I appreciated that they have vegan options so that my partner can share in pizza with me. I grabbed a 12" half plain and half pepperoni. The crust was good, just missed being able to fold the slice. One of the worst things you can hear about your loved one is that they have been diagnosed with cancer. When that happens, you are on overdrive, you cannot sleep, and you are struggling to keep up with the appointments. So, you decide that you are going to order vegan pizza. You just moved into your home, you are exhausted from everything, and you need one little break. Then you get your order, and there are several things wrong with it. It's shaped like a misshapen burnt triangle, and they use real cheese. Naturally, you call Otto. The first person puts you on hold and transfers you to a girl; you explain what happens. You get put on hold, back to another guy, and you explain again. You are told you would get the correct pizza. Then you run to your neighbor and give them the pizza because you cannot actually eat it, and you hate wasting food. The person calls back and says the manager says they will not give you a replacement. I just wanted a night off. I am stressed, my wife has been getting biopsy after biopsy, and I wanted one night to breathe with her. Our order was ruined, then I was told no. This isn't the first time Otto has messed up our order, either. Last time they gave us a measly $10 gift car that we cannot use on online orders anyways. Seriously, it's been sitting in a drawer. We wanted to give them one the last try. I wish we never did. I lost time and money, and my wife and I got even more stressed out. Do you know what we did for dinner? We ate cereal. read more

Updated: vegan violife cheese makes for amazing pizza!! Good pizza, crust was thin and sauce was sweet. Still looking to find a new pizza place to replace Portland Pie. I am not sure yet that Otto will be the one but I am glad that I gave it a try. We tried the spinach, white bean and garlic. We don't do dairy and it would have probably been 4 stars with some cheese, but 22.47$ with no cheese just wasn't that amazing. The people that work here are nice, that's all I can say good about it. We order 3 pieces and a salad, the pieces got heated up for us and we're basically burned, we sent the worst one back and they wouldn't warm it up until I pushed them too. It came out cold anyway. A bit thin and crackly; overdone in the oven during the reheat, but still delightful on the palate. For $7, you can get a slice (1/4 of a small pizza), a Maine Root craft soda and a cookie - so color this a fast and cheap lunch option with nothing but quality at every turn. Stopped in for a quick lunch while we were in the area, and while it's not your traditional pizza, and has very eclectic and unique menu, I really liked it. Great thin crust pizzas, GF options, and the price is great. I was boring and just got a slice of pepperoni and a slice of margherita, but both were tasty. Not a ton of space at this location to sit down though, but if the weather is friendly, there's a lot of places to fold up that pie and sit outside. I personally deliver their boxes to their headquarters but haven't ever tried their pizza. As a native Mainah, I have a soft spot for Otto (which was originally founded in Portland, ME). I've tried the Lynnfield location a couple of times, and it has generally been up to par with their other locations. The pulled pork and mango pizza is a game-changer (possibly life-changer). On my most recent visit, I tried the carmelized pear, chicken, and fontina - also quite tasty. Even their by-the-slice options and their more basic flavors like cheese and pepperoni are very good. Oh, and their lemonade (which seemed homemade, not sure if it was) was legit - I don't usually grab lemonade with pizza, but it was actually a really nice balance to the pizza here. Otto is not dirt-cheap - a large pizza with a few toppings can run you in the $20 range. But, I think the freshness of the ingredients and overall quality makes it worth the little bit extra money. Seating in the inside is quite limited here (and weirdly positioned... aka the only normal-sized table was practically in front of the bathroom door), but they do have a nice collection of outdoor tables for when the weather is cooperating. Unfortunately the consistency of the large pizzas here leave much to be desired. Have ordered from here many times and aside from one pepperoni pizza that they seem to be able to get right most of the time (80-90% of the pizza is actually decently tasty and edible) the other pizzas have usually been way off in terms of having a cardboard-y burnt texture and with most of the pizza practically unedible. Folks that work here seem nice and the order comes out on time, it's just that the quality of the pizza menu as a whole where you can be sure that the food will come out of the oven in good condition is really lacking, especially for being at a higher price point than other chains. Don't know if this is due to this location only or to the operation as a whole and maybe ordering individual slices are safer than a complete pie. read more

For some reason I had high expectations of a unique pizza experience (I.e flatbread's or reasonable facsimile). What we got was fairly oily, ordinary pizza. What was not ordinary was the air conditioner basting on a rainy day when it was 59 degrees out, really loud machines (ventilation) drowning out the music, and a view of bathroom supplies that are proudly displayed in the front window.
