I ordered some type of Ahi poke appetizer, kind of thing but it was so incredibly salty that I couldn't eat more than two bites of it. The chips that came with it, which was only like four chips were flaky, and it was hard to even scoop anything up with it. The drink though was amazing and it got me tipsy right off the bat. Everyone else said that their food was mediocre at best and we were just hungry so we wanted to get something near AMC before we all parted ways. We won't be back to yard house anymore. Even without a reservation, we got a table in about 10 minutes because there was a basketball game on, so the place was a bit busy. They seated us in a large booth meant for 6-8 people, which was great since we were just four. Our server, Sergio, was really helpful and knew a lot about the drinks menu. For appetizers, we ordered chicken nachos and a tower of onion rings. My friends each got burgers with fries, while I chose the 8oz filet mignon. But when my meal came, it was a steak bowl instead. Sergio apologized right away, and I appreciated that. He made sure I got my correct order quickly. My friends ordered about six drinks, but I didn't have any since I was the designated driver. When it was time to pay, they gave us a 25% discount for the mix-up with my meal. We made sure to tip Sergio well for his good service. They accept reservations for large parties which is a plus. They have a fantastic happy hour that starts at 3 and applies no matter where you're seated. Some favorites food choices are: The Chicken Nachos!: These are sooo good, get them as an appetizer to share with the table. The Onion Ring Tower: Perfectly fried and crunchy! Fish Taco: The batter used was excellent and I'm disappointed I only ordered one this last visit. In addition, they have a crazy long beer menu that is bound to impress any beer lover. My mom ordered the fish and chips and those were so good, fish is fresh and crispy, fries are perfectly salty. I would recommend the fish and chips over the Lobster Garlic Pasta. Wonderful experience at Yard House tonight! We had a group of 15 and were comfortably accommodated on the patio. Making the reservation was easy, and customer service over the phone was excellent. We were actually doing a mini gender reveal with friends, and our incredible waiter, Anthony, made it unforgettable. I had originally planned to bring a cake, but when that fell through, I asked if there was anything they could do. Sure enough, Anthony brought out a complimentary dessert and added a candle. At first the candle was clear (which got everyone laughing), and then he placed the blue candle on top--it made for such a special moment. Anthony was truly amazing. This review is specifically about our interaction with the General Manager, not the food or the waitstaff. We were a large party, and one of our guests realized her phone was missing shortly after the plates were cleared. The General Manager was notified right away. She mentioned that the phone had been on the table and suggested it might have been taken out with the dishes. Instead of checking that possibility, the GM quickly dismissed the idea and simply took her name and number. Our entire group searched. Eventually, the guest decided to check the stack of dirty dishes herself -- and she found her phone there. When we informed the GM that the phone was recovered exactly where she said it might be, he did offer a quick apology. However, there was no acknowledgment that her concern had been dismissed, nor any ownership of the oversight. He instead emphasized that in 20 years this had never happened and commented that if she had mentioned the sticky pad on the phone, he would have looked -- even though she had already explained that the phone was on the table when the plates were cleared. What was disappointing wasn't just the initial dismissal, but the lack of meaningful follow-through afterward. Beyond the brief apology, there was no effort to make things right in any way: no acknowledgment of how the situation was handled, no gesture of goodwill, no attempt to reassure the guest. Our party still paid the required 20% gratuity due to our size, but the management response did not reflect the same level of consideration. Mistakes happen, and the phone being taken with dishes could have been an easy, understandable accident. What matters is how management handles it. Taking a customer's concern seriously, apologizing with sincerity, or offering even a small gesture to show accountability would have gone a long way. Instead, the situation felt minimized and somewhat dismissive, which left a negative impression on our group. read more

We paid them a visit for drinks and some bites. The vast selection of beers on tap and the extensive list of cocktails is impressive. We ordered three food items. First, the blackened ahi sashimi. I did not see or taste any blackening, but the dish was good. The ahi melted in your mouth and came presented with pickeled ginger, mini cherry tomatoes and an Asian sauce. Second, the boneless wings in Korean sweet chili sauce. This was mildly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and intensely flavorful. Lastly, the pepperoni pizza, which was prepared well. What killed our evening was the service. The server who took our order was curt, in a hurry, rude and unfriendly.
