I hadn't been to Yogurtland in quite some time and have to say I really enjoyed their froyo. Service was fine, the store super clean with plenty of seating. Free strawberry water is a nice touch and I love that they added purees and sauces like condensed milk which I had on the fresh strawberry froyo with boba, excellent. Prices are fair, our cups were about $4 each. They offer new flavors every few weeks and keep some of their staples in constant rotation. Came here tonight with my cousins for some froyo run. As soon as we stepped in, one of the lady had a really unwelcoming look and seemed pissed while she was cleaning around the yogurt machines. I apologized in advance because I know how they just want to close because really, who wants to work til 11:30 on a Wednesday? Not me, definitely. The other lady who was not in uniform (or maybe she was just wearing a jacket) seemed to be in a hurry too. The yogurts run pretty fine but the main concern were the toppings. My cousins got m&ms and mini caramel cups. One said that the toppings tasted "rotten" and the other said the m&m's tasted like chemicals. I wasn't surprised because the last time I was here, a girl who had a nose piercing was spraying the sneeze shield with windex while the toppings were exposed! Quite shocking I must say. I had the red velvet cake batter, pistachio, and new york cheesecake yougurts today. They were really good, and I only had to pay $2.13. It's the perfect sport to go to on a hot day, today it was 91. And it's a few stores down from California Fish Grill, making it the perfect after lunch dessert. I did feel the selections were a little limited as compared to other Yogurtlands, but it was still pretty good, and clean inside. read more

I really like yogurt land. But I was disappointed with this location. Mainly for one reason, we arrived at around 11:15 (45 minutes before closing) and they already had ALL of the chairs stacked and put away, and were putting everything else away. We still went in and go yogurt (which honestly was really good....so good job there) but we had nowhere to sit. It was awkward for everyone in my group because we wanted to sit and talk and enjoy our yogurt, but we couldn't. It made the whole experience not nearly as good as it should have been. The yogurt was really good and so were the toppings. The boys working were really nice too. BUT the fact that I felt I was inconveniencing them or causing problems by coming 45 minutes before closing was pretty bad. I would say go for the yogurt, but they definitely need to teach the employees that even if it is late at night.. you can't close until you close! read more

The yogurt is good, and I like this location, but "Gloria" was literally texting behind the counter with a store full of people. I was a little dumbfounded that she had a customer standing RIGHT in front of her , and still didn't look up from her phone. She had no idea why the light ice cream is " light " either. Came here on a Monday evening to redeem a birthday reward. Got our yogurt and at the cash register, the girl at behind the counter points to a printout above our heads that their system was down so she's unable to redeem the reward. Maybe put the sign that your system is down at the entrance so customers are informed beforehand? Ok, fine, sometimes things are unavoidable but her flippant comment of "just go to another location" really put her over customer service (or lack thereof) over the top. Regardless, we paid for our froyo because we already got it. Asked for my receipt and was duly informed that she couldn't print me out a receipt. I don't like leaving negative reviews about customer service because we all make mistakes but this one really sucked. read more

I like Yogurtland, it isn't like Golden Spoon, (thankfully) and doesn't have a chalky aftertaste. But... some of the flavors they come up with sort of fall flat. Like they're rushing them to stores or something. A good example is the White Chocolate Pistachio. The white chocolate flavor completely drowns out the pistachio flavor. Bummer. And the toppings. Some stores have no stem-cherries, and some are stemmed cherries. I don't want a stem getting in my way of me inhaling it. I'll choke! read more

One of the worst customer service experiences with their employee, Tony, today. My son got a $20 gift card to Yogurtland for his birthday. We went one time and used $3 and some change. Today my sons were thrilled to go back and get some yogurt and have the pride of using their own gift card. We went through the line and it was about 7 dollars. Gave Tony the gift card, he swipes and hands it back telling me there's nothing on the card. I told him that's impossible, we just got it there should be 16 dollars on it. His response, "I swiped it 3 times, there's nothing on it." I told him that's impossible and he says, "don't know what to tell you". We leave the store without the yogurts, my boys are crying hysterically because he's telling them there's no money on their birthday card. I go out to the my car and check the balance on their website and it shows a balance of $16 and change. I go back in l, but my kids refuse to go in because they are upset the card was empty. Several minutes had passed so our original yogurts were thrown out. I show Tony the balance using their website and he says to let him try to enter it manually. What a surprise?! It worked and there was a balance. But now he's charged me for yogurts that were thrown out. - Never told him I wanted to the yogurts at this point but he charged me anyway. His response is that I can get "roughly" $7 in yogurt. Really?! We've been through all this and now I have to still pay, and be a great guesser about how many ounces are in the cup to make his original mistake right! I fill up the yogurts he weighs them and responds with a smart ass, "oh well, now it's $10 in yogurt". I told him "big deal, we are getting $2 in free yogurt." Sorry I wasn't a master at measuring the same number of ounces after dealing with this employee and his mistake and trying to console my kids. His response is telling me, "Just get out of here!" I took my yogurts and left. I can't believe the service by this individual. He made a mistake, left my kids in tears then proceeds to give me a hard time about the new yogurts being 4 total ounces more than they originally were. How about apologizing for the mistake and minimum and maybe not give me a hard time about the size of the cup now, or what a concept it would be to give them on the house. And yes, when he told me leave the store, I told him to F off. Maybe he should take off his huge headphones while working and actually care about the customers. Yogurtland is terrific! I wasn't too keen when I first visited them - I thought them too much like Pinkberry - however, the amount of flavours that Yogurtland has - and the fact that flavours 'rotate' in and out is great! Most of their frozen yogurt is very healthy, which is a great plus! My two favourite flavours are the plain tart (I usually jazz it up with some fresh fruit) or the guava pineapple tart (which I indulge and add some cookie dough to). Great for a hot summer's afternoon!! This location is particularly nice as there are two tables outside and one bench. Note - if you sit on the bench, you can mooch WiFi from nearby Jalapeno's or Lee's Sandwiches :-) read more

