I wish the pricing would be up front. Although the website did specify "$95 and up".. I booked on line - upon arrival I was told the $95 was for children. Once seated in the chair I was told my hair would be $150 It's barely to my shoulders. I stayed because I desperately needed a cut and had faith that for this price it would be spectacular. A little disappointed, spent a long time (close to 4 hours) and a lot of money to get my hair balayage, but was a mediocre experience and wish I went to my old salon. Stylist texted me asking for inspo pics which made me excited that it would be good sign, instead she spent a lot of time telling me how everyone wants a trendy ashy color which I didn't think my inspo pics were. She went and cut someone else's hair in the middle of my appt, and there weren't enough hair wash chairs for my bleach to get washed out when it was ready to. She also spent my entire hair wash telling me washing my hair 3x a week was too often and I was ruining my hair and spent a lot of time lecturing me on how to care for my hair. Now a month later the color has already faded a ton despite me washing 2x a week with color sage shampoo and there are clear lines of where the bleach started which I have NEVER experienced with balayage, especially just a month after leaving the salon. I had partial highlights/balayage done by Helen, who really knows hair. My friend highly recommended Helen for a haircut. I decided to try her after my prior stylist that I have been seeing for 5 years in another county left for maternity leave. My haircut was fantastic and I don't think I have had a person give me good recommendations ever since I hit middle age. I tried using her for highlights after she encouraged me that we could hide my grays so that coloring could be less frequent and low maintenance. I loved the highlights and it is appropriate for my age. I waited a couple of weeks and it still looks great. Helen even asked how I wear my hair during the week and during the weekend so that the highlights would look good when my hair is up or down.
