We asked a few questions and sampled some flavors before deciding, although I have to say the service was pretty mediocre--the staff didn't seem too enthusiastic or helpful. We ended up keeping it classic with the strawberry. I could definitely tell they use fresh, quality ingredients, but personally the flavor and texture just didn't stand out much to my taste buds. Overall, cute shop with some creative flavors and fresh ingredients, but my first experience was just okay. Maybe I'll have better luck with a different flavor next time!

The soft serve had an intensely creamy flavor with a high milk content and while the honey enjoyed his Thai milk tea boba, the style of my mango cup was not for me (although the fish cone option is very cute). We ordered from a tablet at the front and the service was prompt and friendly. I'd love to see them add in some outside seating as beyond the Starbucks, there's no seating in this shopping center. All in all, we may come back to order food but sadly it just wasn't a good match for the type of ice cream I enjoy.

They replicate their ice cream assortment behind the front counter for all servers can serve customers - this was a first for us. They are more efficient than my local bank! A cool little thing is they use metal spoons for their samples and there's a discard hole in the front counter wall to dispose of the used spoons. The samples definitely taste better with a metal spoon versus the normal plastic things. I had the Salted, Malted, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough - props for the creative name! My wife had the Cinnamon Snickerdoodle. We strolled outside and found a table to try these guys out. Oh my. From the first bites we were sold. My wife and I shared a scoop of Chocolate Gooey Brownie which was rich, creamy, and chocolate-y. She always gets this flavor whenever she visits Salt & Straw.

I very very very rarely give out five stars to any place...let alone a yogurt shop. This place deserves the five stars; it is really the pie (or yogurt) in the sky. The beach theme decor is relaxing and fitting with Jack Johnson playing in the background. They keep their shop spotless, unlike the countless yogurt places I have been to. In addition, the staff is really friendly, up beat, and understands costumer service. Prices are very reasonable, and it is self serve which I prefer. Now the yogurt, man oh man is it good. They always have different flavors rotating with chocolate and vanilla as a staple (you can find the flavors of the day on line or by calling in). My favorite is peanut butter, but all of them are really top notch. Also they have a selection of tart flavors if you prefer that type of yogurt (also really good). Sometimes when I'm eating the yogurt I forget its yogurt, and think I'm eating ice cream...it's that good. Furthermore, you are allowed to sample whatever, which I normally take full advantage of. As for the toppings, one word...awesome. Not only do they have every topping imaginable, but they are all fresh and well stocked (with fruit to hot fudge to cookie dough pieces). I have been to places where the candy is hard/nasty because they let it sit there for months. The shack is also green, giving the customers the option of using cups made from recycled material (they also have Styrofoam cups for those who prefer the old fashion way). They also provide full nutritional facts/ingredients on their yogurt, unlike many places that will just have non-fat posted above the yogurt dispensers. This is the perfect spot for any occasion; in fact I might just go this afternoon. read more

I'm sorry but I was really dissapointed with the yogurt if it is yogurt. As soon as I pulled the handle the yogurt came out very light and fluffy. There was no weight behind it like it was shaving cream. After I tried it I had to throw it out. The original tasted like frozen sour cream. This product is definateley not real yogurt and if so its very low quality. I dont like Tuttimelon because its watered down cheap yogurt also but it made Tutti taste like a gourmet froyo shop. If you want real organic creamy froyo made with 100% organic milk and organic brown sugar (No corn syrup or artificial ingredients) go to Blush Organic Frozen Yogurt in Dublin, Burlingame, San Francisco and Walnut Creek. The yogurt is way too sweet for me. Not enough of tart flavor. They have lots of dry topping but god knows how old those topping are in those huge containers. Their cold topping is very poor. Just few fruit selections and they are not at all fresh. The location is great though but it's just not good enough for me to come back. read more

However, when I came to pick up my order, I was shocked that the online prices are WAY more than 14% higher. For example, their most popular item, the Eggwich with cheese and meat, is $8.45 online and only $6.39 in store. That's 32%. Ouch! PRO TIP: order in store if you're gonna go in to pick up anyway. So, how was the food? Actually quite good. What we got: + Eggwich with ham and cheese - bagel was soft and there was a decent amount of ham and eggs. + Eggwich with sausage and cheese on Jalapeno cheese bagel - the Jalapeno bagel was spicier than I expected. I had to pluck off a few Jalapenos, but I enjoyed the sandwich. + Pastrami sandwich on a roll - this was served on dutch crunch. Sandwich was tasty with a generous amount of pastrami and a good combination of veggies. Overall, a good bagel/sandwich shop in a great location. Their sandwiches are quite large for the low (in store) prices. Oh, they also have boba tea drinks and Vietnamese coffee. But we didn't try any of the drinks.
