It was at best average I got the supreme chicken nachos and let's just say the chicken did not have much flavor the chips are all smashed together with very little cheese sour cream was okay but the guacamole; was less than desirable I also tried the chicken wings now those items they were pretty good but we did have to ask for them to be twice fried and I think that's what help with the flavoring as well as ensuring that they were well done. The drinks are a little pricey but I must say I really enjoyed the Miami mojito very tasteful full of flavor and the mint just set it off. Question is will I be back I think I might give them another shot and hopefully they'll be more impressive next time but I did have some great time and some really good laughs being able to reconnect with some old coworkers read more

Drink menu, TONS to choose from almost too many things, I was very impressed they had low calorie drinks so I had citrus crush it was amazing tasted basically like a mojito. Appetizer I had the buffalo bone in wings and truffle fries it was amazing. Entrees fish and chips and regular cheese burger. Cheeseburger was amazing perfectly done to my order and it was just juicy and filling I could only eat half. Fish and chips really good they came with a tarter sauce that had jalapeños which I was impressed with. I love Yard House! I've been to this location multiple times and also other locations in the Phoenix area. But this was the first time I received truly exemplary service... the best service I have had in a long time. Phil took great care of us yesterday. He was well acquainted with the menu, very observant and very sweet. I speculated that he was new to that restaurant which is why he was so upbeat, but he has been there for a year. Thanks Phil for being so awesome! Now for the food. I ordered the strawberry fields martini and kinda hated it because it was too sweet. Should have been tipped off by the sugar rim LOL. The cucumber tonic was absolutely delicious and very refreshing! Basically a gin and tonic infused with cucumber and orange. To start, we got the mooshu egg rolls. Yum! That dipping sauce is to die for. Two big egg rolls will be enough for two people. For my entree, I got the mushroom and gorgonzola burger with a side of garlic fries per Phil's recommendation. Delicious! I just had my leftovers for breakfast hehe. It has arugula, crimini mushrooms, and caramelized onions. The garlic fries were nice and garlicy just the way I like it. Was visiting from out of town and meeting friends. I called ahead when I was on the way and they got me on the wait list. Once we got there they seated us almost immediately. I had the orange chicken. It's well breaded chicken with a Americanized orange sauce with some veggies and rice. It was good and well executed. The club sandwich was $13 and had old lettuce and barely any avocado (pictured). They veggies were not fresh and the turkey was very processed. My pasta dish was $19 and the portion was very small. The food was horrible ;(~ ; the rice was undercooked, the vegetables were obviously not freshly cooked, and the bbq Grilled Korean Barbecue Beef was dry tough, stale, dry and over cooked basically Burnt. I travel a lot for business and come to Tucson often and order take out food often. However by far this was the worst meal I have ever had from a Yard House Restaurant anywhere. The manager obviously does not care about his take out customers, and has no quality control over his take out food. Therefore, I would advise anyone not to order take from this store! read more

I had the Seared Tuna Dinner. The meal was very good. The side were a a bit disappointing. I wish there was a larger portion of rice. It can with about a 1/4 of rice and grill Broccolini (mostly stems). Overall it was good and I would order again with double rice. I also had/tasted the bread pudding. That was not good. The bread pudding was more like moist white cake. Not the constancy or flavor profile I would expect with a bread pudding. I actually sent it back and the waitress had the charge removed. read more

Since last visiting Yard House I have to say that I wasn't as pleased as I was before. It seems that the portions are a bit different in that they are smaller and not as consistent. I ordered the kale Caesar salad with chicken. I've had this salad before and was so pleased with the portion of chicken and toppings. However, this time I was disappointed to see three tiny strips of grilled chicken and not many toppings. Basically it was a small, plain kale salad with 3 ounces of chicken. My mom was not impressed either with her dish. She got tacos and although those were good, her rice was a bit under and lacked flavor. Same with my stepfather who ordered the veggie burger... the overall consensus around the table was just that the food was just ok. The service however was great, Sunshine was very polite and attentive. She checked on us often and always kept a bright and happy smile. read more

I have been to Yard House several times, but never got around to writing a review till now. I compare Yard House to Cheesecake Factory, BJ's, american food places like such which have extensive menus with all types of food items ranging from pastas, burgers, seafood, tacos, etc. Out of all these places, Yard House is definitely my favorite. There are several different menu items that I have tried. Most recently I had the blackened chicken torta sandwich with garlic fries. The sandwich was quite delicious. The chicken is slightly breaded, personally I would prefer grilled. It has multiple flavors incorporated including a chipotle taste combined with avocado creme, giving the chicken a unique taste. The bread is toasted and tasted good. The garlic fries were recommended by our serve, Tommy (shout out to him, absolutely loved the service he provided!). They were not my favorite. I usually stick to truffle fries, those are my favorite. I also tried the tacos, including chipotle chicken, vampire style (which means the taco shell was fried cheese, not a fan!), korean short rib, and the carne asada. My favorite was carne asada, the skirt steak was cooked just right and cut into small pieces. I have also previously tried the Ahi poke appetizer which tastes delicious as well with fish tasting very fresh. The brussel sprouts and potato side dish is quite good as well. The vegetables are crisped just right and served on a cream sauce which enhances the flavor immensely. The place itself is chill, with several different televisions playing various different games. The servers all seem attentive and always have good menu recommendations. Even though Yard House is on the other side of town for me, whenever I am in the neighborhood, make it a point to stop here either for lunch or dinner. read more

