We liked the ambiance of this restaurant, really reminds us of our trip to Japan where the neighborhood restaurants look just like this one. Minimalist, functional and cozy. We came prepared to like this place. We tried to order the Okonomiyaki which was prominently featured on a promotional card on the table. But our waitress said they couldn't prepare that for us today (no ingredients?). So we chose the fried oyster appetizer. It was beautifully presented, something we all expect from the Japanese's principle of serving pretty food. The lemon slice was shaped like a bird (how cute!) and the oyster had a very light batter. It was delicious. We ordered the Dipping Ramen with seafood, and added black garlic oil (for an extra $1.50). But there was not enough broth, so I asked for more broth for which they charged another $6.95. Again, the food was presented beautifully ---- broth and noodles in separate bowls, and the other foods on a small tray. But for a ramen that's supposed to be seafood, I barely had seafood on the tray. Were those slivers of squid?The Oyaka Chicken bowl was rather bland in taste and in presentation. Nothing to see here, folks! Move on. We had to check it out for ourselves, based on the reviews, but we were underwhelmed. Yoshiya Kitchen is located off of the 95/North Durango exit, located inside a small shopping plaza next to a few local businesses such the Silver State Schools Credit Union. There is spacious amount of parking available. We ended up eating a late lunch around 2:00 P.M at Yoshiya Kitchen on a Thursday afternoon. There is plenty of table and booth seating available. The indoor décor is themed and quite elegant. All of the team members are super friendly at Yoshiya Kitchen. We were warmly welcomed. After reviewing their menu, we decided to order the following Appetizers: Chicken Egg Roll (4p) - $5.95 Gyoza (5p) - $5.95 Main Entree: House Signature Dish: Japanese Omelette Rice with Demi Sauce - $13.95 Shoyu Ramen (Thick noodle with chicken broth, chasiu, green onion boiled egg, menma, and seaweed) - $10.95 Dessert: Sweet Potato Blanc Cake. The restaurant prepped the food quickly. We arrived at 2:00 P.M and left approximately 2:45 P.M. The appetizers arrived first at our table, with the chicken egg rolls. The chicken egg rolls were phenomenal. It was freshly fried with a decent amount of chicken inside. The ingredients were fresh. The Gyoza was unique. I am not used to the preparation that was used with the outside super crispy. It reminded me of fried parmesan, but without the cheese taste. It was scrumptious! The Shoyu Ramen was delicious! A friend of mine had gone to this place earlier and had recommended it. I had gone to Japan a few years ago and didn't get a chance to go to kichi kichi and try the Omurice. So this was on my must try places. It is pretty far away from the Las Vegas strip so be prepared for a long drive. It was a party of 4, and we ordered the okonomiyaki to share and we ordered 2 of the Omurice. The Omurice was delicious! I loved the glazed sauce and the rice was so flavorful. It was very filling. Two of us shared the Omurice and we were both very full. We also got the Mont Blanc desserts. We got the taro and the black sesame. It was not bad. I didn't quite care for the whipped cream inside. So excited to finally have another Ramen option other than the one on Centennial. This place was amazing, as soon as we walked in we were seated. The restaurant was full but we were never treated as if they were too busy to check on us. Our server Kenia, knew the entire menu and was very sweet and attentive. The owner personally came to check on us to see how our experience and food was. She even raced us to the door to hold it open for us as we were leaving, very proud of her business and appreciative of her customers. One of my favorite Japanese spots in Las Vegas! My first impressions of this place were that it's trendy with its aesthetics but also friendly thanks to their hardworking staff. Not to mention, the food here is incredible. I've had their pork ramen, chicken ramen, karaage, chicken egg rolls, ube mochi, and mango cheese cake. Their ramen broth felt so heart and was flavorful. I like to mix their ramen with spicy paste which kicks the dish up a level. Their karaage has also been my top fave ones in the area because they come in hot and crispy. Though, you honestly can't go wrong with anything on their menu. While I do love their ramen, I've heard amazing things about their omurice and can't wait to try that next! read more

Drove up to centennial to grab the black sesame mont blanc. I am a fan of black sesame. Stayed for the ramen and saw they had black garlic oil too. Got my ramen and reminded the young male waiter to bring the garlic oil. He said no problem. Then we went to hang out at the cashier area and chit chat with the waitress with braces. He then clocked out. I get it, it's late, time to go home, someone else is closing tonight. The waitress with braces is much more caring and attentive! She came to check on me if i was almost ready for dessert. I asked for it to go and asked her not to charge for the black garlic oil since i never got it. She apologized (which she didn't have to, not her fault), and brought it out anyways. She said she wanted me to try it. Very nice of her and you can see she is invested in the food and quality! Ramen broth was good, the bokchoy was a nice touch. I liked how the ramen comes with a whole egg. Noodles were a bit on the soggy side, but I understand that it was rhe end of the day. I think this place has some potential and great ideas but still has a lot of improvements to make, we ordered their beef bowl with egg, shrimp omelette rice, gyoza and the black sesame cake, the eggs in their beef bowl was way too runny it looked completely raw, good thing I don't mind raw eggs but my boyfriend was not a fan, the beef was a bit too thick and chewy as well, flavor was good though. Shrimp omelette rice looks unique but only came with 3 shrimps and the house sauce was a bit too salty to my liking but my boyfriend liked it since he usually prefers heavier food lol Gyozas were decent but way too greasy, each bite I took I could feel all the grease on my lips that I had to wipe it off each time I took a bit of the gyoza.. the highlight of our meal was indeed the sesame cake, I might come back for it once in a great while since I live 20 miles away lol the service was great though, both our servers were attentive and nice and the ambiance was nice and cozy, overall not a bad restaurant just have a few improvements to make read more

Yoshiya may serve the best ramen in Vegas, and that's saying a lot, considering it's all the way out in Centennial Hills. But trust me, it's worth the trip. Vegas has pretty solid ramen. My previous favs Ramen Arashi, and the OG Ramen Show closed down, so this has to be it for me at the moment. A distant second would be Ramen ZERO, but I've got some more to try. I've tried both the Chicken Paitan and the Tonkotsu. The Chicken Paitan has a nice creaminess to it for a chicken broth -- it's got depth, yet it's still light. The noodles are cooked well, although I wished they were a bit more al dente, but that's just a personal preference. The Tonkotsu is also pretty light, but got some good depth to it. It has thin noodles which I prefer, since they do a better job of absorbing the broth. Both are great. We also always order the karaage chicken here. The pieces of chicken are massive, and the batter they use is SO crispy. It's fucking delicious. Be sure to ask for their spicy paste -- goes really well with the soup and adds some nice flavor. I'll be back next time to try the omurice :) read more

I came here because my boyfriend kept talking about how the omurice is the best omurice he's ever had and for my first experience he wanted me to try this place, and I must say I am beyond satisfied. It was my first time having omurice ever and this really set the bar. I got the chicken omurice option, and the sauce was sooo so delicious. I wanted seconds, really, but actually the plate itself was a lot for one person. I was able to take it home and enjoy it again later. We also got the shrimp tempura! Perfectly fried in my opinion, really great appetizer, I would get this again.
