Smelled good. Not enough employees working on a Sunday. They left drinks on counter, ice melting. Took forever to get pizza, and it was burned. When I tried to complain they said it's supposed to be a cracker crust. No apology from any of the employees. Had to beg for sauce for bread sticks. We used to like this restaurant but last night I ordered take out dinner for the family. One burger basket had been left out and the kids wouldn't eat the burgers because the lettuce was so wet the burgers were wet and falling apart. I called and was told they could remake the order but the kids were not interested and were eating something else. The chef said they would refund the entire amount. I asked if we could come pick up the refund the next day and was told that was fine. My husband went to get the refund and all of a sudden it was a no. They refunded the $7.00 for what we didn't get but wouldn't refund anything else. In fact the owner treated my husband like garbage. When I called she was incredibly rude to me and we will never spend money there again. $42.00 was the bill. read more

I have a very large family with ten kids, including me, and my parents and they allow us to put two of the tables together so that our family can sit all together and their hospitality and service is great. But not only is their service excellent their food is outstanding and they are very quick about serving people. They have the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. They are aways fluffy, not hard like most places in town and the sausage gravy is awesome. The half order is always plenty for me. My husband is a huge fan of their chicken fried steak breakfast which is quite popular. Breakfast is served until 11am. Oh yeah, they have good burgers too. I was looking for a big WOW factor when I went there after reading the Yelp reviews. Got a ruben and fries to go. When I got home I saw that I was charged $12.20 for the sandwich. Best burgers in both cities. Milkshakes made to order. Elk, fish, or beef offered in burgers. Also can substitute a wonderful salad in place of fries. Home made dressing too. You can also get sweet potato fries. You can have good old fashioned hamburgers or eat healthy. We have only been disappointed once. I visit coos bay every year in July. One of my first stops is yeongs. The burgers here are second to none. Yeongs is one of those places you drive by and wonder, why are they always busy. Then you stop and order s burger and discover why. Because they are freakin good. The only thing I wish was that they made home made fries. The frozen one leave something to be desired. read more

The place is very small with limited parking. The few times I've been there, I couldn't find a place to sit and once I just ended up leaving. The service is up to par, but not great. After years of going to Yeong's since I was a kid, I don't think I will return after my most recent experience. The service was stellar, but food was lacking. I ordered a baby burger lettuce wrapped with sweet potato fries. My food came as ordered, with curbside service(I ordered to go, and the wonderful girl behind the counter brought my food out to me when I was done). Anyways... the flavor wasn't great. My burger smelt weird to begin with and then when I tasted it, there wasn't much flavor but the little bit of flavor I did get tasted like fish or seafood. Blek! Not what a cheese burger is supposed to taste like. Burger went straight to the garbage. The fries tasted alright except for they were sooooo full of grease. I know I know, if I didn't want grease I could've went somewhere else, but I chose Yeong's because I was starving and had always had great food there. Hopefully this was just a bump, and this iconic staple for Coos Bay/North Bend isn't going completely down hill. read more
