There are no words to describe the complete disaster of this move. I've lived in numerous states and moved professionally at least seven times. Absolutely everything that could go wrong did go wrong from beginning. From not having enough people at the beginning, unprofessional Packers that showed up put in a couple hours and I was on the phone nonstop with Frankie who's a local manager while the owner was off on a vacation to Hawaii... he was nonresponsive to myself and the team the entire time. They had to send another crew halfway through the day and then I had one guy that actually showed up by himself late at night and stayed until 1030pm trying to pack things himself. During all this I was very concerned about artwork and things that were being broken as they were packing, lack of care and professionalism and packing expensive items, and as the second day rolled around it got more and more disastrous because they brought a crew that was all over the property and they were not paying attention to all of the detailed labeling and organization that we had done to make sure that things were going to two different properties which was in the quote. During all of this it was very clear that the team was not respectful or confident with the owners quotes or communication. Frankie did the best he could to try to be there throughout this entire process but he was equally disturbed at the lack of quality and care that was happening throughout this process. I was on the phone with him numerous calls throughout each day. Eventually they just started dumping things into giant boxes and not wrapping anything and you'll see the pictures that I will attach... Quite disturbing. During all of this I was sending numerous emails with photos making phone calls and communicating all of my concerns to the owner and to Frankie. I received one response from Tony,the owner, that stated that he would handle my concerns when he got back from his vacation in Hawaii. I've never heard from him since and I've sent dozens of emails and made numerous phone calls and nobody picks up. When the truck arrived I realized what a disaster I was facing and I also had a disaster left at my home in San Jose that I had people in my home for the next 4 to 5 days packing and taking two truckloads of stuff to my warehouse which I'm gonna have to deal with in the future. Numerous items and boxes and furniture were delivered to Tahoe that belongs in Nevada and vice versa. So I will have to hire people on this end to fix that and eventually get the items from San Jose over to Tahoe and Nevada. To this day I have not received one phone call or email back from Tony or Frankie or anybody about these concerns and the damage that's caused in the amount of costs I'm going to have to incur to fix it and The enormous amount of time spent to try to go through this mess. The contract clearly stated that I would be going over the invoice and details with them and then approving it and then I would be charged after we agreed the day after they dropped everything off I was charged the contract quote with an additional $1k. read more

My fiancee and i needed to move and decided to use you move me based on her previous experience with the company, what a mistake that was. We were quoted before the move about a $900.00 move which was reasonable and wanted to move forward with them. You move me was scheduled to be at her house at 8:00 am on Saturday February 27th and didn't show up until 11:00 am. The two movers were both nice guys just not timely. Both them talked about how they had a long night the previous night (working until midnight) which makes sense why they were late. They seemed a bit tired from the night before which may have been why things took longer than quoted. We ended up getting charged over $1,400.00 for the move and after talking them down a little we got charged $1,250.00. Normally i wouldn't write a review like this but when the move was happening they damaged my stair spindle. I was assured by the owner / movers that this matter would get taken care of on Tuesday. I understand things happen during a move and i had no issue with the damage if it was going to get repaired / restored to its original condition. I call you move me on Tuesday to see if anyone was going to come out, no one ended up until Wednesday. On Wednesday You move me sends a repair man over to fix the damage. I think they are going to assess the damage and come back a few days later and order a new stair spindle to paint / install. Instead the repairman insists he can fix it and as you can see in the picture it was a total patch job and the spindle is crooked. After being extremely disappointed again i called you move me the next 3 days to see what was going on and i was given the run around by multiple representative that this would be taken care of. I filled out the necessary forms, i kept calling and they all just kept giving me the run around. I had a full pack for my 2bed 2 bath apartment, I had done practically zero prep but they were not phased; in a few short hours everything was boxed, wrapped in blankets, and on the truck! Team was very communicative and responsive, professional and friendly. When we arrived at the destination they put everything where I requested and helped assemble three beds, two of them antique and a bit tricky. Didn't get a final quote until the day