Nice place. Spacious. Clean. High ceilings. Nice bartender. Not too loud, however came at 1:30pm on a Monday with my fiance. They have over a hundred craft beers on tap. They also have some interesting mules and cocktails. Big menu of food and dessert too. We tried the poke nachos. AMAZING. So much raw tuna. Really fresh. Where do I start? I've been coming to yard house for years and the food never disappoints! The menu is large and includes a variety of food! I truly enjoy the full vegetarian menu that features "gardein" products which are always yummy. This is the first time I've been back since the start of covid and I honestly didn't think the wait time would be so long. But it was a nice Sunday afternoon so I guess I should have expected it. Our wait time for a party of 4 was around 30-45 minutes. After we were seated The service was fairly quick. The food was amazing! I did notice that the truffle fries weren't a s good as I remember them, so hopefully when I return they taste better. They give you the option of paying your bill on this machine that's on your table which I thought was pretty neat and we didn't have to try to flag down our waiter. Unfortunately this review is all negative with the exception of giving thanks for Brianna who wasn't even our waitress but was willing to help us. The one good thing about this location is the drinks. I wasn't impressed with the food prior to this 3rd visit. My brother wanted to go for Father's day to give it another chance. He had what I ordered last time, the lobster garlic pasta, which was salty last visit, but not so much this one. He started to exhibit allergic symptoms of a swelling in the tongue. He has never had that reaction to seafood before. I ordered the "Cilantro Lime" Chicken. What a joke..on me. I received a plate of charbroiled chicken on a bed of over cooked quinoa and a sprinkling of cauliflower rice, topped with tomatoes and cilantro for GARNISH and a lime on the side. How can anyone, let alone a restaurant call this cilantro lime chicken. We also had chicken nachos. Good luck finding the chicken. The one good thing about Yard house and that would prompt me to return are the drinks. The black orchid was divine last time I visited, but had the lavender drop this time. improvement could be made so you could actually taste the rosemary. Massive spot in the middle of a shopping center. The inside looks like an applebees on steroids. It can fit a ton of people with both bar seating, booths, and tables. The menu is equally as big. They have everything from poke bowls to burgers. We started with buffalo cauliflower with tahini. The tahini was a little thin for a dipping sauce but Cauliflower was awesome. Perfectly battered and fried. For entrees I went with a poke bowl that was a smorgasbord of a ton of ingredients. Take a look at the pics. The tuna was fresh and the ingredients were too so it worked. I applaud them for having such a big menu and delivering on good food. That is hard to do since I am always scared off by big menus. I used to come to Yard House a lot when they first opened, but then I grew tired of it and took a holiday from the restaurant for a while. While it's not my go-to place, it's geographically in a central spot for my colleagues and I to meet after work for drinks and apps. Yard House is large - an impressive bar with a boatload of beer on tap sits in the center which provides a nice focal point. My favorite part of the atmosphere is the music - it's all mainstream stuff but they have a nice variety of 70s to present which makes it more interesting than your average chain's offering. The menu has a lot of stuff, but I usually come here for drinks and small plates so we stick with apps. Most of their food is good; it's chain food but it's tasty. I don't drink beer much but their cocktails are pretty good, no real complaints (though I'm a light social drinker you can't really go by me). One thing I found weird at Yard House (and this has happened more than once) is that my server will sometimes change mid meal - either my original server ended their shift or was going on a break. I can understand that, but it's still a little strange to me. Yard House is a popular spot - weekends are super packed but it's tamer on weeknights; we've had no problem getting in on Thursday nights with parties of 6 to 10 people. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were awesome, once I told them I don't drink beer they show me their cocktails menu. I was a little undecided but finally tried the Old 43 and I have to say I'm in love. This bourbon drink was so good I wish it came in a bigger glass. I was pretty pleased to have been seated right away as this place is usually pretty busy. For the app, I ordered the Fried Calamari. It had a spicy tomato sauce and a roasted jalapeño tartar dip. This was made really well. It was perfect! For the entree. I ordered the Mac & Cheese. It had chicken, bacon, wild mushrooms, cheddar, parmesan and truffle oil. This, too, was amazing! My BF ordered the Maui Pineapple Chicken. It was marinated, grilled with answert sou pineapple and vegetable fried brown rice. This was really good! (I had a taste!) The service was a bit slow. Like I said, I came when it wasn't busy. So I wasn't sure why the service was so slow. I aske the waitress for water, and waited over a half hour for it. All good, though! Let's talk about Yardhouse okay? First of all, FOOD: AMAZING! Their iced tea is so yummy and strawberry lemonade to die for. I've gone a couple of times now and we always get the onion rings and the boneless wings. I dream of those wings. The nachos are really yummy as well, it's a really big plate. Which was exactly what I did. I ordered the margherita pizza because fuck yeah margherita pizzas! What had