I got to try many dishes but i ordered for myself the Green tea Ramen, it was actually really good? i love green tea, but i couldnt really see the point of it, the ramen did over power the tea flavor, but you could tell it was there? I got to try the kimchi pancake; bibimbap and something else. All korean staples of course and they were executed to perfection. Each dish was the right flavor. oh yeah back to my ramen lol. I'm sure its from a bag and they just added the toppings and tea bag, which is fine, the meat was cooked well. The interior of this restaurant is truly bizarre. The fake balconies and Spanish tile roof give the impression that it was once a Mexican restaurant but they only had the money to paint the entire interior black. Oh well, we told the 3-year-old in our party that it was a Halloween restaurant. On to the food...nothing to complain about. We enjoyed various dishes. Yori is amazing. And the Asian fusion food they serve is immaculate. Loved the moody ambiance which was very unique and surprising for being where it is located. The restaurant is lit up with fake trees emitting lights from their "leaves", the walls displayed false balconies, and the seating and spacing of the entire place felt like an eatery in East Asia. Our waitress was kind in recommending us the popular dishes and she seemed like the only staff other than the chef in the back for this quaint spot. There was only one other patty there upon entering and we visited the upstairs area while waiting on our food and it also was quite similar in atmosphere with stringing lights, dim lighting, and decor. My grandma is Japanese/Korean and approves. Love all their small banchan sides. I could eat a few of their savory pancakes but my friend and I split one as an appetizer while we decided. I've had this place bookmarked for a while and finally got the chance to try it for dinner recently. Boy, am I glad I did! First of all, I am in love with the decor! The walls are black and are covered with cherry blossom designs. It's a Japanese/Korean fusion restaurant. The dark interior gives it that romantic feel but not too dark where you'll have to squint to look at your date;-) There's a pretty lit tree in the middle of the bottom floor. Oh yes, there's an open spaced second floor dining area that I would definitely consider for events and special occasion dinners. We ordered the grilled bossam which I had been looking forward to trying based on the Yelp pics and it did not disappoint. The meat was grilled and had a nice smokey flavor. We also ordered the kim chi fried rice which was very flavorful. The egg on top was perfect! Banchans were good though all a bit on the sweet side. I was looking forward to coming back as I was leaving the restaurant! Every few months, I'll search Yelp to see what new ethnic restaurants have popped up (have been hoping for more Korean, Indian, and Vietnamese near me). To my great surprise, Yori showed up my screen! Korean and Japanese?! Let's give them a try. If I remember correctly, this is what I ordered: Bulgolgi. Delish. Good quality meat, and tastes as good as any other bulgolgi I've had. BUT!! This was THE MOST expensive bulgolgi I've ever purchased!!! Normally when I've eaten Korean (Houston, Seattle, Cali, Utah), we'll order at least 2-3 different meats. But the prices of ALL the meats caused me to just try the one. (Better to see how one tastes before spending that much dough on lots). Tofu Soup. Pretty good. Priced well. Kimchi Fried Rice. Priced fine. Taste was OKAY. And not a huge fan of places that throw in (what looks like) a bag of frozen mixed vegetables (I've mentioned that in other reviews for places around town...must be something about Fort Worth??). hardly any kimchee in it. Seafood "pancake". Great. Priced fine. (Sorry, looks like my review is focusing more on the negs than the positives). Since they ARE an Asian fusion, can't judge them too harshly on just their Korean food (or for not offering other Korean favorites like Jop Chae!!). But for their price point and Kimchee Fried Rice, I give them 4 stars. Everything else was great tho. Will have to try their ramen sometime and see how it compares. read more

I order the chicken katsu with steamed rice for my kiddos. I love everything on the menu! The ramen is BOMB!! He offered an array of sides to sample -- all of which were very tasty -- from the spicy cucumber salad to the cabbage kimchi, broccoli with spicy mayo and the lovely pasta salad. I had the spicy seafood tofu soup, which was a smidge too hot for my taste (will order it milder next time) but very flavorful and fresh. Absolutely one of the cutest restaurants I have been to in awhile. The restaurant is quaint but nicely decorated and clean. My kids got a kick out of the wall set up like a photo both complete with photo props. I know they flooded their Instagram & Snap Chat accounts with selfies they took. The restaurant is located in a small shopping center with ample parking. We went for a late lunch on a Saturday. The menu is mainly family style where you order a few main dishes and share those along with traditional Korean pickled veggies. We ordered the family meal that included 4 different meats, KalBi, Spicy Pork Bulgogi, Beef bulgogi, and Pork Belly. We loved it. My personal favorites were the Kalbi and spicy pork. It also came with an egg dish and a Korean soup. All were delicious. It is pricey for lunch but in line with many other authentic Korean restaurants that we have visited. Will be back. read more

Went there for an early dinner, and it was not crowded, there were 4 staff up front, we were seated promptly, but only had 2 menus for the table. Took way too long for someone to come hand us more menus. Then bring our drinks and take our order. Staff was more preoccupied with talking with each other than providing good service. 4 of 5 meals came out quickly. They however did not bring any silverware or chopsticks to eat with. The last dish didn't come out until we flagged down the waitress. And then, still took just as long as the first dishes did. I suspect it was forgotten at some point. I got excited with a Korean place near my house. However, this place just does not make the mark. I ordered dol sot bi bimp bop - a rice dish with bulgogi and veggies that comes in a hot clay pot. I have never seen anyone put lettuce in this dish. To get veggies you had to pay extra. And the veggies were American style. Seriously the weirdest dish ever. My son and husband ordered the chop chae. This is a rice noodle dish with beef and veggies. Now this dish was good. A bit on the peppery side, but good. I was looking forward to a traditional Korean barely tea. They said they were out. My mom said she came her a few months ago and they did not have it then either. The side dishes were strange. A few traditional ones and then some bizarre fusion ones. The service was mediocre. I hate it when the server brings your food and no utensils and you wait for 5 min before you get your utensils. Came in the other day with a friend CRAVING korean food and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. We started off with the spicy gyoza as appetizers, it was nice and crispy with a kick to it, not filling but perfect while waiting for your main entree. As my main meal I ordered the spicy soft tofu soup and it was also ridiculously good. Definitely satisfied my craving for a savory spicy soup! Tasted amazing when you mix the rice into the soup. I've had Yori three times but this time I'm somewhat disappointed. I always get the same thing , katsu ramen and gyoza, it has always been so so yummy but this time it was a little different. I placed an online order as I couldn't dine in today and the flavor of the ramen seemed different , not as flavorful or really the flavor it remember it being. Granted my noodles and toppings were separated from the broth it may have been the reason for the lack of flavor. I would recommend coming here and dining in, however I don't recommend ordering online as it seems to decrease in the flavor.. I would say today's meal wasn't worth the $23. Finally something ethnic and different in the mid cities area! This place is serving up some tasty Korean & Asian dishes with a lot of variety. I very much enjoyed my chicken lettuce wraps that were marinated in some kind of deliciousness with sweet sauce on the side. I also enjoyed their crispy spring rolls with the marinated veggies inside. They give huge portions and the appetizer lettuce wraps easily double as a meal for lunch. So happy we found this little gem so close to home. Not many Korean places close to home and when you are one of the few it's amazing to have good food.
