We came here for their happy hour (Monday through Friday 3pm-6pm) which includes half off appetizers, $2 off cocktails, wine, and, beer, and $4 off half yards. They also have a late night happy hour (Sunday through Wednesday 10pm-close) that only includes drink specials. I recommend making reservations for big parties. If you have a smaller party it might be a little wait but you can take your chances at the bar tops. We were fortunately to grab two chairs at the bar right before happy hour ended. We ordered the poke nachos, cheese curds, boneless wings, carnivore pizza, and parm truffle fries. The poke nachos were good with a balance of sweet and spicy. The cheese curds were crispy with good dipping sauces. We got the boneless wings with Korean chili garlic sauce which were good. The carnivore pizza was meaty and filling. The parm truffle fries were just okay. For drinks we got the grapefruit paloma and espresso martini which were decent. It's a good place to hang out with friends and family and you'll often find large groups here. However, when it's super packed it might be hard to flag down servers and bartenders. I love the food and drinks at Yardhouse but this locations service is consistently rough. I usually think that bar service is a lot quicker but it doesn't seem that way. Our bartender making our drinks and taking food order was very nice, but the service was very slow. I'm not sure if this location is understaffed, but it's unfortunate. I've enjoyed coming to Yard House many times over the years and recently discovered their happy hour, which is one of the reasons I chose to visit again. Unfortunately, my experience yesterday was disappointing. We arrived at 5:10 PM, well within happy hour (3-6 PM). Because I had my dog with me, I requested patio seating. At the time, there were only a few occupied tables on the patio and several empty tables that simply needed to be bussed. I waited about 20 minutes before checking with the hostess again, only to be told the tables were waiting to be cleaned and that they were short-staffed. I completely understand staffing challenges, but what was frustrating was that during that time I never saw anyone attempt to clear or reset the patio tables, while guests continued to be seated inside. If staffing was truly the issue, management should have stepped in to help turn tables and support the team. After waiting a total of 27 minutes, we were finally seated. Unfortunately, our server was then given several tables at once and was clearly overwhelmed. This was not the server's fault--he was doing his best under the circumstances. However, because of the delay, we didn't even receive water until after 6:00 PM. My dog, as well as the rest of us, had been waiting quite a while by that point. Our beers arrived several minutes later, after happy hour had already ended. The food and drinks were good, and our server worked hard, but the overall experience was negatively impacted by what appeared to be poor staffing decisions and a lack of management support. A little more attention to table turnover and guest flow could have made a huge difference. read more

The food was absolutely delicious!! We ordered the pepper jack burger and the Korean cheesesteak. Both were 5/5. I do want to start with the service from the start after getting our initial round of drinks was quite slow. Food was dropped off and our server waited 10-15 minutes to ask if we needed anything further (after I got his attention). Then from being finished eating another 20 minutes or so asking if we were looking for some dessert. Since the food was so savory, riding this high we decided to look at the desert menu. I asked to see a menu and after about 15-20 minutes of waiting for the menu I was looking for our waiter to see if he was bringing it, I caught his attention mid glance as he was walking towards our table. He stopped mid tracks to go grab the menu then brought it back, by this point we were a bit bothered it took him that long to grab a menu for us. We had reservations and we were seated promptly. The Yard House is like an upscale sports bar, so it's a bit loud, but we were still able to have conversation. We were greeted in short order by Jess, who was an absolute gem of a server. She gave great advice when we asked, came around just enough, and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. We started off with an app, the blackened ahi sashimi. It was amazing. It was seared on the outside with a black pepper crust but the rest was delicate and tender. The blend of textures was wonderful. My +1 liked it so much she ordered the sandwich, which was more of the same goodness, and garlic truffle fries to go with it. We could eat those forever. I decided to try the Korean BBQ tacos. I was a little skeptical of the fusion, but felt daring. I was glad I took the risk. The beef was perfectly seasoned and the onions and other garnish really brought all the flavors together. I also ordered a side Caesar salad to go with it, which was also good. It also needs to be said, they have an extensive drink menu and we both indulged. I loved the both passion fruit sour I ordered first, and the cherry chocolate stout I had for dessert. When it came to paying our tab, we tried using the tablet on the table. It took the gift card balance, and then the remainder on a card with no problem. I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding an unacceptable experience last night. While dining with my friend, one of the staff members