come out was a loose interpretation of a "margherita" pizza. I don't care who you are, that was a pizza with a slice of tomato on it! Where is my goddamn tomato sauce? The fried calamari wasn't up to standard either. You had a little ingredients missing, mostly seasoning. It made me think long and hard about that squid's life; that his death wasn't honored by making him palatable. That night, my friend's burger also came out burnt and before giving him his beer, they neglected to tell him IPAs weren't served in halfyards despite him ordering it. At first, I was hesitant but I grew confidence when I realized they have my favorite cider brand which nobody seems to have Ace. I came here for a staff outing and was seated right away. The host was friendly and informative. The waitress was training someone new so we had 2 waitresses attending to us which was great. She told us about the happy hour specials 3-6pm and we took on the deal right away. The drinks were okay for happy hour prices but I will definitely stick with top shelf. The wings are tasty and well seasoned. After, I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and spinach. I was impressed when it was cooked exactly medium. The steak was tender and juicy. I did not even need a steak knife!! Now that's what you call magic! For dessert we had a brownie which was mouth watering...it was soft and just melted in your mouth. I will definitely return here! The only reason I head up to RidgeHill is for YardHouse. I absolutely like it here. The place is clean, comfortable and just make the dinning experience lovely. It doesn't matter how busy the place is, it's so spacious you don't feel on top of the other guests. I've been here at least 4 times and every time I've had great services. Once we were seated in the middle of the dinning room and we asked for a both. The host didn't get upset at all but he moved us to an available booth. Food & drinks: I always start with the coconut shrimp. Then the Mac & cheese half size for my main course. The Mac & cheese is one of their house specials so it's a must try. My drink of choice here is the Hawaiian martini. I wish there was a YardHouse location in the city. There's only two in New York. They really should think about expanding. read more

Yesterday, I went with a friend to Yard House at Ridge Hill. Been there many times, last of which was just prior to the pandemic in 2020. We ordered off the Happy Hour Menu. I have to say that we were really disappointed. It seems that the quality has declined quite a bit. Went to Yard House in Boca a few months back and have the same observation. We ordered two pizzas, the Queso Dip, and the Blackened Ahi Sashimi. All but the Queso Dip were disappointing and the pizzas were particularly bad ... soft/soggy. The beer selection never disappoints and that is one of the definitely highlights in going to Yard House. But work is needed on the food quality. read more

Okay this is the 2nd time I'm trying this chain. It was a better experience food wise not so much service wise. (The first time I ate at the yard house it was at the palisades mall. This is my first time at this location.) We were a large group. 7 adults & 1 baby. We had a short wait 10 min tops and were seated by 5:45pm. Our server came over right away and took our drink orders and the baby's dinner order then gave us time to look over the menu. I ordered her the Mac n Cheese with fruit on the side. (I wish I had asked for the fruit to come out as a dessert or her bc once they brought the food and fruit sure didn't want the Mac n Cheese... She wanted just the fruit.... Irritating.) I shared an appetizer with my grandpa of the Fried Calamari (delicious BUT heads up to anyone who doesn't like spicy food... this was pretty spicy.) Others shared the Nachos (which I tried and liked.) My meal was the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger with Sweet Potato Fries... also delicious. Everyone else that was with me enjoyed their meals as well.... The service however lacked when it came time for desserts. My G'pa ordered a decaf coffee and the cheesecake (he placed his order while the rest of us were still eating, I planned on ordering dessert but since he was done before the rest of us he wanted his dessert asap.) His coffee came out right away. Then he waited. And waited. **sipping his last drip of coffee** The coffee was gone before the cheesecake even came to the table... at least 20 minutes passed before his cheesecake was brought out. He asked for another cup of coffee, and the assistant waiter gave him some more. Now, I was the only one that wanted dessert (besides g'pa who was now done with this dessert) SO, by time I flagged down our waiter it was at least 10+ min after our entire table was cleared off. I ordered the Salted Caramel Butterscotch Pudding. (I've had this one other time so I know how good it is). Wouldn't you know, 20-25 minutes later out comes my dessert. It was just as delicious as I remember but the wait for it was just unacceptable. I'm pretty sure there isn't a pastry chef back there whipping up the desserts... so why did they take so long to come out?! Anyways... An upscale chain pub with delicious food, amazing drinks, and a ton of beers on tap. We've been here many times and the experience is always consistent. We've tasted several of the menu items and we've never had a bad meal. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is fun and relaxing. Great place for a group of friends to meet and hang out. The truffle fries are a must have! Definitely try their martinis and cocktails as well. Also, they have an extensive vegetarian menu...so bring along your non-meat eater friends! Despite the fact that this place is always crowded, we usually get seated fairly quickly.
