We popped in last minute because this is always one of my favorite sushi spots. Happily got a table out front so we were able to enjoy the food and people watch at the same time. The food here is really so good and fresh. The Tuna pizza is my favorite thing on the menu. Drinks are also top notch. We had a wonderful server but her wing man was truly the star. George is a kind and diligent worker who truly takes pride in every aspect of customer service. Watching the way he worked and cared about his job was inspiring. Such a huge impression that we called the manager over to compliment his service and the food as well. Certainly keeping this on my short list for the next trip to Vegas. read more

Yellowtail never disappoints. Tonight was the best visit yet. Chanez took care of every detail. She kept us laughing and made the whole night feel easy. She connects with people in a way you do not see often. She also recommended the short ribs and they were unreal. Miguel backed her up all night and made sure the table stayed perfect. Unfortunately, you're paying more for the ambiance and experience than the food itself. For the same cost $600+, or even less, you can find comparable -- if not better -- flavor and quality over on Spring Mountain Road. The Michelin pedigree, sadly, doesn't come through in the dishes. They also have tables in the back and if you're lucky, seating outside with a full on view of the fountains. It wasnt crazy busy when I went, but a steady crowd. I wasn't sure what to order. Ended up with the surf and turf. If you're the type that likes to cut your own steak and lobster as you go, this comes precut which I wasn't expecting and it was either $125 or $135 for this meal. I felt it dried out the food faster, esp the lobster. I got the sunset cocktail which was okay. And for dessert I got the apple harumaki which is i found was similar to an apple pie but in an egg roll form with ice cream, which was okay too. I had to ask for water a few times and waited a bit for my bill to come. It can get loud as they had a live DJ playing, so I had to repeat myself a few times. This restaurant is in the Bellagio hotel, and it was a little difficult to find. The hostesses are wearing strange skimpy outfits, but inside the place is very upscale and fancy, and the male servers are dressed up. So the hostess did not fit the rest of the vibe of the restaurant. You can pay extra to sit outside and watch the water show. There is a per person minimum. We could still slightly see the water show from our table inside. We really enjoyed the yellowtail Serrano and the cucumber salad. I did feel the prices were a bit steep especially paying $11 for a clear onion soup. The service was prompt, but also a bit stiff. They didn't have much of a personality. I got a bottle of wine and they kept it chilled and put away and they would have to come and refill it. Overall, the food was pretty good however, for the price point we paid I think we could've gotten better/more food elsewhere. read more

Downgrading this restaurant to between 3 and 4 star due to inconsistency. While the ambience is always awesome, I think the food quality went down. The tuna pizza was not the same as we had last time. The yellowtail role had to be sent back as it was just so plain and tasteless and yet the price was outrageous. The soft-shell crab roll was pretty good through. I don't think the server was as good as the person we had last time. read more

We chose the tasting menu with the sake flight and sat on the patio overlooking the Bellagio fountains, and it couldn't have been a better experience. Every course was beautifully presented and somehow managed to top the one before it. The sake flight was expertly paired and really elevated the meal without overpowering the flavors. From start to finish, everything was absolutely delicious. The service was attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced, making the entire evening feel relaxed and special. Between the incredible food, outstanding service, and unbeatable patio atmosphere, this was easily a 10/10 dining experience. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Las Vegas. read more

I always recommend YellowTail to everyone I know who is visiting Vegas, whether they are staying at the Bellagio or not. Truly one of the best restaurants in Vegas. The YellowTail Sushi and the Big Eye Pizza (I'm old school - the original name) are the best. Carbone Riviera's versions weren't close to be honest, but their Salmon was delicious. Back to YellowTail, the Old Fashion, always my drink there, has a new twist and it is even better. Keep the new recipe. Also, it's so nice to be greeted as a recognized guest by the Maitra Di and have our server, Mickel, who remembers our drink of choice and our menu favorites. Our server was helpful at navigating the menu for gluten free and did a great job helping us figure out what could be modified to fit my allergy. They brought me out Tamari as well. The restaurant is beautiful with a view of the lake, though we were seated in the interior, and dark rich colors. It has a lovely date night ambiance. We ordered a variety of different plates from sushi, to the filet mignon, gyoza and miso soup. The filet mignon and angry salmon roll were big hits. I also really appreciated that every time someone brought out a plate they specified to me- this is gluten free, or this is NOT gluten free. I really appreciated that clear communication between the table and the kitchen. Overall a nice place serving elegant dishes at high standards and with top of the line professionalism. I have been coming to Yellowtail for over 12 years and have never had anything less than an amazing experience. The food is always delicious & the service is always top tier. Even when they are booked & busy, like they were last night, they always accommodate us as best that they can & service works like a well-oiled machine. We are especially partial to Mifka as our server, she just always shines with her amazing personality and attention to detail. They have an extensive & well-curated drinks menu with a varied sake selection. Our go-tos on the food menu are the tuna pizza (always!), seaweed salad, house pickles, protein roll, Kalbi roll, rock shrimp, salmon tiradito, & the short ribs. But we also like the filet, miso cod, lobster tempura, toro roll & Serrano yellowtail. Honestly you can't go wrong with anything on the menu and it's always good to come with a group of other food lovers so you can try a little bit of everything. I ordered the omakase (almost $200), and while the flavors were refined, I honestly expected a more private, personal experience--something where you see a bit of the magic happen. The portions also left me wondering if inflation is creeping in... the tuna pizza, while delicious, was tiny. We selected Yellow Tail to celebrate our 46 year anniversary. We live here in LV and have eaten at Yellow Tail many times. The food and service quality was a 10 out of 10 as we have experienced in our other visits. Miska was our server and did an incredible job taking our order and frequently following up to make sure our evening experience was excellent. The food highlights were the Tuna Pizza, Black Cod, and the dessert Chocolate in a Cup. A friend took us here because she raved about the pizza. We had reservations (which I recommend) but Vegas did Vegas things and of course we missed it. Not to fret though, there were a bunch of seats at the bar and they served food! Between the four of us, we ordered two of the Tuna Pizza and a softshell crab roll, as this was just a snack to hold us over. The pizza and the roll were absolutely amazing. Thin pieces of tuna spread over a crunchy crust to make the pizza. There were essence of truffle oil and had some micro shiso on top which added a refreshing taste to the fish. As for the softshell crab roll, it was a special. It was absolutely delicious. It was nice and warm, crispy and flavorful. I hope they continue to add that to the menu. Sitting at the bar was fun, as we got to interact with the bartender, and just see people come and go. I'd definitely come back and try more of their menu. read more

If you want the best view of the fountain and strip while having a delicious dinner, here's your spot! You can enjoy the wonderful fountain music every 15/30 minutes with outdoor heaters or even have a very private two person table too. In general the food was pretty good with the tuna pizza being a surprise. It doesn't sound like something that would work but I think the truffle oil helps! The halibut had lots of delicious sauce such that my wife added a bowl or rice to soak it all up. Went to Yellowtail and decided to sit in the patio area. Yes, I know, not the wisest decision since its like 110°F, but we got to enjoy the fountain show. Our server, Yukiko, picked up on the fact that we may need very ample water refills for the hot and dry weather and she came by a lot, which I appreciated We got the tuna pizza, and a wide assortment of nigiri. Overall a very typical sushi restaurant, but service is genuinely excellent. Plus a fountain show, cant get mad at that We finished with the black sesame matcha cake, recommended by Yukiko because we wanted a really nice dessert that isnt cloying. It was so good! One star for a really ridiculous problem. I booked through their required service. There's a $25 no-show fee. I had a reservation for three and I showed up and spent $900.
