I came here with a coworker for happy hour, and they have some amazing deals ,$2 off drinks and 50% off appetizers. We got the Paradise and Pineapple ciders, which were sweet and delicious, just like I wanted. Our waiter was so kind and even let me sample three beforehand so I could pick the one I liked best. We also shared the mac and cheese, which isn't part of the happy hour special but is definitely big enough to split. It comes with chicken, bacon, Parmesan cheese, and mushrooms, an amazing combination! Staff/Service: Complete failure here with a major lost opportunity for the restaurant. We came in with a group of about 25 people seeking to eat in the area just inside on the left side. We were told they didn't have any servers. Yes, you read that right they didn't have any servers in this area. They made no effort to try and offer some type of alternative and we stood there for a long time waiting. Eventually, being starving and frustrated, we left for another restaurant near by. Only about 4 of our large group stayed behind. Overall: I would not return due to their unwillingness to help us. It is quite shocking that a restaurant would let a group of this size and potentially $700-$1,000 walk out the door. If I were the owner or upper management, I'd definitely would want to speak with the manager here, and ask why they did not move a server to accommodate the group. read more

It was my first time here and the food and service was amazing! Des was the best server and so attentive. She helped us with the entire menu as it was our first time. We decided on chicken nachos and calamari. The calamari was so good and crispy and the sauces were so flavorful. The nachos had so much flavor and since my husband is picky I asked for everything on the side and it was perfect! There is plenty of tables and booths but they do get busy. They also have so many tvs so watching football was so much fun. The happy hour looks amazing so I will be back. This place is our go-to for HH. Even outside of HH yardie has good food, good drinks, good company. Service is pretty good too, and I love that they have small screens (converted from the larger, more bulky ones from prior years) at each table to make ordering and closing out the check much more easier. HH even on a weekday can have pretty long wait times - on a Friday once, it was an hour wait time and we ended up having to go next door instead. Reverse HH is easier to catch Sundays - Wednesdays 10PM to close with no wait. Unfortunately food isn't included in reverse HH but the sweet potato fries at $7.5 dipped in their not-too-sweet syrup hitsssssss, more so than truffle fries which is also our fave at $7.99. During regular HH, poke nachos, frachos, and brussel sprouts are a faveee. Long Beach Teas ($9.49 during HH, $11.49 OG) are refreshing and is prob my go-to. read more

had a little family dinner at Yard House in Northridge the other night and overall had a pretty solid experience. For starters we were served by Jael and she was amazing! Definitely enjoyed having her as a waitress They have happy hour until about 6 PM on the weekdays where they have a lot of appetizers that are half off and deals on drinks as well. Yard House is a type of place where you can go to after work for a quick little happy hour spread, come to enjoy a game and some drinks, I also know that it is near the college down the street so a lot of the students well come here for birthday celebrations. As far as the food it was pretty subpar. My favorite dish was the nachos; I love the portion size of the nachos. It is great if you want to share as an appetizer with your family and it comes out fresh and hot! I was really excited to try the firecracker shrimp and although it was pretty tasty, I've had better so it was hard to not compare to the one that I've had at a different (that's actually in the same area) similar to the firecracker shrimp. I've had better garlic noodles at another restaurant, however, I definitely still think they are worth it to try! I will ask for extra garlic then I think they will be almost perfect! read more

The happy hour at Yard House is the best deal for a quick meal and drinks! Their happy hour runs from Monday to Friday from 3-6pm and consists of select 1/2 priced appetizers and $2-3 off alcoholic drinks. It was my partner and my first time trying their happy hour so we ordered a bunch of items not expecting full size portions but oh boy were we in for a surprise. The happy hour items are full size! We ordered the margherita pizza, fried calamari, blackened ahi sashimi, poke nachos, and the sliders with fries - there was more than enough food for the two of us and leftovers for days! Our favorite items were the fried calamari, poke nachos, and sliders with fries which were juicy, fresh, and cooked to perfection - the blackened ahi sashimi was great, but skippable. It was an amazingly cheap deal, with each appetizer being around $7-8. We definitely will be coming back. Staff was also very friendly and our food came out really fast! We came on a Wednesday night around 5pm and there was no wait - the restaurant was quite crowded though with almost all tables full. By the time we left, there was a line out the door, so definitely get on their website waitlist on Friday nights to avoid the crowd. Parking is also plentiful in the mall parking lot. read more

It was amazing! It was already late at night, and was able to get seated quickly. Our server Thomas D was right on point. We quickly explained that we were hungry. He took our drinks orders. It was served atop a bed of creamy mashed potatoes and accompanied by fresh vegetables, making it a hearty and satisfying meal. The Nashville chicken sandwich was a highlight as well. The chicken was crispy, spicy, and incredibly flavorful, juxtaposed beautifully with cool pickles and a zesty ranch sauce. It came on a soft bun that held everything together wonderfully. My wife couldn't stop raving about how perfectly balanced the flavors were! The service was excellent; our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. First, I'd like to just say this place is very casual if you want to just go for happy hour and have low expectations. It's OK to dine as well, but it can be hit or miss with your waiter, but I have found consistently at this location. The waiter or the waitress has been consistently untrained and provides bad service. Although she brought my birthday dessert, she never said happy birthday or acknowledged me. it was pretty cold however it's not a bad spot for happy hour. The bar is always good service I've never been the type to not tip, I tipped anyway. But she would have gotten more if the service was a bit more warm But I noticed she didn't leave the iPad, or service machine on our table. Which made it harder on her so splitting the check was a hassle cause they charged the wrong cards.! I ordered some type of Ahi poke appetizer, kind of thing but it was so incredibly salty that I couldn't eat more than two bites of it. The chips that came with it, which was only like four chips were flaky, and it was hard to even scoop anything up with it. The drink though was amazing and it got me tipsy right off the bat. Everyone else said that their food was mediocre at best and we were just hungry so we wanted to get something near AMC before we all parted ways. We won't be back to yard house anymore. Even without a reservation, we got a table in about 10 minutes because there was a basketball game on, so the place was a bit busy. They seated us in a large booth meant for 6-8 people, which was great since we were just four. Our server, Sergio, was really helpful and knew a lot about the drinks menu. For appetizers, we ordered chicken nachos and a tower of onion rings. My friends each got burgers with fries, while I chose the 8oz filet mignon. But when my meal came, it was a steak bowl instead. Sergio apologized right away, and I appreciated that. He made sure I got my correct order quickly. My friends ordered about six drinks, but I didn't have any since I was the designated driver. When it was time to pay, they gave us a 25% discount for the mix-up with my meal. We made sure to tip Sergio well for his good service.