before the move. Considerably more than we'd anticipated, but we'd already arranged everything and had no time to find anyone else. It was an quote per hour, with 7 guys and 2 trucks, so we believed it should be a relatively quick move. It took them 9 hours all told. In addition, we'd asked if they could haul off the bigger trash items for us. They were happy to, for an additional $80 per item ON TOP of the hourly fee. Last time we had trash hauled, it was $250 per truck load. So we declined. Didn't stop them from loading up all the things we'd designated as trash, so we had to make them unload those thing. The guys arrived promptly at the beginning of their time window. Everything seemed to be going well. We felt that they were progressing well and treating our things with care. Until... They ran out of boxes. They couldn't get ahold of their boss to arrange additional boxes, so we called the place we were moving into to rearrange the move in slot. As soon as I'd done that, they told me their boss had called and authorized the purchase of more boxes from Home Depot, which they were in the process of buying and bringing back. So we had to re-rearrange the move in slot. Finally got everything packed up and moved over to the new place. After they hauled everything in, we had to give the boss the CC #, and the guys stood around as if waiting for a tip on top of the large moving fee. Then we started unpacking, which we are still doing. The boxes they packed were mostly labeled correctly, but not always. Things were broken. Not many so far, but the broken dragon skull broke my kid's heart. Then there was the missing money. Kid had gotten a graduation money lei with over $100. All the cash was folded into a metal container. When my kid unwrapped it, there was maybe $20 left. While we haven't unpacked all boxes yet, we have unpacked all the ones in our bedroom. There should have been a beer stein full of small coins. I'm hoping that it's in a mislabeled box, but that hope is diminishing as we unpack more boxes. Unpacked more boxes. Still no missing cash/coins. And now we have a scratched computer monitor. If we find the missing cash/coins, I'll be happy to update and upgrade the rating. read more

When I approached my neighbor about it, they handed me the contact information for Franky Kamar with youmoveme. I have contacted the number several times and no one will return my call. I would NOT recommend hiring You Move Me for your next move! The entire experience was terrible. We hired them to pack our belongings on a Friday and move us on a Saturday. When the movers (4 guys rather than 5 guys that had previously been included on the proposal) arrived on Saturday, at 10:00am, they had forgotten dollies, so they had to wait for one of the guys to go get the dollies to start loading. It ended up taking them 7 hours to move our items out of our house which was way longer than they originally had quoted. It took them 2 hours to drive 20 miles and by the time they got to our new place it was dark and they were unable to make it up our driveway to unload the truck that night. They said they could come back on Monday morning to deliver our stuff. Given that we have a baby, this was not an ideal scenario, but it was the only option they gave us. They said they would be back first thing Monday morning and confirmed via email on Sunday. They ended up arriving at 12:30pm that afternoon. They had to move our things from one truck to another before they delivered them, but that was not communicated to us. They didn't call to let us know that they would not be there at 9am like they had previously stated. The packing process was VERY sloppy. Items were just thrown in boxes, not labeled correctly making it very difficult for us to find our things and unpack as well as put our furniture back together (missing screws for multiple pieces of furniture, one guy even took some home with him). A lot of the kitchen items were not wrapped properly or at all. One box had an opened box of baking soda in it flipped upside down so the baking soda was dumped all over all other items in the box. That box also contained our entire knife set in it, unwrapped and randomly placed in the box which made it hard to unpack safely. Many of our items were damaged or broken. They dragged furniture across our wood floors rather than picking them up and scratched them in both our old and new house. They didn't use any floor protection at all. In total there was about $4,000 worth of damage done to our belongings (not including the scratched floors). In total there was about $4,000 worth of damage done to our belongings and we were charged $2,000 more than we were originally quoted for the move. When given the opportunity to make things right, they offered $2,000 for the damaged items but took no responsibility for the extra charge for time taken even though they were inefficient in moving, forgot dollies, terrible at packing and one of the movers asked me for a shot of tequila while working. Overall, our experience with You Move Me was terrible. They caused more stress to the situation and we would have been better off moving ourselves (and that is saying something because I am 4 months pregnant). They had the opportunity to make things right after the move went poorly, and instead we were presented with empty promises and little to no communication even from their