I love the Yard House Times Square, it is so cool and has a great vibe and a huge space! I went seeking a venue for my team's holiday party, and was not aware that there was a Yard House in Times Square, only a few blocks from my job. I was greeted by Lauren the Sales Manager, and she showed me the spaces that they have, and she was very accommodating to all of our requests, so much so that I thought, this was too good to be true, but she was right, it was all good, and I was able to a tasting of the platters for lunch as I had only tried the wings and the stir fry edamame at one of their other locations. John was my server and he was professional and friendly. The food is delicious, I tried the firecracker shrimp that comes on a little fried rice cake, and the classic burger sliders were tasty, and so was the chicken fingers. Well We are super big fans of the Yard House chain. We visited 15 locations this far. This was our third time at this place. Food: Tuna roll was okay, but calamari's portion was small. I am attaching a second picture of the same items in Boston location where you can see that normally serving portion is larger. Service was terrible. When we came to sit at the bar (10-15 min) later bartender asked us about what we would like to drink? I asked her to clean up the sitting area first. Well she asked me again and again ... ignoring my request. After we were done with the drinks - we waited another 20 minutes until we got another round ... and no, it wasn't too busy ... I was at the point to call a manager. We left without tipping (first time in my adult life and I didn't feel bad). Service has to improve. The worst around I visited was in Norwalk CT, everything was bad there. Here, it is fine, just service has to be better and calamari should be portioned consistently. Thanks read more

After seeing the very creative menu, the prices were very reasonable for the area. The food tasted absolutely incredible and absolutely exceeded expectations. Our server Mike was easily one of the best servers I have EVER had, and even during a very busy night he was immensely attentive, and went very far out of his way to ensure we had a pristine experience at the restaurant. The Nashville hot chicken and sweet potato pancakes were absolutely perfect and a very generous portion. I would absolutely come back to this location and couldn't recommend it more. read more

Warmly greeted and were seated immediately even though it was quite busy. I love when you make a reservation and your table is ready especially in NYC where sometimes it takes forever even with a reservation. Service is excellent. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the drink and food menu. An incredible tap list with a type of beer for everyone. Cocktails are great. The food was perfect. The temps on the steaks correct and the pricing on everything is incredibly reasonable for what you get and compared to the area. Easy walk to the shows and welcome back Broadway. I really want to give them 1000000 stars! They were absolutely amazing, from the moment we walked in. They were all extremely friendly and our waitress and the rest of the staff were so attentive and kind. We ordered two drinks and they took a little bit but not long enough for it to be ridiculous. The manager came over and apologized and said he would be paying for our drinks. Which was so nice! Our food was delicious, and came out pretty fast and it was nice and hot when it came out! Our waitress was constantly checking on us, as well as the other staff when they noticed we needed something. I just tried to order a delivery / found out that Yard House Delivers through Grub Hub via Yelp - I completed and put in my order and the confirmation said "your order will be delivered 6/24/22 @ 11:40am [ today is the 26th] I called in GrubHub that helped me, had to issue me a refund and call the restaurant to ask why they are still receiving orders at this time if it seems that they aren't taking orders on the Grub Hub app at all. 105.00 / have to wait 2-5 business days for my refund - I tried to ask grub hub if they can just transfer the money and the order over to the restaurant instead of issuing me the refund - she stated that she couldn't unfortunately so / she has called the restaurant and brung up the issue to Yard House through her supervisor.... Again - I love this place - I just don't LOVE me having to wait 2-5 business days for my money, and not get my Garlic Lobster Noodles !! !!!! read more

My family ate here and I had them bring a large tortilla soup and lobster noodles to go for me. The soup was a cream base (it might as well have been a New England clam chowder without the clams) with tortilla slices and Mexican spice. Good, but not large (not a bowl's worth) and not even close to a true tortilla soup. The noodles were good and an ample portion, but the dish should not refer to lobster, except in passing. The meat was primarily shrimp and I hate to inform the business, but shrimp does not taste like lobster. It completely overpowers the flavor of the dish. Any lobster there was tough claw meat. I would rather have noodles with only lobster meat and it's wonderful flavor at a higher price. As for my family's dine-in experience, they can write their own review. read more

Stopped in at the Yard House for lunch. We've been to several other locations and thought it would be a great place to stop and take a break. The crowd level was great, we were able to get seated right away. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was great, per usual. It's a chain with a massive menu. Translation, they don't do any single thing particularly well. The food is ok but expensive and the draft list is national. Nothing really stands out about this place other than the fact it's easy to get a seat. If you're in Manhattan and you're eating here you've made a mistake. Great prices for food and the menu is quite extensive so there's always something for someone to eat. I had the pepper jack burger, which was the right amount of spicy. Considering it was a 1/2lb burger, I was definitely full at the end of the meal. For being on Times Square we were able to get in at night still within 10 minutes. Wasn't super impressed with their drinks. I had the recovery and it was okay but lacked in flavor and tried a blue martini and it was awful. We tried the vampire tacos and they were very good with a little spice and some tacos with an asian slaw and they were phenomenal! Greta service and good atmosphere in a prime location. read more

Music amazing, wait staff excellent best I have had in a while , beer taps clean crisp cold great , ambiance Great view amazing of X's square food hot and delicious . Unfortunately my wife got sick from some uncooked or bad temp blackened shrimp she has been sick all day can't even keep jello down threw up the entire meal . I'm fine they only thing was the shrimp I called and a I'm sorry too bad was the answer I get it if everyone called and told them that they'd be out of business . This happened to my boyfriend when visiting yard house mid December. "Entered yard house, looking to meet up with my girlfriend and mom. Not realizing they were not there yet I walked back to the bathroom. Someone was inside and I didn't want to wait so I walked back to the front to call my girlfriend and see if they were close by. The security guard was incredibly aggressive and walked up on me asking me tons of questions and making it seem like I was doing something sketchy. Had a great time celebrating my birthday at this Time Square restaurant. Drinks were pretty cool and my entree of zoodles and shrimps was delicious. Our server was pleasant and efficient. My only complaint is the jedi mind trick our server played concerning 'birthdaay desserts.' She made it seem as though a slice of either chocolate cake or cheese cake would be complimentary. She wanted to know if I were to receive a piece of cake for my birthday which one would it be. I stated that if I was to receive a piece of cake for my birthday I would choose chocolate. She did indeed bring a nice slice of seven layer chocolate cake with a lit birthday candle in the middle. Only when the bill came did I realize that the cost of the cake had been added to the bill. I didn't even want cake. I only accepted it because she led me to believe it was free when it really wasn't. That's okay though. Now that I know the finesse, it will never happen again. read more
