Went for a date here and to watch football game. As we arrived everyone who greeted us was very friendly and willing to please and accommodate to the game we wanted to watch. The manager was very nice. After that, everything went downhill. We got greeted by the server after 20 minutes. The server never came back to check on us and thankfully there was a pad to order more food and drinks on and barely worked. We didn't even get water,and even as we ordered drinks on the pad it did not arrive after 20 more minutes. At this time we were eating spicy food and had not water or a drink to help quench our thirst. The server did not care about us at all as I seen her checking up on other tables but forgot about us. Great addition to Norwalk! This place is huge with a great happy hour menu. They have a long list of drinks with many beers on tap. They also have hard seltzer's on tap which are great- the dragon fruit flavor was amazing! The only parking available is the mall parking which you have to pay for. You have to go around the mall to get to the only entrance in front of the restaurant. There is a kiosk on every table that has options to call your server & to order food which comes in handy. It also has games on it to play while you wait for your food. Not sure if I missed it but the games aren't free- didn't realize until I got my bill. The food was good & were pretty big portions. What I did like is how they have vegetarian options clearly listed on the menu. I was able to try the Gardein wings which I loved. The Korean chili garlic flavor for the wings is a must. The onion rings are massive & are paired with with 2 tasty sauces. I wasn't a big fan of the mac & cheese. The real star is the Brookie, it's a big piece with ice cream on top. It's amazing! So happy for this new addition to Norwalk. Service was excellent for a very busy Saturday night. We were seated at the bar within 15 minutes of an estimated hour and twenty minute wait. Bartenders were prompt, friendly, and gave great recommendations for having never been to a Yard House. Food was fantastic. Drinks were delicious. All COVID safety measures were in place. Two stars because the burger was good and the waiter was nice. Ordered several beers, one of our party a corona with lime. It came dead flat and no lime. Ok, not a problem, but the start of an activating meal. Finally flagged down the waiter, he took it away and 20 minutes later brought a fresh one. Still no lime. The wings arrived, middle of the table, no plates for anyone. Asked twice, never arrived. Ate off of napkins. Then the food came out. Was told that they are still making one order of fries and will be right out. Those never came. A steak sandwich was ordered with no sauce, came with sauce. Sent it back. Asked where the other apps were now that the meal arrived. That app finally hit the table when most at the table were done eating the mains. I was about to cancel the sent back food, because everyone else was finished for about 20 minutes already, it arrived. Raw onions and still had sauce. Awful unprofessional I have been there a 100 times with my 3 pound yorkie then all of a sudden your dogs not allowed then your dog is allowed then your dog is not allowed it's embarrassing and unacceptable they never want to open their patio and told I was told by Mary todays no dog policy manager you can't sit outside there's a chance of rain last week sunny and beautiful oooo we are short staffed why have a patio if you don't want to use it so my mom called to make a reservation for five with her dog right after I was told the patio was closed and then told her come on down you can sit on the patio so is this personal hmmmmm so sad my daughter loves the food its mediocre at best read more

I've been here a hand full of times since the opening. "Over 100 beers on tap" I've yet to be there and actually have 100 options. It's always "60" or "73". So let's not get too excited about that aspect. Even though that's there entire appearance. Most beers on tap right? Eh. Sometimes. The food is pretty good. It's majority higher end bar food. Nothing to complain about there.. now you'd think for a bar of this size would be capable of bringing you a few sodas. Wrong. I asked for root beer 3 times. Along with a cokeb3 times. Each time I received 2 diet cokes. Each time I made it clear I received the wrong drinks. Each time I'd receive 2 diet cokes. Which is ashame considering I'm eating a mound of great food. A welcome addition. I was so impressed with how organized they were with curbside pickup and very friendly. My daughter liked the chicken tenders and fries. The adults had the house salad and burger and grilled chicken sandwich. All very good! We will try some other menu items next time. read more