corporate office. Move with you move me San Jose was the most stressful move I ever had. On the day of the move they said the truck had some kind of breakdown and said they are waiting for another guy to repair. It was not a big deal as they arrived by 9:30. Then started the nightmare. One of the guys was not really interested to do the job and was having a spat with the other two guys. He one manned most of the work and scratched our wooden floor and walls. When pointed, he was unapologetic and just kept doing what he was doing. Finally for the payment, we said we need to see in writing that they will compensate us for the damage done, but they never gave us anything. When asked about a contact for the responsible person, they first handed us a visiting card which had an invalid number. We figured that out and asked them for a real one and they finally gave us a number of a guy. They ended up not compensating us adequately as the repair needed to be done sooner as we had to handoff the home. I would suggest to not go with them. read more

Very disappointing experience with You Move Me in San Jose. After receiving a quote from Roosevelt we booked our move. They delivered boxes ahead of time but they were NOT the special boxes advertised by You Move Me. And they did not bring the wardrobe boxes until the day of the move because they use them over and over. The movers showed up in a plain white truck and only one was wearing a logo shirt. They were very nice but I did call You Move Me to ensure they were legit. They did not bring coffee or a plant, which in and of itself is not a big deal but again, that what is advertised. The movers got to work right away and I was busy moving boxes and things. After about 20 minutes I realized that failed to put down any protection on my carpet and by that time they had made huge spots bringing a dolly up and down the stairs. I made them stop and since they failed to bring the carpet protector with them, they had to call their office to have some bring it out. We lost over an hour waiting for that and then having them put it down. A supervisor named Sean ( not sure of the spelling because he didn't have a business card) came out and assured me that they would get the carpet cleaned for me. Silly me, I actually believed him! He blamed everything on corporate including the boxes, lack of signage on their truck and even the fact that he didn't have business cards. After the move when I contacted him about it he said they would come out with a bottle of spot cleaner. I told him that was unacceptable and not what he promised me. I had to get the carpets cleaned myself and requested reimbursement. Sean said he would talk to his boss and was sure they would do something. I never heard from him again. I left messages and sent an email but got no reply. Although the 3 movers worked hard and were very nice, it took hours longer than they predicted and once everything was loaded they asked if it could be delivered the next day instead because it was late and they were tired. I said OK. The next day they arrived right on time. They literally dumped the clothes from the wardrobe boxes in a big pile on the floor of my closet! Two pieces of antique furniture were not wrapped at all and were just tossed into a big bin with other miscellaneous things. Both now have huge scratches. In carrying things into the house and up stairs they chipped the plaster of the walls of my brand new house. They didn't bother to connect the sections of our sofa together either. Just carelessness. The best moving company I would ever used again. I have moved 6 times now due to work and this one by far was EXCELLENT. Roosevelt Reed the coordinator helped me from day one was responsive, understanding and caring. What took me by surprise was that he managed to make his guys did the delivery all in one day from SJ to Riverside. My mom is a dialysis patient and getting those dialysis supplies is a life and death situation. Mr Reed left me worried free . The movers were in communication with me from first thing in the morning to arriving for delivery. They kept me informed with every step on this moved. They were fast , on time and caring people. They treated each other with fun demeanor. I can tell I would get along with these guys if I was working with them. DO NOT USE and find another moving company. We hired these guys to pack and move our things from Santa Clara to San Diego and what should have been a memorable experience turned into disaster as we unpacked our belongings to not only find broken items ranging from dishes to furniture and missing screws for our tvs. But I was just gutted seeing how they threw things into boxes with no care in the world. Who packs heavy kitchen appliances into wardrobe boxes, then told it with fragile glasses, then puts on top cast iron pots and pans? The boxes were labeled incorrectly or not labeled at all. I've moved several times in my life and this by far was the worst company. They didn't even use wardrobe boxes for my items of clothing that were hung. It was put into garbage bags that got ripped during transports and just thrown on the floor of the truck. Their trash from their pizza lunch at Costco was laid next to my clothes that wasn't even tied so it spilled everywhere. This review is long overdue. You Move Me moved my family in July 2014. It was an in-city move of approx. 