It has taken me several months to digest the horror that I saw and to decide how to review. There was a worker sitting in the lobby with a blonde long hair miniature dachshund pinned to the ground by her collar with the worker's foot the whole time I was there. This is humane "training" for a breed susceptible to esophageal collapse and IVDD? Disgusting. You can see in a large window to the right of the lobby with all of the small dogs. Around 20+ dogs in a small concrete room all agitated and barking at once. Many appeared in true distress. One small cot for an elderly dog. A girl went in to scoop poop and did not interact with any dogs. I asked why no interaction and the response was "if you show one small dog attention they will all want attention." Heartbreaking. THIS IS NOT NORMAL OR ACCEPTABLE!!! PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH, TAKE FULL TOURS, ETC. THERE ARE TOO MANY EXCELLENT DAYCARE/BOARDING FACILITIES IN DALLAS. I WENT ON TO TOUR MANY OTHERS AND THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST OF ALL OF THEM. TRULY HORRIFYING; OWNER MICHAEL SULLIVAN AND MANAGER LAURY MCCONNELL SHOULD ACTUALLY BE REPORTED TO THE SPCA. YOUR DOG DESERVES A HUMANE FACILITY!

The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive to my puppy, who thoroughly enjoys her time with the staff and the other dogs! They even celebrate birthdays! I really appreciate that they have the dogs on a regimented schedule instead of confined to one playroom room all day. The dogs have personal time, indoor play, and outdoor play time (each with similar sized dogs). For personal time, each dog has a roomy open-air suite with food/water bowls, a bed, and toys (if you opt to pack them in their daycare bag). For flat-faced breeds like mine, they provide slanted bowls. Although there aren't livestream cameras, the team posts photo dumps to the Facebook group every afternoon (see examples)! Also worth noting, the team is quick to flag any upcoming vaccination needs or behavior changes. They keep a very close eye on the dogs. Lastly, the hours they offer are unmatched. Drop-off opens at 7:30am and pick-up closes at 7:45pm. In summary - The attention to detail that the staff has is exemplary, and their patience and love for dogs fosters a tail-wag inducing environment!

Every experience has been stellar, and she always comes home happy and with a perfect hairstyle. She gets a super short cut, and not once has there ever been a nick, abrasion, illness, or grooming mistake. I also had a doberman that attended daycare regularly, and he would run inside so fast he would practically knock the door down and run them over to get to the play yards! I love the consistency in the friendly staff (no high turnover and the manager has been there since it opened over 10 yrs ago) and how they always know who Madeline is. There is also incredible communication with the clients, and the facility is always spotless and smells nice and clean (which is not an easy feat with a bunch of doggie butts running around!) I highly recommend The Pooch Patio for all your puppy needs!

He always looked horrible for the first couple weeks until it grew back in and got curly and cute again. So once in Dallas, we found pooch patio. They gave him the best haircut he's ever had. They made him so soft and fluffy. They left his hair with a good length still. He's cute immediately after haircut now. Best groomer weve ever used. The other amazing thing is they open at 6am and are open until 8pm. I have to get to work quite early and I can still drop him off before work and pick him up, even after a late day.

I had no other option but to use them this time and today is 2/15/26 i just picked up my chihauhau like i do daily and apparently squeeze his bad leg and he yelped until I put him down. He still cannot stand on his back legs and the 1st time he had surgery at Rutherford Veterinary Hospital he heeled so fast and was able to climb stairs and jump up in 2 months. my dog still suffers from his last surgery 6 months later even though I followed the doctors' instructions to the letter. my dog will never walk the same, run the same or jump again because of them. They over sale you everytime you go in. literally taking advantage of a person worried about man's best friend. just to make a dollar. Not one time in 6 years have we ever walked about of City Vet less than 400 dollars on a regular visit. they did eye surgery on him and the problem has come back. In 2 years I spent thousands of dollars with them and I will never ever ever go back to them again. They better get ready to refund me or I will final a law suit against them. do not ever go here

Their prices are a bit lower than others and I LOVE that they offer Dremel nail service, which is perfect for dogs with long quicks. That confirmed my decision to try this place. It has been a challenge finding anyone who can trim one of my pug's long quicks without hurting him, so I was excited. I dropped the pugs off at 1pm and they were ready around 4:45pm on a Friday (they recently changed grooming services to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays). The pugs were happy upon pickup and continued throughout the evening as well as smelled pleasant. Their nails looked amazing, and no bleeding occurred. The groomer even showed me her Dremel tool and the safety feature on it to protect dogs' nails. It is always a concerning risk to try a new groomer for various reasons, and I'm so glad I chose Pierre's. I also like that I only needed to show updated rabies vaccinations and not additional shots like many places require simply for grooming. The owner Jobbi managed the phones from the first time I called about pricing and services to scheduling to picking up the pugs. He is extremely friendly and conversational; I never felt rushed. Pierre's is in a cute little house right on Lovers Lane with easy access. I highly recommend them for grooming!

Typically he's fine otherwise. Keep in mind this is a dog that was trained extremely well and is actually pretty submissive. I got no calls from Abbie's and he would come back reeking of pee and looking very skinny due to probably not eating, along with several nicks and cuts from other dogs playing too rough and no one stopping it. And yet, each time I was told he was fine and had a great time. But the nail in the coffin for me was when I picked him up and he had a whole chunk of his lip missing and a lot of blood coming from it. I had to immediately take him to the vet to get medication to help with keeping the lip from getting infected. And of course, they wouldn't take responsibility for letting it get this far without intervening and wouldn't help with vet bills. His lip has a large part that won't ever go back to the way it was. I've attached pictures and circled where the damage was and visible scar vs. The other side of his lip and what it normally looks like. I tried one more time after and specifically asked to not let him play with other dogs in case he was the aggressor. And he came back with more nicks and cuts and smelling like pee and skinny. I recently tried a new spot for boarding, though they are a little more expensive, he came back not skinny, not smelling like anything but like he had been outside, and no visible damage to his body. I would not recommend this place at all. We went here on a recommendation from my fiancee's sister, but her dog also came away with kennel cough (from their other location) and had to get meds to help with it. Unfortunately for h,er she got one of their packages of stays and has to use them up to get her money's worth. But after says she will not use Abbie's.