behaved in a very rude and unprofessional manner. While we were still actively talking and had not finished our meal, the staff member threw a used linen napkin directly onto our dish without asking whether we were done or if she could clear the table. This behavior was disrespectful, unhygienic, and completely inappropriate for a full-service restaurant. At no point did the staff member politely ask for permission to remove the dishes. Instead, the action felt careless and dismissive toward us as customers. I believe proper customer service and professionalism are extremely important in the hospitality industry, and this experience left a very negative impression. Had a family get together here. We all had great food. The tuna stack was so good. The onion rings needed to be cooked way longer but other than that, it was all fantastic. One star because the air conditioning was working and the water was wet. My first time back to a Yard House in 10 years... and I was reminded why I don't come here. Food was blah. The appetizer vegetables were wilted and clearly not fresh. The side salad greens looked like they'd seen better days. The burgers were passable but nothing special, which was about the only bright spot of the meal. The service was slow throughout our experience. Our server seemed disinterested and gave the impression they'd rather be anywhere else. We were only checked on once during the entire visit, which left us feeling neglected. The food took over 30 minutes to arrive. When it came time to pay, we were left to figure out the table kiosk system on our own with zero explanation of what the device even was. After finishing eating and waiting for at least 10 minutes with no sever in sight, we touched the screen on the table kiosk as it played ads and figured out on our own this is how we pay. We paid our bill and our party of six left the restaurant without a single acknowledgement by staff including the "hosts" at the front. Overall, this experience was a real letdown. Between the lackluster service and questionable food freshness, I can't recommend this location. read more

Started with fried calamari and poke nachos both tasted great and kids enjoyed their pizza burgers and Korean cheesesteak was good too. Fish tacos were ok wish they did a cabbage slaw instead of lettuce with more of a cilantro sauce. If you want to keep the kids busy they charge $2.99 unlimited games on the kiosk. The waiter (Dallas) was very attentive and asked if everything was okay and don't hesitate to reach out to him if I needed anything. The ambiance was 4/5, it was quite loud and lively as there was a game going on. It's a good spot for a night out. However, for a place that touts such a wide variety of local and global beers, I was surprised they don't offer shandy's. Food was a 3/5. We started strong with the spinach dip, which was absolutely divine, highly recommend it. For mains we ordered the Filet Mignon, Thai Grilled Pork Chip, and the House Cheesesteak. The House Cheesesteak was a major disappointment. The beef had zero flavor. The roll was supposed to have roasted garlic aioli but I tasted none of that. The house fries were very salty to the point I had to use my napkin to brush off the excess salt. The Filet Mignon was actually shocking. The steak was like a pate and was disintegrating when cut. It tasted foul. The manager had a look and agreed it didn't look right and very kindly comped the meal and sent another steak which actually looked and tasted like steak, but was still just okay. We were also offered dessert on the house which was much appreciated, the Creme Brûlée was rich, sweet, and just the right size. The Thai Grilled Porkchop was the only meal that tasted good, the meat was tender and juicy. Service was 4/5. Service was abit slow, it took us awhile to catch an eye to raise concerns about the Filet Mignon. Our server Page was very friendly but just hard to track down. I came on a Friday, and the crowd was a mix of graduates, prom-goers, and everyday visitors. I ordered a plate of enchiladas and tacos without sauce, since the staff couldn't confirm whether the sauces contained added sugar--and I avoid added sugar. Unfortunately, my enchiladas still came with sauce, but I let my fiancé have them because I didn't want to cause a scene or inconvenience the staff. I ate the tacos with some lemon, and they were good! I also really enjoyed the Parmesan fries--they were a standout. Customers Beware!! In big restaurants specially during these holidays, I would recommend that you check your bill even when there are only the two of you. I ordered pad thai dish with only shrimp but was served one with chicken and shrimp so they took it back and got another one after a short delay. When we got the bill on the payment pad at the table which just showed the total amount due this looked a little higher than I expected so I decided to check the detailed receipt and found that I was charged twice for the pad thai dish which they corrected later. The service was wonderful - we got seated immediately, and the waitress was very attentive and asked if everything was okay. That being said, the burger did come out rather dry, and the dressings were on the modest side, which I assume is this location's style of order. My boyfriend's dish came out great with no issues. He really liked it! I tried it, and it was pretty good. The parking situation is a bit of a walk from the mall itself, so be prepared to beat the heat of the day on your way into the mall.
