Went today with a party of ten and was told it would an hour and fifteen wait. I am pregnant and was completely starving so a member of my party asked if we could order an app while we waited and the manager personally said yes and brought me out a plate of the truffle fries which were delicious! That alone won me over! Great service! I had the shrimp rice bowl which was good but nothing special. Get the brownie sundae with caramel ice cream it's so good! Will be back to try more! read more

I had a great time there lots of friendly people etc. Service was great especially for a place that IMO was filled to capacity. I can't wait to go back and have a meal there. I don't know how full this place will be after they open the Kings practically next door. Nice place for a Dardens Restaurant Group franchise. Interior is really upscale for a bar, the beer is beer with over 140 drafts on tap, food average, the nines has way better food for sure. The menu layout looks like someone use a type writer and then put it in lamination, very unpleasing, unorganized, and hard to read. Its like looking for a needle in the haystack. Food overpriced. I love this restaurant! They are often known for their beer-they have a huge beer selection with a lot of variety and imported beer. However, I am most impressed with the food menu. As a vegetarian, it can be hard to find a restaurant that has more than a few veggie options on the menu that aren't your regular salad or pasta dish. Yard House has a whole vegetarian selection of protein-based products that are meat substitutes and are delicious. And you can even substitute the meat in almost any dish on the menu. Their food is flavorful and unique. I've always had great service when I've gone- at the Lynnfield location and the Dedham location. This place is one of my favorite restaurants and I highly recommend it! read more

I was unimpressed. Hair in my tomato soup and the grilled cheese was just cold. Went through about 6 waiters/waitresses and never got silverware till the third. My husband and I had an amazing experience today at the Yard House! Started at 10:55 which is a bit earlier than opening however the hostess was happy to let us in! We had delicious corn beef and cabbage egg rolls a perfect way to start our St. Patrick's Days festivities! I had dinner and cocktails with my friends last evening. The menu is almost too large, so unless you go with what you want to eat in mind you can be over-stimulated making it hard to choose. Two of us had tacos and sangria, our other friend wasn't feeling 100% so she had parmesan mashed potatoes and tomato bisque (she ate it all so it must have been good). The midnight sangria was delicious, not too fruity or sweet, served with the best maraschino cherry, a sad orange slice and a sprig of mint. I can forgive them for the sad orange slice because the cherry was so good. the drinks were so good and the food was taking a bit longer than seemed necessary, we ordered a second-midnight sangria, however, it came without any fruit, it was still drinkable but I think the bartender got a bit lazy. I had the vampire taco, the Al Pastor taco and the grilled Korean beef taco. I ate and liked them in the reverse order. The Korean beef had just the proper amount of heat and the pickled vegetables gave it a fresh kick, so good. The Al Pastor was also tasty but it could have used a bit more fat which pork belly is known for. The vampire tacos shell is grilled in cheese, if you get more than one taco, eat this one first. I thought I would save the best for last but it was room temperature and lifeless by the time I got to it, I could only taste the chorizo and the quacamole, no carnitas, bacon or cumin crema. My other friend had the blackened shrimp tacos and said they had the right amount of kick. She doesn't care for cilantro and found that the cilantro flavor wasn't overwhelming in the guacamole or the pico de gallo. I am allergic to tomatoes so I couldn't have the pico de gallo and I guess the mango/pineapple salsa also must have tomatoes in it because my friend received both with her tacos and I got none. Our server was very nice and capable, I believe her name was Jalen. Consistency needs to be worked on at the Yard House, but if you want a fun night with friends, head on over there. Next time I will try out their extensive beer menu, but that is for a different group of friends. read more

Location is perfect! Lynnfield market is a nice place to walk around after eating a big dinner. Food was good not great. We got the chicken nachos they were good. My friend had the turkey pot pie and the crust was way under done. It was a gummy and chewy consistency but the filling was excellent. I had the lobster garlic pasta it was okay, nothing special. Beer selection is why we went and their house IPA is one of the best I've had. I asked to purchase some but they don't sell it to take home. Service was fine. read more

Six of us were out for a rare meal without kids/grand kids. We went on Saturday evening - not the best idea. Very crowded and noisy. The three beer drinkers were in heaven. Extensive beer list with great variety. I've been in a place with 100 beers on tap that had 1 porter and 2 stouts as tokens for the dark beer lovers - NOT SO HERE!! Food was excellent, too. My wife said her turkey burger was the best ever. My jambalaya was also excellent. $2.95 side salad was huge and not just lettuce with a token under ripe tomato. Desserts were good and big enough to share. Dinner wasn't cheap - $210 with tax for six - but that included 7 excellent beers and two glasses of wine. Will go again, on a weekday afternoon if possible! read more