When I found out the Yard House was coming to Tucson, I was stoked. I used to frequent this restaurant in San Diego years ago before I moved here and it is still as good as I remember in terms of the menu/drink list. We went this past Saturday night and it was PACKED. We had a 50 minute wait which was fine with me, given Ulta is next door. Love that it is huge, roomy, with outdoor seating. Location is great - but during the holidays you might have to drive around a lot to find parking. The food - our table ordered the Onion Ring tower..they were out of the Queso dip - boo :( and the spinach/artichoke dip - both very good. Between four of us our entrees were - the Filet, Chicken Tinga tacos, Grilled Pastrami sandwich and the Grilled Cheese/Tomato Bisque. ALL of us loved our food, great flavor and hearty portions. I am obsessed with Grilled Cheese and the combo with their bisque was wonderful. I ended up taking half of the sandwich home (although I did chow down on the onion ring tower) The service - hence my three star rating. It was average at best... and that is being nice. While our server was very sweet she was not great. She barely came around after bringing us our first drinks and taking our order. Someone else brought the food, which was fine... but we were there two hours and I never once had my water glass filled. My husband had to ask her three times for iced tea. When I say she barely came around - in two hours time, she came to our table three times... twice at the end. Perhaps they need to figure out their service issue OR we just hit on a bad night since I do see many others have had great experiences. Will definitely go back. read more

I've been to this place a couple of times. Decided to come here on Halloween night. I ordered truffle fries with garlic aioli. The fries were crispy and delicious but portion size smaller than it used to be. I ordered the Mediterranean salmon that came with kale, golden raisins, quinoa, and cauliflower. The salmon was crispy and well seasoned. It came with a dipping sauce that was tangy and great with the salmon. The kale/quinoa combo was fantastic and my favorite part of the dish. The textures were there and the golden raisins added the sweetness to it. Fantastic and will be coming back for this dish next time. My SO ordered the ribeye medium rare and it came with grilled broccoli and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were creamy and delicious, and the broccoli had grilled marks and I could taste the grill (awesome!). The problem we had was with an undercooked ribeye plus a waitress that did not stop by our table for us to tell her that. I waited 20 minutes and decided to find an employee in the front to ask for help. She brought over a man that was presumably the manager and we explained that the ribeye was purple/really undercooked. He looked at it and agreed so sent it back to the kitchen and apologized. I finished my meal and had to wait another 25 minutes for my SO to get the newly cooked ribeye and finish his food. A bit disappointed at the service taking so long, but I loved my dish. The newly cooked ribeye came back overcooked but I guess it's better than eating a purple steak. Don't come here for a steak, but come here for the burgers, fries, and mediterranean salmon. However, it looks like they removed the ribeye steak from our check so I'm glad I didn't have to pay for that. read more

The food here is okay, but the service is pretty lacking. It can get loud, also, depending on when you're here. We used to come here regularly for their late night happy hour. One night we were celebrating a special occasion, and apparently they had JUST changed their happy hour menu. Sadly, the one thing that I had specifically come to eat was no longer on their happy hour. We had had this server quite a few times already, so she knew us fairly well. She said since it had just changed without our knowing and it was a special occasion, she would honor the previous happy hour price for what I wanted to order. Well, that turned out to be a lie. I understand you want to earn business and upsell as much as you can, but I really can't stand when someone in service lies to customers. I always have the best time at the yard house. Depending on what you get the prices can be kind of steep, salads can come out to 17-20 dollars. But their happy hour is superb and the atmosphere easily makes this one of my favorite places to go. And the food was great. We shared some calamari, and I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken with Sweet Potato pancakes. It was very good. The Mrs. and I went on a lunch date the other day and randomly decided we'd give Yard House a try. I had been there countless times before and always enjoyed myself, but this was her first time so I was hoping it'd be extra great. The server was super friendly and patient with me as I took a little too long ordering my drink. When the food came out, it looked incredible. I ordered the bbq bacon burger and when I took that first bite... I came away disappointed. My bacon was delicious and the bbq sauce great, but the patty itself was pretty darn charred. The majority of my burger was this way, so I ended up taking half home with me only to end up eating the toppings and tossing the patty. The Mrs. ordered the black truffle burger and to my surprise her patty was ALSO charred and carbony. Honestly great. The fried calamari is probably the best in town & the tarter sauce is phenomenal. The truffle fries were robust.. perhaps too much truffle by themselves, but the server hooked us up with a berry ketchup that cut right through it flawlessly--really delightful.
