Never been here before- it was the best ramen I've ever had. Service was incredible- Lee helped us figure everything out and she was the kindest person ever. I will 10000% be coming back, and I will tell everyone I know about this place!!!!

A more unique concept restaurant where you pick all your ingredients at once and they'll cook it for you-- whether if you want a soup base or dry pot style. I think this is a nice place to go to if you want hot pot but you want everything all at once instead of plate by plate. The person there was so helpful and nice. We actually overestimated how much food we put in our bowls, and at the end she also helped us put our leftovers in a container for us! Will definitely be back again

Delicious Ma La Tang restaurant in the DFW area! Their broth has such a deep, rich flavor filled with spice and garlic! I love the concept of adding your own fillings and getting a personalized bowl. As for the service, we came in on a Wednesday night, and the staff were so friendly! They were super attentive and always asking if there was anything they could help with.

What makes Yin Tang different from other hot pot places are the personalized hot pots and it is served cooked! You get to choose the vegetables, protein, broth, and spice level and pay by the pound. As of January 2024, it is $13.99/lb. I've also been to the Carrollton location and it's $14.99/lb over there. The broth is absolutely flavorful and delicious! I get the medium spicy and it's the perfect level for me, it does numb your mouth a little bit. If you're looking for some extreme heat, than the large or super spicy will work better! The service is amazing and the staff is always coming up to check on me! I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a lowkey hot pot spot and like to eat alone! DFW doesn't have that many personal hot pot places where they serve it cooked for you! The only other place I know of is all the way in Frisco and that's just too far for me.

This is the place to be if you want a hot bowl of noodle soup filled with toppings of your choice on a fall or winter day. It's the best pick me up and completely customizable! It takes me about an hour to finish the entire soup. The soup base is so flavorful. You are welcome to add as many toppings to your liking! Toppings include but not limited to different kinds of noodles, meats, veggies.

Absolutely love this concept. I had high expectations and they delivered. Excited to come back! What I got: Built my bowl with a dollop of garlic & chili paste, egg noodle, 1 bok choy, 3 napa cabbage (wish they cut this into bite sizes), 2 fish tofu, 1 scallop tofu, 2 firm tofu, 2 pumpkin slices, 2 beef tenderloin (on side cause I like it barely cooked), medium spice broth - I'm more than sure there's sichuan peppers in it cause of that numbing feeling. Turned out to be .995 lbs and I enjoyed every single bite of it. Honestly the broth here is better than almost every hot pot place I've been to. Environment: I like that it's bright and roomy! Bathroom needs work. Service: A little bit or miss depending on server

We were in the area on our weekend "adventure"and just decided to try Yin Tang. We didn't know what it was or how it worked, and we were somewhat embarrassed that we had to ask... so here's how it goes. First you pickup a bowl and tongs. Then, you go station to station among three or four different stations picking fresh vegetables, noodles and proteins. When finished they weigh your bowl and you pick a broth. Next, they hand it off to a cook and bam! your hot delicious bowl of healthy heartwarming goodness arrives. Stop at the sauces station for all the sauces and toppings you might like to spice-up your day! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

A fun and casual concept where you basically build your own soup with all the things you want in it. I didn't know how to do it at first, but you grab the plastic bowl and load it up with noodles, veggies, and meats of your choice and you're charged by the weight at $13.99/lb. Then you choose your spiciness level: I went with medium. The servers were all very nice and attentive, checking up on us frequently. Now that I know how it works, I won't be nervous to go back!

First time here at this restaurant. Upon entering we were warmly welcomed by the staff. They explained how the restaurant worked and how we basically build our own hotpot. There's a decent amount of items to choose from. The great thing about this is that you can choose whatever you want to be put into your bowl and you have full control of the amount as well. When I came, it was $13.99/pound of food. Great concept and it works for me. Sometimes I just don't want too much vegetables in mine and this gives me control. They have spicy and non spicy broths. I chose the tomato soup and it was flavorful and delicious. I'll definitely be back.

First time in. This is a "build your own" hot pot restaurant. Good selection of ingredients and good tasting result. We'll try it again.

This place is absolutely made for a group outing, and we're already planning to come back with a group to take full advantage. The food was a delight. The Singapore noodles had this wonderful curry flavor that I absolutely loved, and the combo fried rice was just as satisfying. We also ordered the Peking duck (P1 on the menu). It was good, though not quite as flavorful on its own as we'd hoped. That said, once you load it up with the hoisin, cucumber, and spring onions, it all comes together beautifully. The bao buns that came with it were soft and delicious, honestly a highlight. We also sipped on hot jasmine tea throughout, which was the perfect, refreshing complement to the whole meal. A solid spot with great vibes, tasty dishes, and room to grow on us even more with a return visit.

But regardless, we didn't have enough skin so asked if we can get 2 more skins, even if we had to pay for them. The waitress barked at us that it comes in 10-pks and that she can't get us just 2 pieces. Fine, but there's no need to be annoyed and roll your eyes at us. The service was much to be desired. We ordered the A-Choy vegetable and it was awful, old and yellow and not cooked well. It's like they didn't sauté it in a hot enough wok so it wasn't crispy. So disappointing this time. Don't get me wrong, the Peking Duck and the soup that comes with it were still pretty good. Thus the second star.

We were seated ( party of four)next to a larger table in the corner of the restaurant. When we ordered, they only took our appetizer order and we had to wait a long period of time before they would take our entree order. During this time, a large table next to us filled up with 6 people who were making so much noise that our table could not even hear each other's conversation. The larger table occupants were loud, rude , and obnoxious. We asked our waitress to do something and the wait staff ignored our request to intervene on our behalf for calmer demeanor from them. Finally , someone from my table had to address this personally and confronted the loud group and asked if they could tone down their enthusiasm so we, and other patrons, could enjoy our evening at the restaurant. They only cut the noise for a few minutes and started again with the loud voices and over boisterous laughter . We were greatly disappointed with the staff and the overall establishment. We normally have a nice dinner with the attentive wait staff and enjoy our menu choices. Because our concerns were not addressed, we don't feel respected and wonder if we will dine again here.