Super clean Yogurtland location - like their flavor and topping assortment! Tons of choices. BUT this place is stuck in old technology with their registers - one doesn't even work and the other one won't take card chips, only swipes, but their swiper DOESNT SWIPE! So every time I go to get a frozen yogurt, the employees try a million times (including wrapping my card in bags and pieces of paper???!) to swipe my card then hand it back and tell me it won't work. This first happened a month ago, I went back yesterday thinking SURELY the franchisees have gotten this fixed already because people aren't able to pay for their product and low and behold, they haven't. The employees are told they'll get a new register "soon." Well, now you lost a customer because I can't pay for your frozen yogurt due to your systems and you're losing out on money because you can't seem to get updated normal technology. read more

I must be a glutton for punishment or I simply have memory problems or I simply gave into the holidays. I stated in a previous review that I was over the funky flavors (i.e. espresso float, red velvet cake, pumpkin etc.) as they quickly get old after a couple of spoonfuls. And before entering the store I really did have this in mind. Regardless, I went against my instincts and chose coconut, pumpkin and eggnog yogurts. Additionally, I sampled some others. The problem with Yogurtland is that they focus on the odd flavors and neglect the natural fruit flavors too often. Yogurt is something that is best when fruit is the focus, not eggnog or pumpkin. As a result, I will be sticking with the fruit-based yogurt flavors which when icy vs. creamy, taste much healthier. If you enjoy fruit-based yogurt other sellers like Tutti Frutti do a much better job and carry more flavors in this genre. That being said, I did enjoy a couple of spoonfuls of COCONUT before wanting to huck it in the trash. Their PISTACHIO really isn't very good at all. When I'm craving "other" (non-fruit) flavors but want something slightly more healthy than ice cream I will go for gelato and veto the idea of satisfying this craving at a yogurt hole. read more

I posted about it last week, but couldn't remember the name of the flavor. It's called Taro, and it's a Japanese root that's supposed to be like a sweet potato. I visited this location with my toddler and proceeded to pay. After inserting my AmEx, I was told by the employee on shift that they were unable to accept AmEx due to a system update and that "this always happens when they go through an update". I let him know that I did not have any other cards on me and he basically said there's nothing he could do because the system couldn't accept AmEx at the time. I asked if I could go back tomorrow to pay and he said no. I asked if he would let my toddler take his frozen yogurt and he said no. He was not even apologetic or willing to take responsibility for the negative impact his system update had on their ability to accept a commonly accepted payment method. This was the worst customer service experience and needless to say, my toddler left in tears. I will never visit this location again. read more

Very nice place and location. My family like to get ice creams from here. The not so good part is that the strawberries are always mixed, (the mix is old, fresh, mushy, squished strawberries ) so you have to "select" the onces that look good... This location on El Toro is clean and well staffed. There's something to be said about self-serve fro-yo: you can try a bit of everything and leave satisfied. I will try different flavors to suit my tastes and I'll top my yogurt with fresh fruit, nuts, and some popping boba to boot. There are so many flavors here but I like the tart ones the best. Plain tart is my favorite partly because it's not as sweet and I can doctor it up with toppings. I did try the mango-coconut tart, chocolate, taro, and strawberry tart flavors too. I used my Yelp Elite Yogurtland rewards card I received from a previous event and was able to get my concoction for free! It pays to be Yelp Elite! Very clean store with friendly staff! I don't go to Yogurtland very often, but today was such a scorcher and the thought of cold froyo was hard to pass up. I got cookies and cream, cinnamon graham cracker, devil's food cupcake batter, chocolate mint cookies and then sprinkled on some mini M&M's. I had a major chocolate craving, as you can probably tell!! I can't eat too much of it at once though so mine always ends up being less than $2.00. Great location with ample parking. Everyone knows Yogurtland is THE best place to go for FroYo! They just recently opened up 3-4 weeks ago and looks like they made the right choice because it's getting good business! Other Yogurtland spots are in super crowded areas so it's nice to be able to park and go in a few minutes. Of course my favorite Yogurtland in the fleet... -3 minutes from my house -Always clean -Always fully stocked -Plenty of parking -Plenty of seating in surrounding areas The employees are all so friendly and never scoff at me when I b-line to the register for 2/3 sample cups to taste all the fabulous offerings before committing to . They have about 10 machines and with 2 flavors per machine (as well as the option to swirl) there is always a variety of natural fruit flavors and rich chocolatey ones to choose from... possibilities are practically endless! The staple flavors are vanilla, strawberry, cheesecake, chocolate, and tart. The amazing variety I have encountered are as follows: peanut butter, caramel mocha, pistachio, gram cracker, cinnamon, cafe latte, grapefruit, taro, blueberry, gosh there are so many amazing offerings and they are constantly changing that I suggest you just call ahead or go in and see for yourself! Also, for the lactose intolerant there are usually 1-2 fruit sorbets. WIN-WIN! The topping bar is what dreams are made of... If I have a fruity yogurt theme there are chunks of mango, kiwi, strawberry, bananas, blueberries, etc to accompany or if I am on the road to chocolate heaven there are many crumpled candies, granola, cheesecake bites, gram cracker crumbs, and various delicious syrups to indulge in. The fruit at this location is always disgusting! It's so old. The health departments needs to be called it's that bad. I tried it last week and then came back again and it's still horrible, old fruit. This seems common at more Yogurtland locations.
