge in from the bar.

    Can my 20-year-old eat here?

    Yes.

Do u have gluten free options?

    There are many wheat-free options!

Would this be a good place for me and my 5 friends to go before prom?

Yeah. I think that is the nice place. I have seen there were many groups coming over for their birthday or other celebrations. I would still suggest call them and check before heading out!

Driving through…read morehere, you see the blight and the abandonment of this area of Indianapolis since the decline of manufacturing. Then again, it's not an uncommon story unfortunately- large parts of the city forgotten in terms of economic development but then suddenly needed during times of campaigning. Had taken Keystone and then Rural Street to get here, and the potholes are not kind. But, we had this place on our list and were determined to make it here at least once. Tlaolli stood out for its vegan offerings. Plenty of vegan taco options, birria (an absolute rarity to see vegan birria), and torta. They offer soy chorizo, jackfruit, and king oyster mushrooms as protein options. The exterior is colorful, and inside there are seating options. We had gotten our food to go, so I cannot comment too much on the service. Had placed our order online, and the food was ready within the estimated time in the order. We ordered the vegan birria tacos ($17.99), the vegan torta ($10.99 base but added soy chorizo, which was $3.99), and the no-no-no taco ($5.99). Our total with fees was approximately $45. Tlaolli offers outdoor seating, so when the weather is nicer this would be a good place to come. Next to the East Washington IPL branch, Tlaolli has a colorful green exterior with neon signage. Food: The food was very good. The proteins were nicely seasoned and juicy. The highlight for me was the birria tacos and the consome. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10. This is a great local business in the area to support: offers a diverse menu of options with food that is comforting and tasty.

We each ordered separately, but they nicely put our order on the same overall table ticket so that it was delivered at roughly the same time. I hadn't been here before, and was excited to try it. You order at the front counter then they bring it to our table. The menu can be a little daunting if you aren't sure what you want. I chose a chicken enchilada bowl, but was then told they were out of cheese. Nothing else was jumping out at me, so I just ordered the avocado toast. (see pics) Our food came fairly quickly. I will say, my coworkers' dishes looked good. I was pretty disappointed with my avocado toast. For $9, it was a sinlgle slice of bread, only very lightly toasted. The jammy egg was maybe 1 hard boiled egg, chopped up on top, and it was cold. It did have shredded cheese over it (not sure why that couldn't have been used in my enchilada bowl?) . It also tased like it had a lot of "everything bagel" spices on it, and was overall fairly salty. So it was a little disappoining. And I left hungry. But I wasn't in the mood to order anything else. My coworkers had sweet potato fries (I tried some - really good!), and different bowls that looked good, so I would give them another try sometime, but the avocado toast did not live up to expectations. #ReviewsByRL

FLAVORFUL RESTAURANT IN A HIP PART OF INDY…read more======================================== My daughter-in-law recommended Bluebeard for dinner on Monday, June 22, 2026. I would have to say this restaurant is my favorite in Indy right now after one meal. Most of the things we shared were amazing and for a complete description please refer to my photo of the menu. We ordered the following: Burrata with Amelia's bread as an appetizer which was delicious. Gem Salad - This was amazing and I could eat it every day of the week. Stacci house made pasta - This was a big hit and I would order this every time. Hanger Steak - My husband, aka the picky eater, loved it. I didn't try it, but everyone seemed to like it. Chicken with a few dumplings - We all loved this. Three desserts to share: a cheesecake with fruit on top, one a bread pudding and a chocolate crisp. I ordered a delicious Monsoon Season cocktail with song cai vietnamese gin, cocchi americano, st. george thai basil eau de vie, elderflower, lemon and basil oil. My son and I also ordered glasses of Port after dinner. The service was great and I loved that they were playing really good rock music like Soundgarden and others. There are lots of antique typewriters above the bar and a cool print of Kurt Vonnegut by the bathrooms. I am looking forward to going again the next time my husband and I are in Indy visiting my son and daughter-in-law unless they move out of state.

Themed around Indy native Kurt Vonnegut, you'll see old typewriters, books, and names of menu items paying tribute to the famous author. The menu feels high class but the atmosphere and wait staff are friendly and welcoming. You could dress up for a special occasion or come in casual every day wear and either fit in just fine. Their ever changing menu featuring local produce and meats is always unique, inventive, and most importantly, delicious. Their cocktail list is one of the best and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had an extensive mocktail list as well. Their sodas and syrups are all house-made which means every drink is full of fresh flavors. I had a lemon pasta dish an my husband ordered the hanger steak. Both were cooked perfectly and composed of flavors and textures that complimented each other perfectly. There's nothing that wouldn't be good on their menu because you can tell the chefs are exceptional as well as the ingredients they choose. I really can't say enough good things about this place, it remains one of my favorite places to enjoy a meal and no matter what I choose, I'm never disappointed.

It's a very small kitchen where all the action happens, which is very impressive for a restaurant their size. Very knowledgeable staff and servers described all the ingredients and notes of flavor to look for in the dishes very well. Most ingredients were locally sourced and staff highlighted the importance of souring fresh local ingredients with every dish. Everyone form the hostess to the bartender and bus boy were friendly and welcoming. definitely 5* for service. The menu is a mix of several cuisines from Korean to Italian and even some French with a twist. The menu has great vegetarian options. Unfortunately the chef's tasting menu wasn't available as my reservation was made same day, but I decided to go with the two specials of the day. Dinner kicked off with a shot of Champaign on the house They like welcoming their guests that way. Water kept being refilled immediately. The staff again was very attentive. As an appetizer I went with the Scallops crudo with house made berry vinegar. The crudo was a healthy serving of scallops. Crispy raw carrots and radish provide some texture, while greens including endive provided some bitterness. This dish was a bit heavy on pepper and bitterness from the endives and could use some acidity to balance it out. Scallops were not as sweet as I was expecting. A bit more of the homemade raspberry vinagrette would have been perfect. The dark blue ring caused by the marination process would have shown more on a different color serving plate instead of a black bowl. For the main course I ordered the Beet linguini with sea bass. Interesting take on linguini Pickled rhubarb, rainbow radishes, fresh dill and a 'beet marinara' sauce reminded me of borscht. Unfortunately the linguini was overcooked and soaked up a lot of the butter and sauce. The pickled rhubarb provided a break from the heaviness of the dish but overall the dish lacked brightness. Sea bass was perfectly cooked. Seared and crusted with salt and pepper on one side, simple. Well executed but nothing special. For dessert I went with the Strawberry dacquoise which was delicious. The white chocolate bark with pink peppercorn stole the show. It should be layered inside the dessert! I wanted more of it. This dessert was not overly sweet. it was a great mix of pistachios and strawberry and fluffy cake. Gelee was a bit too dense but otherwise fantastic end to a good meal.
