I ordered from this place based on Google reviews. I ordered delivery on UberEats. The food was wrong. They gave me beef when I ordered tofu. They forgot two orders. It was comically bad. But it happens! So I went to contact the restaurant. Well the phone number on the actual order delivery form I received was disconnected. So I called the number on Google and yelp. It's for a bar in the same mall but not the restaurant. So I tried reaching out on insta. I sent a DM explaining what happened. After 5 days, no response. I finally requested a chargeback from my credit card because I literally couldn't contact the restaurant. The food might be good but the fact that you cannot get help when an order goes wrong is a definite "no" for me. read more

Went on a weekday evening about an hour before closing time. Very few people milling around, so we thought it would be speedy. Single employee was on a 'phone call the entire time the couple in front of us and we ordered. Food was prepared slowly. Took about 20 minutes to get our meal, which was tasty, but our friends who had ordered from another restaurant had finished by the time our meal was ready. When we picked up our food, the staffer was still on his call. Never looked at us. Wild. Cool area and vibe, but terrible service. And standard high prices for the area. Decided to order some food from here at the Marina Village Easter weekend. First off, the young girl working the counter had no customer service bone in her body. She basically ignored us and didn't say a word as we ordered food. As for the food. We got some dumplings and Bao buns. Everything tasted good but some of the dumplings were all mixed around and stuck together. Will probably not be back just because of the terrible customer service. This was my first visit, and I was in the mood for something light and refreshing. Yip offers a variety of vibrant options, including stir-fry bowls, poke, small bites, and a tempting selection of teas and Boba drinks. As a sushi lover, I zeroed in on the vegetable spring rolls and the tuna poke bowl and both seriously impressed me. The spring rolls were crispy, flavorful, and not greasy (a rare find), served with a perfectly balanced sweet chili sauce. Then came the tuna poke bowl beautifully fresh, well-portioned, and layered with flavor thanks to a subtly sweet house sauce drizzled on top. It hit every mark. The service was fast and friendly. I asked to sample the Thai tea, and the gentleman at the counter kindly offered a taste without hesitation such a thoughtful gesture that instantly made me want to come back. There's plenty of shaded outdoor seating along the breezeway, perfect for people-watching or catching a breeze off the ocean. I was going to order a poke bowl here for lunch but the employee was ignoring me the whole time I was waiting to place an order. As I was waiting I took a look inside the kitchen / establishment and noticed cardboard boxes stacked to the ceiling and kitchen utensils and tools thrown into plastic bins. Just a mess. I should've taken a picture. Anyways, I decided immediately to go to another vendor next door. (Which wasn't that great either.) The food was good, however the 2 girls behind the counter had zero customer service skills. We ordered Veggie Spring rolls, 2 crispy chicken bowls and 2 sparkling waters. They took my husband's phone number and told us they would text us when our order was ready. We sat down around the corner at a table and waited for awhile. My husband went to check after 15 minutes and our food was sitting on the counter. He brought it to me and we discovered we only had 1 water. I went back to the girls and said we only got one water, they replied you only paid for one. Well we ordered two because there are 2 of us can I buy another one? The food was good, not great, we expected crispy chicken to be crispy, but it was not. In addition, I ordered noodles and I had to drain the bowl of all the liquid sitting in the bottom. My husband got rice and his bowl was fine, no standing liquid. The spring rolls were fresh and tasty along with the sweet chili sauce that was provided. We both had enough leftovers to bring back to our room for another meal. We ended up spending over $40, leaving a $6 tip for ok food and crappy service. Good thing they don't wait tables. read more

Terrible experience at Yip in Fort Lauderdale. I ordered food and only found out after my order was placed that the crab rangoons were out. No one told me ahead of time while ordering, which is something the staff should obviously communicate. When I asked for a replacement item, they refused to let me choose a different meal and instead acted like it was an inconvenience that I even asked. The manager was especially rude and dismissive about the situation. Instead of trying to fix the mistake or make the experience right, they doubled down and were unpleasant about it. I asked Rose if it would've been necessary for me to order double protein on my bowl, but she insisted that it was protein packed. Visited marina village in a busy Saturday, however, YIP did not have a long line and food was ready in about 15-20 minutes as expected. I only had the chicken dumplings, however, they were fresh, warm when I picked up, and overall delicious. My friends had bao buns which they said were really good. They also had plenty of options for boba tea which most of my party had and enjoyed as well. The location is great, very cute spot with great views of the water and marina.. great stop before or after a day at the beach or workout, for a date, or a get together with friends. read more

I wouldn't say this is a place to really spend your money on. there are other places here in Fort Lauderdale. Its not worth the trouble coming here. Good on convenience big portions mostly the bowl is all rice and 20% is your Ahi of course. Food tasted like it was frozen and you can feel that it was a little freezer burn which was really disappointing, this was not fresh fish. it's a long wait to get your food and though their spring rolls show four in the picture you only get three and they're still not cooked all the way. the flavor was big letdown for me just three vegetable rolls with an Ahi Bowl cost me over $27 truly not worth it. Waited 20 minutes for my food and went up to check and no one was even in there to make the food. A worker called and they said that someone was there working and then realized no one was there at all.
