I treated her to a nice lunch. We started off with Guacamole and Chips. So good. For my entree I had the Carne Asada Tacos with Beans and Rice. The Tacos were amazing. The steak was so flavorful. Will definitely have it again. So tender. My daughter had a cheese burger. It's one of her favorites. I plan on returning with my husband. The fries were crispy, cheesy, and had just the right amount of truffle flavor. The queso? Absolutely perfect, gooey, smoky, and served with both tortilla chips and soft tortillas (elite move). As a yard house frequent patron I was disappointed with my experience today. I'm not sure if the kiosks are getting in the way of decent customer service but we were only visited my our waitress for her to take our order and drop off a beer. She was nice but not attentive. After our food came out we waited around 5-10 minutes trying to wave down staff just to ask for silverware. I approached a different waiter who was hanging out nearby watching tv and he seemed annoyed that I asked him for silverware. After the support dropped off our food we were never approached again or thanked for our visit. We paid on the kiosk and sat at our table for about another hour and a half watching the game. Not visited again and it wasn't that busy. Fast forward to us leaving to head to the airport right after and myself and my boyfriend both feeling extremely nauseous. We both ended throwing up in the airport restrooms. I am not sure what the issue with the food or service is since I've been going to YH for years and never been sick before. I was so excited to hear that one of my favorite restaurants was finally opening in Tampa, so I had to go as soon as it opened! The first thing I need to say is that the service was INCREDIBLE. Charles was an amazing server and was so attentive and helpful when choosing what to get off the menu. The food was delicious and fresh and the cocktails were to die for. The ambiance of the restaurant itself was also great- with pet friendly (yaaaayyyyy!!!) outdoor seating and plenty of places to sit and enjoy a game, people watch, or just sit to hang out. Yard House is by far one of my favorite places to eat. If you are looking for a cerveza to drink, choose a great beer collection. They also rotate taps for seasonal selections. I recommend signing up to become a Beer VIP and score a free appetizer. I highly suggest ordering their Creme Brule cheesecake for dessert, less than $10, perfect for sharing. Enjoyed some traditional buffalo wings as well, Buffalo and whiskey black pepper are the two flavors I chose for half and half. The chicken wings were very delicious and fulfilling. We were so excited to try this spot when they opened - we loved going To Yard House in CA. Since we were heading to a hockey game (Go Bolts!), we checked in online 45 min before arrival to ensure we would have a seat. Unfortunately, when we checked in at the host stand they informed us that their online check in wasn't working :-( so we had to find a table at the bar - they were super busy so that took 35 min. They have an incredible amount of taps and a vast menu, the food was good, service was so-so. We'll give them another try on a non game night. read more

They sat us near the bar & the kitchen where there was heavy traffics we got sat at around 5:10 put show was at 7:00 we wanted to be done around 6:30. I asked the server if we would be done before then & she said that the kitchen staff were doing a good job at keeping pace. We ordered calamari & an onion ring tower for an appetizer. I got to say as crazy as this place was our server was on it. She made sure our water was filled up, our drinks were always full & check up on us for assurance that our meal was coming. Around 6:15 our actual meal came it as delicious. The place was loud due to madness of everyone around but the staff keep the place clean. We would see buckets of ice come through our pathway & nothing fell on the floor. This Yardhouse location is going to make money. My husband and I have to the Yardhouse before in Orlando and he loved their surf & turf hamburgers but they stop that meal so we stop going. It was nice to go back. Came here with a big group after a community service event. Our server was very helpful and patient with us. She recommended some great plates from the menu. The beer selection is enormous, which pairs well with their burgers. I had the Stacked Turkey Club and had to take some to go since the portion was so big. We arrived with our small dog and were seated in less than 5 minutes. Our servers were friendly, knowledgeable, prompt and attentive. The cocktails were well above average. We were enjoying the atmosphere and conversation when we were approached by the manager who began to apologize profusely for the delay in our meal. We hadn't noticed. This is a great neighborhood sports bar. It is very walkable for many people- it's near our hockey arena, & somewhat downtown. (Near an area called Water Street) There are so many TVs, that you could easily watch your favorite team while having a beer or a cocktail with some elevated bar food. We have been in several times- sat at the bar, at a high top inside, and at a table outside. There's not a bad seat in the house. The servers have always been so great, and you can taste any of the beers- they have so many beers on tap! (Or do a beer flight, order a cocktail, or glass of wine). The atmosphere is great for watching any sports games, or just meeting some friends for a beer/drink. They do a good job with the food also, but I haven't eaten there too many times. Our server was super nice, staff was so attentive I had my purse on the ground and 2 servers picked it up for me asking if I knew it was on the ground. We sat on the covered patio it was great out there. The nachos are advertised everywhere so we figured they would be amazing. I rate the nachos 5/10, the portion is enough for 4 people but the type of cheese used isn't right for the style nachos. Burger was delicious 8/10! would be higher rating but the bread was soggy. Gluten free "bun" pictured but it's just bread, wish that was specified. I did love that they do not charge extra for gluten free bread. My friend loved the shrimp tacos and the lettuce wrap! Ordered a strawberry mule, but there was no ginger beer:/ it was super thick, we think it was just sweet syrup. Our server was great and she brought me a new one, with ginger beer! Yard house is always packed when I come to this location. It is very very busy. We came in just to grab a drink, but the bar was way too accessible. It was hard to get the bartenders attention so we ended up getting food instead and getting a table. The chicken nachos were delicious. They were my favorite thing on the menu. They had the perfect flavor. However, the tuna had like zero flavor to it, and honestly was very bland. The service was mostly good, but it could be hit or miss at this location depending on the day and the night that you go. I have also gone to this location after a Bad Bunny concert and it's hard to get consistent service. That particular location always has concerts and events in the area so it is a hotspot, so be prepared to wait for your food and drinks and service in general. read more

Huge fan of yard house being from Boston so I was very excited to try this new spot on water street. Massive restaurant so the wait was not terrible on a Thursday night. Our server, Johnathan, was beyond amazing -- so friendly, attentive and helped me pick out a cocktail to try. Recommend the lavender drop or the recovery if you're going for something lighter. *minor comment is that the recovery cocktail was served with sugar on one side of the glass. This made such a mess on my hand so I think a sugar rim would be better! The star of the show was definitely their spinach and artichoke dip!!! For entrees, I ordered the poke bowl. Delicious tuna served on arugula but only comment would be to add some rice with the dish. I'm a big fan of Yard House, and my recent visit was another great experience. We went before a Lightning game, and even though there was a wait, we got seated fairly quickly. We grabbed a drink at the bar while waiting, which made the time pass easily. Once we sat, we ordered the cheese curds and tuna nachos for appetizers, both were fantastic! I got the pepper jack burger for my main, and it was very good. Plus, the Lightning won that night, so the energy in the restaurant was awesome. I love Yard House. And this was the worst one I've ever experienced. I felt abandoned and ignored by the bar staff. I eventually grabbed my paper check and went and found a payment kiosk and entered the check number myself and paid. It truly really felt like I was mistaken for someone that has been there before and was disliked. Also, my favorite thing on the menu is the hot chicken and pancakes. The chicken was burned. Like, obviously too brown and it wasn't good. Such a strange experience that left me more confused than angry. Definitely won't come back though. read more