I thought this restaurant was awesome! Over 100 beers on tap, the food was very good. The atmosphere is very open and very modern with huge flat screens everywhere so it was a great place to watch the Pats game today. Drawbacks? Ehh, not much, it depends on what your idea of a relaxed dinner atmosphere is because It's pretty much a loud very crowded expensive sports bar so I wouldn't suggest a romantic dinner for 2 but it's a fun place for sure. The service was great, we ate at the bar so the bartenders were very informative and knew a lot about the brews . Be careful on the weekends, be prepared for a 2 hour wait seeing it's so new etc. We will be back for sure. read more

Food is always amazing here. They have a nice gardein vegetarian menu and everything I've tried has been delicious. I wish I could give it 5 stars for the food alone but the service is always awful. When it first opened I thought it was because it was new and the servers were inexperienced. Now I feel like there is no excuse. I have never been there and felt like I had an amazing server who was exceptional. Sometimes the servers aren't friendly, don't come back to check on you or take too long to refill a drink or take your order. I don't drink beer so perhaps if I was throwing back a few they would pay more attention. If you can look past the so so service go and get great food!! read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants! Not too casual, doesn't feel too much like your typical chain restaurant, and nice enough to take a group for a birthday or outing. I love that many of their entrees are offered in small and large portions. I have had the Thai Noodle Salad small portion twice and it always lasts me two meals! They obviously are big on drinks here, so those can rack up the bill, but without ordering them, you can get a great meal for a reasonable price. The menu has a wide variety of options, from salads and burgers to seafood and pasta. The service is exceptional and the host will often ask where you want to be seated (inside, outside, high table, booth) if there's different wait times. On a weekend night, expect a good wait, however, the Lynnfield MarketPlace offers a great atmosphere to walk around, grab a cup of coffee and browse some shops while you're waiting. I decided to try The Yard House today because I had heard very good things about it from several people. I sat at the bar and the bartender, Zoila, was more than accommodating. The entire staff was very friendly as was the atmosphere. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries along with a cup of French Onion soup. The soup was great, I wish there was more of it. The burger was cooked to perfection, medium-rare, and the toppings were very fresh. The fries were also crisp and quite tasty. Needless to say, I will be back to see Zoila and the crew sometime in the near future. read more

Beautiful Columbus Day holiday shopping and wanted to have a drink and some apps with my family.. Food is all Sysco frozen food.... Not good. Service is even worse - ordered several apps for the table to share and the server has no concept of putting the order into the kitchen to appropriately have the food arrive over time to actually enjoy rather than having it arrive all at once... Very amateur - servers need some training by management. Happy to spend premium dollars but the experience should be enjoyable! read more

How can you not love a place that has 144 types of draft beer? Based on our servers recommendation I got the Alagash White. Definitely a great beer. I couldn't believe how knowledgable our server was about draft beer. I don't think she was even old enough to drink but she knew way more about beer than I do. My wife had a salad; I had a burger and fries. Both were terrific. Be aware that the place has a long wait on Saturday night and it gets very noisy. Although for me the noise made the place feel like a club. I will definitely go back! read more

Went here for lunch at the bar. Ordered the fish & chips and was really disappointed. As recent as last month I ordered the same dish and got a decent amount of fish, but this time, all I got was 4 tiny pieces. They were literally the size of mozzarella sticks. Not what you expect for $16. My drink sat empty at the bar for 15 minutes as every bar tender walked by me at least once. Used to come here for group lunches often but will probably be finding another spot. The $7 glasses of beer are getting a bit tiring too. That's what you pay at some high class steakhouse, not your basic American pub / restaurant. read more

Its a rarity that I rate places four stars after waiting 40 minutes for a table on a Thursday evening, but I really enjoyed this place. The outdoor seating area is very nice. Tables are a little close together but its so dim and comfy that I didn't notice much. The menu has SO many beer selections that it's overwhelming, but it was fun reading all of the names and trying a random one out. They have a bunch of food too. Yard House is always a good time, until the end of the night and you get the bill. The menu is seemingly endless and so is the beer & cocktail list. The food quality is so/so, not the best, but certainly not the worst. Ive been drawn to the orange chicken the past couple times I have gone. It totally fills me up bc its a shit ton of food but the taste is kinda bland. They have a spicy margarita drink called the el picante and thats good as hell. Try it you wont be disappointed.
