This is a very customers' friendly place. We had retirees meet-up at this place once in while, and always being greeted warmly. Food price was very comparable for the area because of its beautiful sea side scenery. Outdoor parking only and will accommodate many cars. Our server was very attentive and food was delicious! I will definitely recommend this place for any occasion!

How can you not have a great time here? It's by the sea & there's a great HH. They have my fav margies in the county! The veggies tostada size has changed but it's still really filling and delicious. Service is great. I love the salad bar with the roasted jalapeños. :3

Their food is AMAZING, I tried their soft tacos with carne del pastor and guacamole and it was super delicious. Their service it's super good, I'm definitely gonna start going to this restaurant a lot mor

My family and I had a great time. We come here a few times a year for many years now and it's always beautiful and clean. We have never had any problems with any staff in fact our servers have been nothing but kind and helpful. I had the vegetable fajitas and they were amazing!

We had an amazing experience here. The hostess, Clover, gave us an amazing seat. Great food and location. The view even after sundown is nice.

The service is always great. The food it kid of depends of what you order. My favorite thing on the menu is the bacon and mushroom quesadilla. The fajitas are always good too. The chicken taquitos are a good option as well. The drinks are good. The Mexican Lollipop is so good. The chamoy margarita is also really good. Try to get a seat at the patio so you can enjoy a view of the boats.

It was a long day at work, so I stopped at Yolanda's for a drink. I sat at the bar with my cocktail. A gentleman sat down next to me needs and he was served... I asked the bartender what just happened because they had not said anything more than hello. He laughed and the lady next to him laughed, and everybody says she already knows what all of us drink. My Karen joined me and sat down. I asked a bartender Do you know what she drinks... She says she'll have the Chardonnay. Great Carnitas tacos and Service from Kersey

Ambiance 10/10 Large restaurant, inside and out there's great seating. The service is excellent and the food comes out quickly! Their salads and soups are fantastic. Fish tacos 10/10 Chicken enchiladas were just ok, I would rate them 7/10 just lacking flavor Their chile rellano and specials were all amazing. Enjoyed the margarita flight, and their strawberry lemonade! Sitting outside by the water offers great views. Well priced!

This Yolanda's location is my favorite of them all hands down. You can't beat the beautiful views of the harbor and the patio has the best views out of all of their locations. Yolanda's is my go to for margaritas and albondigas. I know this spot gets some criticism for not being truly authentic or selling out to a white demographic but I'm glad the local continues to support and that despite some of the feedback on the kind of Mexican food they are whipping up, it's a popular place that's stood the test of time. It's hard for mom and pop businesses to make it nowadays but the fact that they have multiple locations and have been around as long as I've lived in the 805 shows that they are doing something right. The ambiance and decor at Yolanda's, specific to this location is a 5/5. I love the patio as I've already raved on about but the inside here is cute too! I like the paintings and wall art. Clean bathrooms and a spacious dining area. Staff here are always very friendly. Service can be hit or miss, more often than not the service is really good but once in a blue moon we'll get a slow server. Probably the biggest factor to service is how busy they get which is why I like to come at opening or weekdays. Happy hour here is a solid menu and overall their cocktail menu is diverse and has really tasty looking drinks. For cocktails you've got to always go with their margaritas on the rocks. I love their Margarita flavors - especially the watermelon, guava, prickly pear, Midori, and cucumber. Also got to love a menu that has Tecate as a beer option. Woohoooo. For food I'll always order an albondigas and it's the best I've had anywhere in the 805 or the 626. I dream of this soup and am lucky to have multiple locations to get it.

