Coffee is still phenomenal and the customer service remains through the roof. Since my last review, this place has gotten very busy and popular and thus the overall experience here has changed. So, I wanted to update this. In terms of studying, seating is pretty limited now. It's best to come earlier in the day to have some place to sit. Not much for outlets in the place and I believe there's only 1 in the outdoor seating area. Better come with a portable charger and your devices fully charged if you plan on staying a while. But the BIGGEST gripe I have is the WI-FI. As I stated before it's pretty spotty to begin with but since the boost in popularity it's been ABYSMAL. I usually don't need internet access for the type of work I do but when I do the WI-FI is basically useless. I love this place but for the most part I have to go somewhere else because I need to do work with a decent internet connection. I'd love to go back to being a regular here but until the WI-FI is improved I have to resort to only coming here if I know for sure I won't need to use it. read more

I finally came here after hearing so much about it from friends and I'm so glad I listened. I got lattes with lavender and oat milk for my sister and I ($12 total) and they were perfect. The lavender is just strong enough and the oat milk made the drinks the perfect creamy consistency. I can't believe it took me so long to write this review. I came in on Friday, February 11th 2022. That morning, I got a call from my grandpa's doctor in the ICU telling me I needed to come in because my grandpa was dying. My brother and I were on the way to the hospital but he needed coffee first before going in, so he asked me to stop by Yonder and also asked me to go inside to get his coffee. I walked in, was next in line to order, and all of a sudden - I don't know what came over me, but I broke down in front of the baristas. I sobbed uncontrollably for minutes. I think in that moment, it really hit me that I was going to lose my grandpa (the man who raised me) forever. One of the baristas came over and hugged me, hard, and I broke down even more. She gave me the hug I never knew I needed. The other barista prepared my brother's coffee and told me it was on the house. I can't even begin to describe the appreciation (and shock) I felt after experiencing such kindness and empathy from these remarkable human beings. Thank you, Yonder, for your delicious coffee and your amazing baristas. My grandpa passed away shortly after we got to hospital, which made the day incredibly sad for me and my family, but your love and compassion truly made an everlasting impact on me. Thank you again. Went inside this small place and was immediately taken by the atmosphere in the place, it's very chill and bright so you won't be squinting or straining your eyes when working inside. I got a latte with vanilla syrup, which was really good, and the woman making the coffee was quick and friendly. The only downside - and it's due to the time I went- space is limited here, and considering that there is a college near here many people sitting were working on homework or business. So if you want to find a space to sit come earlier than you intended or snag a seat as soon as possible. read more

I just walked in for a quick drink and received the warmest welcome! I was pleasantly surprised to see how they renovated the place. As an avid perks customer, I fell in love with the atmosphere of this spot and was happy to see the exterior revamped (Dog Friendly!!) and the interior opened up to respect COVID guidelines. FINALLY a good coffee shop nearby. got the lavender latte and it's extremely delicious -- the lavender syrup (i saw that they replied to a review here saying they make it in house) is a rich caramel-y flavor coupled with the light floral taste of the lavender. i'm in love and will definitely be a regular. service was great, the two people working there were really sweet. cute spot -- definitely a hipster vibe. i took it to go but there's a really nice seating area outside where a couple of people were reading/doing work! tables seemed well-spaced enough to be COVID safe, and precautions are also taken inside as well (plastic barrier between customer + cashier, 6ft stickers on the floor, etc). read more

Yonder Coffee is owned by a sister who enjoys serving coffee to her customers. Her other sister cuts hair right in the same plaza (ig: Sharaleahmade.) Whenever I go to a coffee store, I always try to get my fav, Lavender Iced Latte! The coffee is strong with a hint of lavender. When it comes to coffee, I look for the strength in coffee/flavor. Heard very good things about Yonder through their coffee cart business, and excited that they have a cafe open as well now, and right around the corner from my house, which is an area lacking good specialty coffee. I ordered their cappuccino, espresso, and lavender latte, and every drink was excellent. Their lavender syrup is made in house, which makes a huge difference in drink quality. Their espresso shots alone are great too on their own merit. Service is extremely courteous, thoughtful and quick, and the owners are truly kind people who care much about the customer experience and satisfaction. Randomly found this place on yelp and decided to try it! If you've never been there it's actually kinda difficult to find. It's in the Albertsons parking lot on the left side of it in the corner. There is no sign on the building but they have a pop up sign on the ground. It was around 5pm when we got there and there were a bunch of people inside. There was no line but it took over 5 mins for the girl in the front to even acknowledge us. She didn't even say anything she just started to look at us, so I assumed she was ready to take our order. Since it was the afternoon I wanted a decaf coffee drink. So I asked her about their decaf options and she told me they have decaf cold brew. They don't have decaf coffee beans so they can't make any of the specialty drinks like lattes, cappuccinos, etc. The only decaf drink they have is a cold brew. So I asked if they could add milk and vanilla flavor to it cause I really wanted a latte. The cold brew was actually pretty good. I just really wish they could make other drinks with decaf beans cause as of now they only have one option. I did try my sisters drink and she ordered the vanilla latte with sea salt cold foam on top. It was heavenly! I would come back since the coffee was good but I think they need to work on their customer service a bit. read more

I really wanted to like Yonder Coffee. I'm a local and wanted to support this local business. It has cute decor and a nice outdoor patio out back. My two issues were the service and the coffee and pastries. First, the gentleman at the register is not friendly. He mumbles and you can barely hear him. I've been there twice and both times I had a similar experience. Doesn't make eye contact. Isn't welcoming. Next, the coffee and pastries. The barista overly-sweetens the drinks and burns the espresso. I've had two different croissants and even though they were supposed to be savory, they tasted sweet. The drinks are great, the pastries are delicious, the vibe is dope, and the people are friendly.
