So it's been I while since the last time I had their wings but I had a craving. Nothing much had changed but they added an outdoor eating area which was nice to see. Also I tried their spicy ramen which I was highly disappointed. The noodles were similar to those instant bowls you buy at a supermarket and the broth was the same as an instant bowls. It came with a hard bowled egg and a few dumplings which were okay. I really enjoyed the side of a pickled veggie. But I would give this dish 2 stars. I ordered the five wing with K-sauce (medium heat). The wings were crispy and not greasy like the last time. Plenty of meat and the sauce was sweet with a little heat. I give the wings 5 stars. I also ordered the onion rings which was a large portion. They were crispy, crunchy and not greasy. One of the better ones that I have had. I'm glad I came back I definitely will come back for their wings but not for their ramen.

Wings were let them, very crispy but dried & lacked flavor inside. Super korean spicy were only mild spicy, garlic soy sauce was good. Kimchee fried rice was the only positive.

This small restaurant is tucked in a corner of building along with other restaurants. There were only few tables to enjoy the meal. We ordered right away at the cashier and the food came out fairly quick and still piping hot! - 5 wings with K-sauce: the wing pieces were big! The coating was very crispy and the meat was flavorful and tender. The K-sauce was good and slightly spicy. - 7 tenders with soy garlic sauce: the tender pieces were huge! The coating was crispy and the meat was tender. The soy garlic sauce was good but I wish that it was more evenly distributed as most of it was at the bottom of the box. - large crinkle cut fries with honey butter: the fries were good and crispy. The honey butter powder was sweet and buttery.

Came here on a Friday afternoon for lunch. We struggled to find parking but eventually found it. Walked in and we were quickly assisted. We ordered a 5 piece of honey butter wings, 13 piece of k sauce wings, deep fries seaweed rolls, and honey butter crinkle fries. There was plenty of seating inside and out. We received our food within 10 mins. Both flavor of wings were delicious in their own way, both crispy and very flavorful. The fries and fried seaweed were the perfect sides. We enjoyed each item and hope to try more soon!

Sad to report the front counter kid doesn't know anything. Seems very lost. We suggest she learns everything on the menu. Don't be afraid to speak. And use a calculator to figure out cash change. Don't want to get that wrong. The food was good so at least there's that.

Home run? Nope. Grand Slam Home run instead. The chicken wings are absolutely phenomenal. The reputation they've developed over the years made it a spot we had to try, but the delivery of tasty, and large wings with great galbi and K-sauce took it to another level. We got the wings to go and had it at my mother-in-laws house in Incline and we all enjoyed them. On top of it, the service was extremely friendly and the place look ever so inviting. This is now our go to place when we visit Tahoe.

We've got K-sauce, galbi, and one flavor that I forgot for chicken, and honey butter fries, deep fried seaweed rolls. I can say it was one of the best Korean fried chicken I've ever had. The sauce was not too spicy at all and very flavorful. Chicken was crispy on the outside and tender, juicy on the inside. Honey butter fries were also so good and we could not stop eating them. The service was great too, the girl in the front desk suggested us the choice of flavors and also the portion. Definitely will be back when we go to Lake Tahoe next time.

Stopped by after hiking a trail near Tahoe and got some hot wings and honey-butter fries. Sat outside with my dog and chilled while taking in the mountains. Best post hike lunch ever. Enjoyed the rest of Tahoe and the beaches afterwards. Fun little storefront in a mini-mall with other restaurants and retail. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Parking was a BEAR... o/w highly recommend if you're looking for great food from Korea.

1 single fry piece + 1 sauce sample to seal the deal! It makes guests feel special and activates their hunger signals in a special way. Though this is not Hooter's with over 20 different wing sauce flavors to sample with a few free corporate-funded fries to help amplify the flavor profiles as a appetite-triggering pseudo-appetizer, the menu featured a handful of unique flavors that may have looked/sounded better than they were. But it is the unique flavors that help you stand out against competitors. As a professional wing saleswoman, this is my honest review: The hot honey (wet) on the wings was amazing but my partner was not a huge fan of the sweet honey (dry) tenders. I enjoyed my 'snowy' tenders but I think both flavors mixed together was my favorite flavor (but not something you can easily ask for since it's (sweet honey) is an expensive imported ingredient he told us.) (flavor mixing is popular, especially for polarizing flavors like dry lemon pepper + wet mild buffalo.) We ended up just combining them into one box for the ride home to enjoy :) he enjoyed the sweet honey seasoning on the onion rings as well. The chicken quality? 10/10 I love a delicious breaded wing and the tenders were thiccc and crispy :) and crinkle fries are always a winner, especially for seasoned fries. And the ranch was delicious too!