We just gave this place a try and are glad we did. Huge menu with lots of great looking options. And everything we ordered was really good. Firecracker shrimp was delicious with 8 large breaded shrimp served over crispy rice. Four of us shared it. The deconstructed California role was really good as was the Ahi Tuna. Street taco's, Nashville Chicken, orange chicken and Jambalaya were all well prepared with good sized portions. Drink list is large and creative and the execution was good. We were very happy with our experience at Yard House Norwalk. The drinks were good, we had beer and they have over 100 beers on tap so naturally I got a flight of beer to try a few local brews. We had the nachos which was a generous portion loaded with beans, cheese, sour cream and guacamole And the wings. The wings are very crispy and lots of meat. The waitress was so friendly and immediately met our needs when we asked if the "grilled chicken" sandwich could be served fully vegan. We couldn't believe how good the fake chicken sandwich tasted. I thoroughly enjoy coming here. The service is impeccable!! I had Jason as a server and I can tell you I have never had quite a pleasant experience in a loooong while. He was very attentive and kind and knowledgeable about the menu and offered suggestions. There was a slight issue with a small object in my salad but they were able to fix the issue right away and seemed genuinely apologetic about the situation. The chef and manager came out to apologize and seemed very genuine. This is by far my best experience here and will definitely be back with family and friends. Everyone at Yard House is very nice and the food is good, but something about their serving system has to change. I've been there a fair amount of times now and something is always forgotten or messed up or takes way too long. We once ordered a pretzel and literally never received it despite our server following up with the kitchen multiple times. There's been times we've ordered drinks and it was a good 15 minutes before we got them. We ordered burgers recently, both asked for medium, and they both came well done (they even had a wooden stick in them that said "well"). I asked for the sriracha aioli on the side and it was on the burger. My husband ordered the classic cheese burger which wasn't supposed to have bacon on it and yet there was bacon. We also were greeted by 3 people at the same time who literally all were speaking to us at once that neither of us heard one thing anyone was saying lol. I just feel like there is a big disconnect with how they run - one person is the waiter, one person brings the drinks, and one person brings the food, and it doesn't seem to work. We like it there and will continue going, but I think the system and communication needs to change somehow. read more

The staff was extremely attentive the manager checked on us twice and our server Alexis was extremely sweet and attentive I can't say enough about how great she was. However, I went to the Norwalk location and I've never seen or have encountered by the rudest people at your front desk. The first line of your business is always at the front desk and you better give them better training because they are awful! They had such an Attitude and not at all customer focused. I usually come here often, I don't know if they recently changed management or something, but when I came in this past weekend the experience left much to be desired, first half of the things that we ordered were out stock, and that would have been fine if we were told at the start of the meal not 15 minutes after we ordered, we choose this place this time because it was my daughter birthday, and we have picky eaters and there are some particular items in the menu that they loved, which is fine I was informed they didn't have the bread for one of the sandwiches, I asked can if it be done in different bread, the server José was a sweetheart, so he tells me he will check, and a manager will be shortly over she e has to tells us that they don't have a lot of the items, the manager Maddy is awful, and to be honest if you lack the ability to deal with guest with concerns maybe the restaurant is not the place for you to be , " I understand you have a busy restaurant " but you aren't the only busy restaurant in the area not the only restaurant, which you made clear that you don't care, there seem to be a miscommunication between the kitchen and the servers, since I was only told that you are out the bread but your manager brusquely told me it was the meat, to all this when the food comes out, the appetizers comes out at the same time as one of the entrees by itself, we ask if we can get the kids food, it's fine but it took another 20 minutes before we get the rest of our entrees and only after we ask if they were coming, the server seemed embarrassed and overwhelmed. I understand like Maddy said you don't care about the customer return to the restaurant, by the way when the food came out after all this mishaps we were they ran out of once again of other item. It was just a really bad experience, and as regular to your business I would love to said I'll come back, But Maddy had made clear the my return business is not welcome, so I get it, but I really hope they do fix that communication issue.
