I can't believe I haven't reviewed Yogurtland! This is my favorite location by far. It's clean and the flavors are always stocked. There is usually a line here but the staff is friendly and they keep it moving! The variety of flavors is overwhelming and there isn't a topping they don't have. This place is perfect because it's self serve, you get to decide how much you want and how much you're willing to pay. The patio area is spacious which is why I'm guessing so many people choose to eat here instead of to go. Make sure you sign up for the rewards card because they offer great deals and keep you updated with flavor news through email. I don't use their app but I've never had any issues using the card they provide. Well worth signing up. read more

Fantastic service at the Yogurtland in Brea. Both guys working there around 830 pm on July 3 were very nice. One guy outside at the entrance handed us gloves and asked us which size bowls we needed and directed us where to go and the other guy at the cashier with the sunflower face mask on was super friendly. After experiencing bad service during our dinner at a near by restaurant coming here to Yogurtland after our dinner and having much better service turned our night around. Thank you to the two male workers working at Yogurtland that evening and their upbeat service. It's nice to see people who actually enjoy their jobs especially during Covid 19. read more

I love (and hate) that this place is so close to me. Yogurtland in Brea is always clean and toppings are always fresh, no matter what time of day it is. I've come here at all hours of the day, and they seem to always have their store together. I hate that it's so close to me because I go there way too much. I'm not giving this place a 5 star only because recently, their yogurt as been a little on the melty side. I hope this is just temporary and they'll adjust their machines! All in all, if you've never been to a self-serve yogurt place, you better know a few things: 1. You don't need to fill up your cup. You pay per ounce, which sounds daunting, but you won't spend more than $5 on your yogurt...unless you're topping it with babies. 2. The strawberry water looks weird, but it's delicious, grab a cup! 3. You can ask for a sample, don't risk mixtures that sound great (mango+chocolate) but actual taste like poop. 4. There really isn't a line. Don't get offended when somebody jumps ahead of you or somebody walks back up the tiny line to get some more..it's chaos, just deal with it 5. We haven't been to this location in years. It used to be messy on the inside and really dirty on the patio. Now the patio is quite welcoming but the interior is even more unkempt. Are you like me? Enjoys most things and not very picky? For someone who's neither a faithful FroYo fanatic nor very finicky with food, I found this place to be frigid cool. More flavor choices than I expected and freshness, quality and variety of toppings were fantastic. A dream come true for the add-all, eat-all type like me. (Sorry, not the one to flip out over an apparently missing pistachio flave. See older reviews.) However I don't really see myself returning on my own, except maybe to meet with friends like tonight. They're open late, but loud music and dinky tables aren't conducive to studying, work or even just to chill. No Wi-Fi, too, though understandably so... froyo's not a study food and only lasts a few till turning into a bowl of warm milk. Neo L. (below) is right, their yogurt was a bit melty, and when I pointed it out to a staff, I was told he'd "check on it" - i.e. after I had paid for mine and he's wiped all the machines clean. It's gotta be at least 3 months since people started noticing it. With something like Froyo, every degree warmer means less longevity on the table. Latly, FROYO PLACES ARE WAY TOO FADDY STILL. Only reason I'd review a chain like this is to opine about how something that was so groundbreaking-ly entrepreneurial can't go beyond the established "chic-look" and same-old run. Limited and uncomfortable seating. Chaotic setup. And melty froyo? The only other place I thought would be an exception to the fad model was the busiest Pinkberry branch I know, in Westwood by UCLA. Nothing different there except lines almost always went out the door. It closed this year. Suggestion: maybe people should egg the staff to work on their froyo first and foremost. Closed at 5 PM and the website showed until 11PM...there was 2 young male employees just taking their time messing with the cut up fruits and toppings talking and what not with NO masks on!!! You are required to wear a mask! If one employee is a-symptomatic and SPITS while chatting over ALL the toppings and a customer eats that...then what I'd they get sick? Just nasty! I am truly disappointed with this store.I went to my favorite frozen yogurt shop this week, to be motioned wildly at to stay out before I even approached the door; to be yelled at by this woman behind the counter for walking in too quickly; and scolded for not having my mask properly in place (though I was in the middle of adjusting it at the time), and to generally be treated horribly by this power monger at the cash register. One of my favorite Fro-yo spots. The store is normally kept pretty clean. I've never seen any major spills that weren't cleaned up quickly. There's plenty of seating in and out of the store so you can relax and enjoy your treat. They always seem to have at least a few new flavors every time I come here as well as a wide variety for your taste buds. They also have a great selection of toppings. Love the hard shell chocolate and whipped cream for the days when I really want to cheat. If you join their rewards program, it pays to come back more often... in free future ounces. Lastly, the employees are your normal young college age kids and most are pretty friendly. Only had one instance when someone wasn't super chipper but I get it... not a big deal. read more

