My truck is on a 12-inch lift with 42-inch tires, which basically means it's less of a truck and more of a mobile observation tower. Small children look at it the way people look at monster trucks at a county fair. Most oil change places take one look at it and suddenly say things like "our lift is down" or "we don't service... aircraft carriers." Not these guys. They walked out, looked up at the truck like they were inspecting a skyscraper, nodded, and got to work like it was a completely normal Tuesday. One of the techs climbed up there like a Navy SEAL scaling a building. Next thing I know, oil change done, no drama, no weird upsells, and nobody needed a ladder from Home Depot. Truck runs great, still sits high enough to change the weather pattern in Glendale, and I'll definitely be coming back. 10/10. If your truck is ridiculously tall and slightly irresponsible like mine, these are your people.

Well I will never go back to Jiffy Lube!! As soon as I pulled up to Glendale Lube I was greeted by a gentleman to park and asked if I was there for an oil change and he said it would be about 15 min. Wait. He wasn't lying either. Two cars in front of me and they got them finished in 15 min. They called me to pull my van up and Maria was so kind and said they'd get everything done in 15 min. I couldn't believe how fast they were. So professional and kind. I was even able to bring my own oil and filter and they just did the work. The charge was way less than I'm used to. So I will definitely be back and I will tell everyone to come here to get their oil changed.

I said the guy I spoke to yesterday told me $ 36.00. He said $ 79.00 = 36.00 + 33.00 valve stem and balance. I have two remaining tires on the car under their warranty once they are done I will never go back. Absolutely horrible place. Save yourself the misery buy your tires anywhere else.

Buddy Paint's estimate was about 20% higher, but I still decided to go with Buddy's because of the 5-Year material & labor warranty (the other company did not offer any warranty) and the feedback from the customer I spoke to. I also felt like Robert would take care of us. The crew was friendly and efficient. They prepped the home well. Robert was responsive when we told him of a few spots that needed extra attention. There was one issue (accidental damage) that I wish would have been proactively handled. But Robert worked with me to resolve to our satisfaction. Overall, we love the new look of of our home. Our neighbors complimented the work. The crew did an excellent job and had great attention to detail. Robert was a great with communication and follow through. When I questioned why I see that it's recommended online he says that dealers will recommend this service all day but if you check the Toyota maintenance manual it says you don't need it. Man! I haven't even been to this shop yet and I'm already getting a good feeling about this place. It's a bit more expensive for an oil change than other places that have quoted me, but I like that they use factory parts including Toyota oil filters. Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

I took it in to a place AAA recommended in downtown LA and explain the issue. They told me I needed a new timing chain along with a whole bunch of other stuff and quotes me $4800 for it. This was preceded with a lot of scare tactics on what will happen if I don't have the work done, which came across as very used car salesman-ish. When I ran the quote through ChatGPT I was told they were charging me dealership pricing for an independent mechanic for that type of work in LA. So I brought the truck here to Speedway where I had Minor worked done before and had a good experience. They told me my bearings need to be replaced and did the work for lesson than a quarter of the price I was quoted at the other mechanic. Work was finished in a day and the truck has been running perfectly since then. Had I spent to 4800 at the place it wouldn't have even resolved the issue, which means I would've had to come out of the pocket even more after the initial work was done. Obviously a truck of this age is gonna have some problems and when they inevitably happen again I will be back here at Speedway to take care of them. Highly recommend this place for integrity, quality, efficiency and fair pricing.

Once in a long while you find an auto repair shop with high expertise, an understanding of customers needs and reasonable rates. This is it! I have used them a couple of times for emergency work and Heno never fails to provide excellent service. Hano and his crew have done honest and thorough repair work and diagnositic testing (with the results clearly explained) on both our 2008 Subaru and our 2014 Prius. Both cars have lots of miles open them, and their own issues that are unique to the make/model. All the work performed has held up well. There was never any up-selling pressure, like I'd experienced in other shops in the past. Friendly front office staff. An honest and capable shop. All good! Highly recommended. read more

I have filed a complaint with BBB, filed an affidavit to recover funds with my bank because this shop is a complete scam and a rip off! A little background: I bought a 1970's Mercedes. When I bought the car, I test drove it and It worked well for its age. One thing I noticed was the brakes, they were in terrible condition. I brought my car in to have the brakes repaired and asked Roubik (the shop's owner) - to check out the engine in case I needed to address any issues prior to my driving the car on the streets. I was told my brake booster needed to be replaced. I advised the owner to proceed with the work after he quoted me $X,XXX range for the work. I get a call back a few days later, saying the car is ready. I pick up the car, test drive it for a block, and it makes a loud noise, and is dragging terribly. I bring it right back, Roubik checks the car, and there are ZERO fluids in the car. They drained the fluids and did not replace them. WHO DOES THIS!!!? I realize at this point, that I may be in for some trouble, but I have paid for the service by now and decide, people/businesses deserve a second chance. In the words of Charlie Murphy, "WRONG." After he fills up the necessary fluids in the engine and transmission (in front of me as he scolds his employees in Farsi), I take it on a spin and the car Draaaaags, not moving past 20 mph. I immediately assume it is the engine or transmission. However, I am not a mechanic who runs a car repair business so I can certainly make stupid mistakes like this. I would not expect a business owner of a car repair shop to do this however. I digress... I return the car as there is no way for me to drive it. He suggests for me to leave it to be "checked out". I was pressed for time and advised him I wanted my car repairs completed before 7/1/14. I get a call back end of June, "your car is ready". I once again pick it up. I drive the car home and it does the SAME THING. I tow the car back to them the next morning, realizing I will not have my car repaired by July 1. I leave the car at shop for them to repair while I am gone. I return 2 weeks later, and the car has not moved an inch. I am told I was not expected to return until Aug 1, and therefore no work was done. I am a cool and collected person, I let it slide, but do press for them to finish the work - which I had paid for already - to be completed by that weekend. I get a call, "your car is ready". I pick it up, test drive it and MY WHEELS CATCH FIRE! I pull over, and fortunately there is a fire truck at the same corner. The LAFD truck quickly extinguishes the flames. We all realize it is very odd since the engine is not at all affected. I call Roubik, tell him what just happened, and he says, "There must be something wrong with the engine"....what? I can make that stupid mistake, not a professional mechanic with a business that is supposed to know about cars and their repairs. I tow the car in again...leave it for a few days for more "checking/repairs". I am called to pick it up and charged again for brake calipers this time. I take the car and it does not move past 20 mph. I am furious at this point but just want to get my car out of this limbo, and take it to an actual mechanic where within hours they tell me "the brake booster needs to be changed" WTF!!!? I called Roubik immediately and demanded my money back. He tells me the guy is lying and wants to take my money... I refuse to bring the car back to this place, because it has been close to a month of back and forth with no solution. Roubik refuses, and things get heated over the phone conversation. I proceed to have the new repair shop make the repairs (they rock btw, check my review in the future of their services, honest, direct, quick and dependable). My car is now running no thanks to Silver Star Automotive. The place I took it to, remedied the problem, test drove it themselves before returning the car to me - unlike this sham of a place that put my life in danger repeatedly. I wish I could give them negative stars as they deserve them. I will say that if you need to fraudulently file bogus insurance repair claims, this is the place to go. I overheard the owner discussing such things as fudging repair costs to avoid salvaging cars - which is illegal and very dangerous - with a client and should have run away from the place at that moment, but I didn't trust my instinct and decided to trust this place. I'm writing this so that you don't have to make the same mistake I did.
