We tried the Poke Nachos, Cali roll stack, and Baja shrimp tacos. My friend and I came here around the holidays, and ordered a few small appetizers, and a pizza. The pizza definitely came from a frozen source. Came here for Lunch on a Wednesday around 12 with a group of 4. Start: We were seated almost immediately upon checking in with our group. Always a plus to have. However, when we were seated and ordered our cups of water, it took them forever to serve it. I've never been somewhere where water takes 15-20 minutes to be served. A long wait for 4 cups of water I must say.. Course: They did fix it by checking in on us a lot and refilling our water very quickly. And the food, the food was good and very filling. We got the Poke Salad, KBBQ Cheese Steak Sandwich, a Classic Cheese Burger, and a BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger. Definitely very filling and met our expectations. End: The food was good, the service during the food was good. Only the beginning didn't really feel up to par with the whole service. I hope they can improve on this part as it would definitely improve my view on this establishment. I was able to take 2 pics of the food. Overall great food and service! We went for dinner around 7 PM on a Friday (01/03/25). Our server (Cole?) and manager were amazing and made the experience so memorable - we've been raving about Yard House to all of our friends since. We ordered the chicken nachos, wings, and onion ring tower, and all dishes were 10/10. The onion ring tower came to our table after we had already finished our first two appetizers, and while it was no big deal, the manager and server were extremely apologetic, took the charge for the onion rings off our bill, and offered us complementary dessert. This is definitely the nicest Yard House I've ever been to and we can't wait to eat at this location again. read more

It's New Years and we are starving. After a twenty minute wait, we were sat down in the back away from the noisy bar. My wife says, "It's a sports bar, the food isn't supposed to be good." We waited for thirty minutes and the food came cold. I sent everything back because every dish was cold. The manager came over and, very graciously, promised to remake our food and compensate us for our trouble. She was great. In conclusion: decor is nice, and service is excellent. The problem is in the kitchen. The food came fifteen minutes later. My chicken sandwich was dry, overly cooked a fryer, and tasteless. My wife's chicken sandwich was very dry and bland. Mediocre. Bland. Dry. We had to ask for ketchup and salt and pepper a few times to get them. Why not just leave on the table? It's a fun place to have a beer, but the kitchen needs a revival. read more

They have a very large menu that covers your appetizers, salads, burgers, and tacos to your steaks and seafood entrees. In addition, Yard House offers one of the best HH menus around! If you go for HH I suggest getting the pizzas (mushroom & pepperoni or Margherita), wings, calamari, chicken nachos, fried chicken tenders, spinach dip, and the poke nachos. What I love more than the food, is their LARGE and diverse drink menu! Talk about having a huge selection of beers to choose from. Wheat, sours, ciders, IPA, ales, fruit beers, amber ales, lagers, Belgian, and stouts. They probably have 100 beers to choose from ON TAP! Plus, they have an extensive cocktail and hard alcohol menu for those that prefer something other than beer. They have a large selection of mules, margaritas, sangrias, gin, vodka, bourbon, wine, sake, and more. Overall, Yard House is a great place to go for a date or a large group of people. The Irvine location isn't as busy as some of the other locations that I've been to which is nice. The longest that I've ever had to wait was around 20 minutes or so which is nothing in comparison to the other locations. Always a favorite and it's been too long Yard House! I was hangry when I woke up and needed some good food. So glad we ended up at YH. We were greeted and seated right away and the team was friendly and fast. We had the kids cheese burger and fries...it looked ok nothing amazing. The adult meals were perfect. I ordered the watermelon margarita and two appetizers since I'm so indecisive. The shiitake mushroom garlic noodles and the rice roll which was amazing. Hubs got the salmon entree and he was pleasantly surprised it was so delicious and filling. I am already wanting to go back for more. Love a fun and easy meal that's satisfying. I've been wants garlic noodles for a long time now. And I'm happy to say I got from here . These seafood noodles was amazing , they hit the spot times hundred. Now I'm craving them everyday ugh.. anyway the franchise was great clean and a fun vibe. My waiter was a bite off either he didn't know what he was doing or just completely slow. He kept bringing other people's order to our table asking did we order it. He needs to be retrained. The restroom wasn't up to part. This is essentially 3.5 star pub food. First the truffle fries are awesome. Next the Bavarian pretzel is just so so. The presentation of the pretzel is terrific and giant but the flavor tastes like a baked frozen pretzel. The cheese sauce elevated the taste but the sauce was cold so I'm guessing it sat there for awhile. I also had the pepperoni and mushroom pizza which was decent. Let me start off with saying poke nachos are to die for!! I've had poke nachos at a few other places, but nothing beats the one at yard house. It's literally perfection with the delicious tuna bites on top of the crispy wonton skin chips covered in spicy mayo, cilantro, seaweed, green onions, and sesame oil. I'm drooling just writing this review - please go get it! As for the other items we ordered, the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was not very hot at all and definitely on the drier side. We had a tuna stack and a hamburger and fries and that chicken wraps they were all fresh and delicious. I usually always get the tuna sack so that was a no-brainer. Chicken wraps were tasty surprise and of course the burger is always great. Service was on point is very busy, but it didn't affect our service or our food. We will definitely be back. Wow, how the Yard House has fallen. It started at the host stand with clueless, unsupervised hostess. Then the food was mediocre at best. The pork burger was flavorless, even with everything on it, the onion rings tasted cheap. To top it off, the restroom was disgusting. Paper towels everywhere, piss all over the floor, and it reeked of urine. Seemed like a dirty gas station restroom in the middle of nowhere. We came here on a Saturday afternoon during the NCAA final four games. It was packed and very lively. We waited for 10 minutes for a party of two. I usually get the vampire tacos, but wanted to get something different. From other reviews, I wanted to try the poke nachos so we started with that. They are on the sweeter side but the jalapeños added the perfect touch to it! We also got the Turkey club to share and regretted it. I would get the poke nachos again but try another entree. I thought it would be a good idea to visit Yard House during the pandemic back in May. It seemed very safe, because they were taking reservations only. But I was wrong. Even though the staffs were wearing masks, the customers were not wearing them while going to the restrooms and also when they were not eating. There wasn't enough clearance between tables, in which I think they should space them out more because of the air particles that can travel within a closed area. I understand that they need to survive, but the food came out pretty cold and dry. I also found a buy in my food and I didn't feel like eating it anymore. The meat was cold and overly cooked. Review is for bar service, the food here has always been excellent, the ambiance, nice and until recently the service good. This is where the stars go from what would be 4, to 2. Two nights in a row I went to the bar and was basically ignored after my first beer. The second day I was even incorrectly charged a pizza to my bill, thankfully they removed it. The worst part was that bar tenders were going past me literally looking at my empty glass and not even stoping to ask if I wanted another drink. One night was a Sunday and busy so I could maybe excuse some tardiness. The next was Monday, and no real excuse. There are some great bartenders there, but there's also some that don't have a service mentality. So be prepared for inconsistency. Probably won't be coming back for a long while. read more