Located in the heart of the beautiful city of Brea, this Yogurtland is located in a shopping center that is also home to one of the best places to hit up Taco Tuesday! Word is that this establishment used to be a Starbucks a couple of years back. It is crazy as to how a Starbucks of all franchises could shut down like that. The fact that Yogurtland took its place is well worth deserving of a great review and frequent visits! Their flavors range in many different kinds, pomegranate being my personal favorite. Too many different kinds of toppings to choose from, which would make my mouth water already! The staff here are always very kind with their clients. The fact that this location stays open until late is a big convenience, due to the fact that the evening time is the best time for a Yogurt run! Not so much a yogurt person in general however....something about being able to control the amount of yogurt and toppings leaves me with a sublime feeling. I'd feel like an asshole telling the employee how I want 4 different types of yogurt and 6 toppings, chances are they wouldnt be up to par anyways. I appreciate it! You rock! I only came here to get the Keroppi and My Melody spoons that came out. They are now sitting with the Hello Kitty and Chococat spoons I got last week. This Yogurtland is clean and usually has good flavors. It is also close to my home and has plenty of parking. I used to the one by Cal State Fullerton but the parking sucks there and they NEVER have good flavors. I like the fruity and tart flavors, which they tend to have at this location. Yay! The topping bar is relatively clean and not sticky like other Yogurtlands. I still prefer Menchies for my frozen yogurt needs but when these "special spoons" come out...I can't help myself!! I had been dreaming of the day I would visit pretty much all summer, since I live in Central VA - a land devoid of Yogurtland goodness... Anyway! I love fro yo, and I had previously named Menchies and Red Mango as my reigning favorites - but Yogurtland seriously upped the ante with their creative flavors and colorful (LABELED! THANK YOU!) toppings. Along with that magic, they pushed it over the edge with their Sanrio promotion this summer...limited edition character spoons and cups? SIGN ME UP. I come here for a quick pick me up during work. Nothing beats frozen yogurt on a hot day. I prefer Yogurtland as opposed to Pinkberry because I like to fill it my cup based on how I'm feeling that day. It's also fun for the kids to let them choose what they want. They have a wide range of flavors, over 10 flavors. All the flavors are great; its all personal taste. They often have special limited time flavors. Plenty of toppings ranging from fruits (canned and fresh), to cookies, to mochi pieces, to syrups. The price is pretty decent. Plenty of parking and this place is never overly crowded. read more

Maybe it just happened to be the day I went, but the flavors I got at this location wasn't as great as other Yogurtland locations I've been to. I liked their mango and salted caramel flavor. However, their cookies and cream just did not satisfy me the way it used to. I'll give this location the benefit of the doubt and try again next time! read more

The best part about moving to Brea is that this Yogurtland location is literally down the street from my apartment! Every time I come here (which is quite often) this place is always popin with lots of people and loud music. So loud to the point where when I walked out to my car, I can still hear the music blasting! Besides that, the Yogurt here is so delicious. Yesterday when I was here.. (twice, hehe) I noticed that they have a new tart flavor. Pineapple! It's my new favorite. I like this particular location the best. It's fairly easy access off of Imperial, and parking is abundant. Plus this location is far more spacious than most other locations. The employees are always friendly, courteous, and helpful. There is always a good selection of different flavors, per usual. The location always looks very clean & tidy, but for some reason there is a very bad smell often. It's almost like B.O. but the smell is never near the employees, so I'm not sure where it is coming from. Luckily they have lots of outdoor seating, so you can escape the smell quickly. Hello, Kitty! What a nice little 4.5 star shop. Er, wait...this is a FroYo shop, isn't it? Don't worry, it's a common mistake.. What makes this place is their fresh selection of yogurt flavors like no other FroYo place has ever dreamed of. Sour Green Apple, Dragon/passion fruit, Dulce de Leche with Almond, and Chocolate Milkshake, to name but a few...I am smitten! (in case you were wondering, yes that last one is different from any chocolate frozen yogurt you've ever tried -- it tastes *exactly* like a chocolate milkshake. Now I am completely spoiled for any other chocolate yogurt!) This restuarant is clean, beautiful, and has plenty of seating indoors and out. Condiment selection is very good, only Cherry On Top has a more varied toppings bar. What a shame that it never seems busy! Also a shame that it's so exclusively girly that boys are a bit put off; indeed, I saw no males in there at all during our visit last week. Hopefully, they can stay in business despite scaring off the boys. Yogurtland is just shy of a five star rating only because their Plain Tart is a bit blah IMO.
