This will be the death of me. Before I might have gotten yogurt once every two weeks or so, but this being so much closer to my home, I find myself obsessively returning a few times a week. They opened not too long ago, it's very clean, and the staff are super friendly. As soon as you step in the door you are happily greeted, and offered sample cups. I feel like while each Yogurtland is almsot the same, they are all like snowflakes; each unique in their own way. This one had some really choice flavors, and the perfect consistency. I first went to this place with my wife with a coupon. I have been to a few locations since then and this one was one of the better ones I went to. It is pretty clean and close by and most of the flavors I wanted. My wife liked it alot as well. There was one I do not remember that was bigger and had many more flavors, and I liked that alot but this location was still pretty good on the flavor amount. After yelps expedition to Yogurtland I got to know about their Flavor Quest event. From March to May they are bringing flavors from all over the world. I was waiting to try their southern flavor - Banana pudding and from India - Alphonso Mango tart. Both were yummylicious! Other flavors that I sampled were churro, Madagascar vanilla. Yogurtland is my favorite place pretty much ever. I like this location because its like 3 seconds away from my house and I come about 3 or more times a week. The owners are pretty awesome here. My go-to flavor is usually tart with fruit (strawberries and blueberries) and some carob chips and almonds. At 30 cents an ounce how can you really go wrong here? Even if they have a little side conversation going between one another the customers either sample cups or ready to purchase and they are all over it. I'm sure the history of yogurt is long and storied, but I'm positive Yogurtland is the culmination of its evolution. The store is always bright and clean, the wait staff doesn't look terribly upset, and the yogurt is awesome. And by awesome I mean, flavorful, quasi-healthy, and relatively cheap. I prefer fruitier yogurts, and rarely does Yogurtland have less than 4 fruit flavors. The toppings are diverse and well-stocked, and I thoroughly enjoy picking my fate in yogurt with them. If I worked for marketing at Yogurtland, I would make a commercial talking about the billions of possible combinations of yogurt favors and toppings. But that's kind of lame, which explains why I don't work in marketing. read more

I'm a huge dessert fan, more particularly ice cream. When I first moved to this area this used to be a Cold Stone (which was far too expensive for just ice cream and candy if you ask me!). When they put in the YogurtLand here, I had never had it before. I was really excited to try it. I like to get a large cup and just fill it with a lot of fun flavors. I love that it's always a mixed bag. Have no fear, there is always something for everyone. My husband loves the mango. I recently fell in love with the devil's food cake flavor. It sort of reminds me of chocolate pudding. It's so yummy. The store is clean and the staff is always so polite. Even when the place is packed, it's still a fun atmosphere. read more

Unfortunately, my experience here was shocking. My children and I were front of the line. The cashier by be name of Hailey M. saw us, first in line , yet moved away from the register we were standing closest to and proceeded to call the couple behind us. One of the customer let the cashier know we were (obviously) next but she replied by waving her hand and informing HER "someone else will ring them up". No one ever came. During the transaction me and the couple looked at each other and without saying a word, expressed our confusion and concern. After that transaction was completed the cashier pretended to jot some stuff down, looked up and casually said "oh I can ring you up now". Absolutely disheartening to experience such actions. One of our favorite spots. Why? I hate to think that my skin color was the reason for such treatment. I did approach Hailey about what transpired and instead of apologizing she became defensive. The service here is fine (you don't really need much to be honest). But it's the yogurt that really disgusts me. I was first introduced to the frozen yogurt craze when Pinkberry exploded on the scene in LA. There was a reason that was so popular and so many knock off shops began popping up. Their yogurt is real, pure, cold yogurt! I'm sure there are some additives in it, but nothing compared to what must be saturating Yogurtland's yogurt. It's way too sweet and rich and makes you feel like you might as well be eating ice cream. At least with real frozen yogurt, you don't feel badly about yourself, but this crap makes my body feel awful afterwards. Stay far away from it! Yuck! Wow Yogurtland, you're awesome! Bright beautiful pink and green colors just pop out when you enter the door. Pay by the ounce which is a great deal, because you self-serve yourself whatever you want and you do it yourself. It's like a trip to the candy store except with YOGURT!! Lots of delicious flavors available, and a nice guy passing out sample cups to our group of 14! I came here with all my sisters, cousins, my mom and aunt and my nieces and nephews. Sorry for the little screamers, everyone fell in love with samples! The kids definitely had a ball of fun trying all the possible flavors for their afternoon treat. Vanilla, Artic Vanilla, Pistachio, NY Cheesecake, Peanut Butter, Double Cookies & Cream...just to name a few. The kids eyeballs were full of glee. Everyone did manage to get their own bowls and picking toppings was just as exciting. Lots of fresh fruits, nuts, candy galore-ness all within an arms length. Gummy bears, cookie crumbs, graham crackers...man I think you were missing brownies and that would have been fantastic with the cheesecake yogurt. I didn't really like the lemonade & passion fruit tart - it was really tartful and not my cup of tea. But that's what a sample is for, and I picked a great flavor - pistachio with graham cracker crumbs with little cheesecake bites. HEAVENLY!!! What sets this yogurt land apart from all the rest? -Most of their flavors are gluten free. the customer service is great. I always come around lunch time and the owner is always there. She's friendly and very helpful... offers sample cups and is very energetic. The place is in this plaza with a lot of other restaurants so this areas gets really busy. The place is clean with a lot of good flavors to choose from. I love this Yogurtland in Lake Forest! The service is always friendly and they are happy to see you when you come in. Yogurt makes everyone happy and seeing a smiling face when you walk in helps! It's super clean and the yogurt is at a perfect temperature that when you dispense it comes out perfectly. I've been to other yogurt places where you touch the lever and the watery yogurt comes out, pet peeve of mine, seriously! The only reason I'm not giving a 5 is because the person that made my experience wasn't the one originally helping me. Didn't give a 3 because she made the experience that much better. Today was my first time into this location and the shift leader Sarah was nice and very attentive. I had several questions for my first time experience that the new employee couldn't answer and every time I asked her a question her response was "Huh" and I had to raise my voice as if I was yelling to ask a question. I come in here at least once a week so that should tell you something. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is the prices aren't the absolute lowest around. The staff is extremely friendly and the yogurt is great. They always have tons of unique toppings and are still the only yogurt chain I've seen with red beans as a topping.They've recently added dragonfruit topping which is amazing. One of my only complaints is they change their flavors all the time. They'll come out with some amazing flavor that I get addicted to and then change it to a new one two weeks later. I've been to this location several times. Half of the time the attitudes of all the employes are welcoming but the other half of the times I have gone there has been some incident at this location. Nothing against the employees at this location but some of them, whom I'll not name out of fairness to their opinions, lives and jobs, act like they know everything and own the place only to show they don't understand the Real Rewards system which has been around for years despite switching to mobile app just last summer. Other times they make a big deal over coupons claiming them invalid making the customer feel like they have to have verbal proof of codes. I love the yogurt in yogurt land and some of the employees in this location so for those reasons I can't score this location less than 50% but I think it needs lots of improvements before I could hive it a B or an A.
