Had a great dinner at Kusa Nori at Resorts World! We ordered the shishito peppers, soft shell crab tempura, salmon, ikura, scallop, yellowtail nigiri, and The Strip roll, plus the Akashi Tai sparkling sake, and everything was yummy. The sushi was fresh and well prepared, and overall the dishes were solid. Service was great, very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is definitely a highlight, which is both stylish and lively, perfect for a celebration or big night out. Only reason for 4 stars is that while everything was good, it didn't fully wow us for the price point. Still a great experience overall and worth checking out!

Beautiful interior and a perfect mood for dinner! Kusa Nori at Resorts World has a stunning atmosphere with dimmed lighting that feels very upscale. We came in on a Friday around 5 PM without a reservation. The staff was accommodating, took our names, and sat us in a comfortable round booth shortly after. The food is excellent. We ordered the Chicken Karaage, a Kumiawase with the Umi Riku Roll, and the Negi Toro Roll. Every dish was delicately prepared. You can definitely taste the freshness and quality. We truly enjoyed the meal itself. My only word of caution is the drink markup. We asked for a sake recommendation and were steered toward a bottle priced at nearly $100, which we later realized retails for about $20 at a chain liquor store. I expect a markup in Vegas, but a 5x increase felt a bit excessive. On the plus side, they let us take the unfinished bottle home. Overall, great vibes and delicious food.

On our recent trip to Vegas my fiance and I decided to stay at resorts world. We loved our experience at this hotel, and we had a $100 credit through Amex to use at their restaurants. We would describe our experience at Kusa Nori as very average. The sushi rolls all tasted the same and they were just OK. However, if you do choose to go to the restaurant, you MUST get the Wagyu Gyoza. Best Gyoza I've ever had. All in all, the restaurant is beautiful and our service was good. Maybe just try something other than sushi rolls?

Ambiance & Seating: Interestingly, while it is a Japanese restaurant, the interior felt more Chinese-inspired. We were seated at a large round table with a "Lazy Susan" (turntable), which is something you typically see in Chinese fine dining. Although it felt a bit unconventional for a Japanese meal, it turned out to be incredibly convenient for our large group to share dishes. Wine & Beverage: For a large-scale Japanese restaurant, their beverage program is impressive. The champagne and wine list is well-curated, making it very easy to find a great bottle to pair with the meal. Food & Presentation: The presentation of each dish was visually stunning--definitely "Instagrammable." However, from a personal preference standpoint, I felt some of the garnishes and plating were a bit over-the-top. While the aesthetics were fun to look at, the flavors felt slightly overshadowed by the presentation at times. Overall: Despite the minor personal preferences, it was a high-quality experience. If you're looking for a place in Resorts World that can accommodate a crowd with great wine options, Kusa Nori is a reliable choice.

Convenient for dinner after a show at Resorts World. The hostess (black girl with blonde hair) is THE BEST! I couldn't remember her name. We were seated immediately. Decor 6 Food 3 Price 5 Service 9 Overall it was a nice experience, but I wouldn't return.

This is such a nice place inside the Resorts World. The food is fresh, sexy and fun. The service was amazing as well. We felt like VIP the whole time. Our waiter made recommendations that did not disappoint. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

It's a good spot right off the hotel room, our first time visiting here. Their sushi is fresh and delicious, my favorite seafood is raw oyster and it's very fresh. At that time they have promotion on set of "4Charles Prime Rib," unfortunately we didn't like it. My Mom feels like it's too raw to chew and swallow. We're not going to order this again. Lol The service is great, no long wait which I like the most. Fancy ambiance. I still wanna try their teppanyaki in my next visit.

This place was very cool and plate decorations were pretty. I'm not a sushi guy but came here with some friends. I had their tuna tartar 10/10 and two sushi rolls. Everything was delicious. Service was amazing.

Great sushi spot at Resort World. We ordered a variety of rolls and all were beautifully presented and fresh. I loved the Cod fish dish with foam on top but the sauce was a tad too sweet. I also loved the cucumber salad but it was bit too salty in spots. Overall it's a solid dinner spot with lots of variety. Very attentive service, love when dishes disappear and table is cleared as soon as we finish with them. Cool decor with some projectors making fish move on the ground.

Came here for our first dinner after arriving in Vegas, and boy did it provide! We came to celebrate my younger brother's 21st birthday and were quickly greeted by John our server. John was attentive, kind and very helpful with our ordering. He recommended us a fantastic sake for my brother to try. It was light and refreshing and paired really well with our food. The ambiance was wonderful as well. Nice dim lighting, fun decor and relaxed. We ordered the bluefin tartare, a few different nigiri and the hamachi roll. Everything was delicious and satisfying. Our favorite dish was definitely the tartare. It was citrusy and flavorful! Each nigiri we ordered was delicious as well! They also provided us with a delicious dessert to celebrate his birthday that was also fantastic. We really enjoyed ourself and each and every bite. Thank you again John for a wonderful experience to kick off our week in Vegas! Highly recommend.

Kusa Nori was just a bit mid tier The interior decor was definitely a vibe for me All the food presentation complimented the decor But as for tasting the food, it was mediocre My favorite thing was probably the oyster But I don't know if there was no dry ice what I'd take it for Some of the sushi tasted good While others tasted far off from what it should All in all if you are looking for food in the Resorts World casino to eat This place might do it, but it might not be Very 50/50

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but the food and service were disappointing. Our server not only shut down reasonable dietary substitution requests (such as replacing shrimp with spicy tuna or salmon) but did so dismissively. He looked uninterested, made faces, and refused to even check with the chef. That lack of flexibility and attentiveness made the experience even worse. Appetizers were poor, the miso cod was overly sweet, and the robata vegetables were tough and unbalanced. While the manager was polite, our server was dismissive and refused reasonable substitutions. For the price, the quality and flexibility fell far short of expectations. I give this place 4 starts just because the manager Dexter was super nice and helpful.

There was some major construction in the neighborhood, so it took us in circles but we finally arrived! The restaurant is quaint and located in a strip mall. Parking was crazy, and we had quite a few panhandlers walk up to us as we waited outside for our table. The restaurant is smaller but extremely crowded. Many patrons were dining there, and we can understand why. We ordered a variety of dishes, appetizers and desserts. Each one was fresh and had great flavoring! We did not order the AYCE. We ordered several rolls and they were 5/5. The rice was fresh and so was the fish. There were not any aftertaste or seaside smells at all. They didn't overcompensate by drowning the rules in sauces. You can actually taste everything which was very refreshing. The muscles were cooked properly. They were not overcooked or undercooked. They were not too watery like most places. They actually used real missago. The only thing that I would suggest is to maybe spend a little bit more time cleaning the shells. We ordered several appetizers such as the taoyaki, tempura, edamame and a few others. I love the way the temper was nice and crispy on the outside and the shrimp was still tender and fully cooked. The edamame was not watered down and had the right amount of salt. The taiyaki actually had chunks of octopus and not just smush seafood and sauce in the middle. The desserts were okay, we asked for green tea but they gave us something different. The tempora fried ice cream was a little too battered. The service was pretty good even though they were extremely busy. They did come and check on us a couple of times and we did have to wave them down a few times. However they were friendly and definitely did respond to us when we asked for additional items. We definitely do not have any complaints about this restaurant. We will definitely be coming back. We highly recommend it.

Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch.