We made a pit stop, and ordered their Kimchi Spam Rice Bowl, along with Pork Rib Soybean Paste Soup. The order also came with banchan, side dishes with cucumber, radish, and kimchi. The Kimchi Spam Rice Bowl had a good mix of ingredients and was delicious. The Pork Rib Soybean Paste Soup was flavorful and has a good kick to it. There are other dishes on the menu that look interesting, but perhaps next time. The Miscellaneous The Moon's Korean Kitchen is along US-50, about midway between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe. You can miss it if you zoom through the highway. The restaurant is not super big per say, but there's a decent amount of seating for its size. During the time we went, it seemed like the owner was soloing the entire place. But the food came at a reasonable time. The restaurant doesn't have an extensive menu, but it's straightforward with variety. There are appetizers with barbeque, stews, noodles, amongst others. Though it is not a place one would visit often, they do have yummy food. Would recommend making the pit stop if you are around the area.

They likely never put my name down for the reservation. We even offered to split our group into multiple tables since there were several empty tables available throughout the restaurant. Instead of trying to accommodate us, the staff continued taking phone orders and seating other families at those empty tables while my family was left standing there, feeling completely ignored. It was frustrating and disappointing to see available seating go to other guests while no effort was made to communicate with us or find a solution. A little acknowledgment and customer service would have gone a long way. They didn't even apologize. In the beginning I thought it was a language barrier but when I politely addressed my concerns they were extremely rude and had no desire to find a solution. Most of our party left due to the rude service. Only 6 of us stayed behind to eat. We thought the food was good. We paid for the bill in cash, only for the server to chase us outside and accuse us of shorting the cash. Either someone stole it or dropped it because we paid the full price plus tip. Since we didn't have any proof, we had no choice but to pay twice. Will never eat here or recommend again.

One thing we noticed right away was that the bonchon was already set on the tables before guests arrived. It wasn't a large spread--just a small tin of cheese corn and a divided tray with kimchi, bean sprouts, and fish cake--not sure how long they were left out and did look and taste dry. The servers seemed to work well together. Different team members checked on us, cleared dishes, served food, and helped other's tables. Once it got busier, they also used robot servers to help deliver food. We started with the salad with house dressing and the popcorn chicken. Both were good, and the chicken was nice and moist. For the BBQ, we ordered the Chardol, Ju Mul Luck, Hawaiian Steak, Tri-Tip Bulgogi, and Galbi (short ribs). Having eaten at quite a few Korean BBQ restaurants in Las Vegas, we noticed the portions here were a bit smaller. They also limit each round to three appetizers and four meat selections. Overall, the service was good, and we especially appreciated Eurie for being friendly and attentive. The only thing that concerned us was when another server changed our grill. Instead of lightly drizzling oil onto the grill, she forcefully squeezed the bottle, causing the oil to shoot out onto grill. It seemed like an unnecessary safety risk for both guests and employees. Our favorites were definitely the Tri-Tip Bulgogi and the Galbi. Both were flavorful and tender. The Chardol was good, but the slices were very thin and the portion felt a little small. The restaurant filled up quickly between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., so it's clearly a popular spot. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would come back for the Tri-Tip Bulgogi, Galbi, and the teamwork displayed by the staff.

As someone who occasionally likes to eat alone, I really appreciate that. I've visited several times over the years, including recently under the newer ownership. Unfortunately, some of my old favorites aren't quite the same. I used to love their deep-fried oysters, which are no longer on the menu and have been replaced with deep-fried mussels. The kimchi stew recipe also seems to have changed and wasn't as memorable as before. That said, they still serve my favorite gopchang (beef small intestine). When cooked properly, it gets wonderfully crispy and reminds me of Mexican tripas tacos--definitely worth ordering. I'd personally skip the bibimbap appetizer. The rice was hard, the ground beef was cold, and it felt like it relied too heavily on the gochujang sauce for flavor. Even with those changes, I'll continue supporting this business. Service was also attentive.