Pretty much the only place that haven't tried in Oxnard city...until yesterday. Let's start with the chips and salsa...always a good indicator of things to come. Wasn't the best, but far from bad. The chips were in one of those steel machines to keep warm, they were thin, crispy, and light salt, the way ALL tortilla chips should be. But they were a bit oily only negative. The salsa was cantina style seemed homemade, was good, zero spice/mild. (B+) Combo fajitas (friend order) it was a good tasting with a terrific plate of guac, pico, refried beans, and shredded cheese. Heck, you couldve made a meal from just the side plate wrap em up call it a veggie fajita party. Very filing and good (A-) Other friends had carne asada burrito, and a steak plate, both happy so assuming they are good. Service was outstanding by several individuals; checking in on order, refilling drinks, cleaning table, all workers are terrific and polite. I was ready for the 5-star goldenrod Neptune-trident throwdown, but my order, the torta (D-) was a complete trainwreck. Al pastor and a torta; took a double-jeopardy style gamble and crapped out, snake eyes big time. The bread was abysmal/ not fresh, the al pastor was ice cold and not memorable, meat fused to a cold hardened melted gooey cheese; send it back, replaced with carne asada, still came back cold (just don't get it.) so that item alone dragged it down a star. I was so full from the chips and salsa, sampling friends' food, and the side order of clam chowder (yes, in a Mex restaurant a first for me, was smoky and quite good too! (A-) that I just picked off some of the cold beef and ate that without the bread. Would I come back? Well, when seaside, I usually crave seafood like a nice fish n chips or something, but if I am ever craving Mex, will bring wife and son. Just will not touch the torta with a diez-foot pole amigo. They also have a salsa bar upon entrance which I completely forgot to pound once food came, shame on me once.

An excellent Mexican restaurant. We had a tostada and an avocado omelette. Everything was amazing and the service was as well. In addition, the view from the outdoor patio is unbelievable!

Steak quesadilla - appetizer is plenty big for a meal! $21 is a bit steep but packed with tender steak

With that being said, I wanted to try it out. This was about 2 years ago prior to this visit I had today at this location. I jotted the note down after overhearing him talking about it while watching Netflix. When arriving, the environment outside is run down, old fashioned and in the scary graffiti, homeless surrounding. Parking is difficult to find, but we got lucky me and a colleague. The place is on a road side where parking it located a few streets between about 100 feet away. The surrounding had graffiti and loitering which was unpleasant and I would imagine it is worse at night, be careful here! Inside, a wonderful aroma excites you as you enter the restaurant. Booths all around and hard uncomfortable seats. A lot of people came here today on Sunday afternoon. Customer service was excellent, the guy at the front was very chill, polite and acted as if I was his homie, buddy or good friend. This is what I like. I ordered the birria of course, a meat drenched in a bunch of flavors for days to keep the meat juicy, tender and moist. The variations ordered were three tacos plate with birria, onions cilantro and a consome that was massive. This meal was $17. The other order was a four piece birria quesadilla that was absolutely delightful, succulent and had a delicious hunger craving aroma and flavor that any starving or hungry person would die for! This plate was $14. The tacos did come with beans and rice. Between the two dishes the birria quesadilla was my favorite however, the tacos tasted better. The tortilla of the tacos was fresh and made with love. The value was regular, something I expected compared to taco trucks and side vendors of Mexican food. This place is extraordinary. I felt guilty after consumption because it was fatty, juicy and everything you would want in a pleasurable meal, but it was heavy on the calories and filling. It was a messy meal, I added salsas, more seasoning from the condiments bar. There were so many different sauces and fillings like lemon etc. to balance the flavors of the birria. The console incuded was an added kick that I loved. Definitely one of the best if not the best birria I ever had and I highly recommend this place if you like Mexican cuisine at its finest. An absolute hidden treasure that you need to try! I'll come back after a month of consistent cardio and strength training to burn enough fat and make room for another appetite that soothes my brain cells.

The woman at the counter did speak English so that's always feels more comfortable, especially if you have any special requests. The meat was tender and tasted like it was slow cooked. The tortilla is not anything special, but all the fillings (rice, beans) were good. There is larger rice than beans ratio, but they give plenty of meat protein. I have been here several times in the past. I remember totally ratchet seating areas, where there were large holes in the floor. There seems to be some updates and the seating area is cleaned up (but I've only done takeout).