8 miles from one single family home to another with no stairs whatsoever. We bought them lunch and gave each of our 3 movers a $20 tip after unload. The Good: Starbucks for me and the honey brought to us by the crew on arrival Little houseplant gift given to us as the crew departed for the day Crew looked sharp in uniform Crew was nice They brought boxes, which helped with all the weird stuff we hadn't quite got into a box yet (almost everything else was ready to go) They were willing to book us at essentially the last minute (we booked them about 8 days out from our move) The Meh: Crew worked fast in the morning, but after lunch they were dragging for the rest for the day. To be fair, it turned out to be one of the hottest days of the summer, so I can't fault them too much for that. Crew left empty tape rolls, 2 full tape rolls, and other little litter hither and yon at the old house The Bad: Crew used what I thought was excessive amounts of plastic wrap to wrap up some furniture - it was a challenge to undo and I felt awful throwing it out Crew literally was cramming stuff into the truck at the end. We watched them as they broke 2 lampshades on our son's lamp. We ended up with that and other damaged items as a result. The Ugly: They didn't take proper steps to get my fridge into my new house at first (see photo). They did eventually take the handle off the fridge and get it in, but by that point they had already (unbeknownst to me) stripped off some foam insulation from one of the pipes on the back, the covering of some of the wiring, and a little paint. I found the foam covering on the floor after they left but didn't know what it went to. It was about 10 days later that we found the damage to the pipe/wire. What we ended up paying at the end of the day was about twice what we had been quoted (quoted $801 for 3 Crew members and truck to move a 4 bedroom home, ended up paying $1500). I said yes, and they asked if I can mentioned their name in a review so they can get a bonus. I find it very tacky when someone has to ask for a good review or rating. I am of two minds about this mover. Overall we're happy with the movers. We had a few issues, however. We initially requested a quote for a 3-BR house with some breakdown/assembly and a few items in junk disposal. We received a quote for 6-8 hour at an extremely reasonable price, with a 10% cash discount for the month we were in. We happily withdrew enough cash to cover 8 hours at the quoted price plus an extra few hundred just in case. When it was time to book, the owner decided we only needed five hours and disassemble/reassemble and junk removal. We were skeptical but hey, they're the pros, so we trusted their estimate. The day of, the movers were great. They had all the equipment they needed and were quick and professional. Unfortunately they decided they could get the breakdown item down the stairs without disassembling it, and broke one piece clean in half. Fine, it was an Ikea bed, so no huge loss, but it was another item we had to pay for disposal of. We had been honest from the outset that it needed breakdown and even though I'm not grieving the loss of the bed, it was nearly new and could've easily been salvaged if they hadn't tried to wrestle it out the door without disassembling it. On top of that, they damaged three walls and the door trying to get it out before they shoved it back upstairs and showed us the damage, where we decided to dispose of it at an additional fee. Fine, we lost a cheap but useful bed frame. At this point we are approaching five hours, but it's time to go. They balked at our moving destination even though we had told the company where we were moving in the initial request for a quote. Why wouldn't we? It was required. So we get to the new place, and everything goes fine from there. Eight hours into moving day, we are now charged three hours of overtime (no idea what the hourly rate was at that point; it wasn't clear). The final tally was double the initial quote. We ended up having to pay a few hundred on our cards because the cash + extra cushion we pulled out, and we weren't sure where the ATM was in our new town. We were ready for them to go and so were they, so they agreed to take the small remainder via credit card. A few days later our landlord at our own place pointed out the damage from the movers, and we mentioned it to You Move Me, who offered their handyman. So we take time out of our day to meet the handyman (keeping in mind we've moved to a new town at this point) who says he can't do anything. Fine, we'll have it taken out of our deposit and send the bill to YMM. But wait, there's more! Suddenly there's a SECOND handyman who can do the work, but we didn't know about it the first time around. At this point we had surrendered our keys and the new tenants were about to take over. We had to liaise between the second YMM handyman and our former property manager to get the repairs done, and we still don't know what our ultimate loss will be. Overall, this is an average moving service with a handful of rockstar employees. Our main mover, Dave, was fantastic and we were thrilled with him. But we are disappointed with the lack of transparency in the quote and how the damage was handled. I think this could be a great moving service if they tighten up their practices a bit to make the process more streamlined. Give them a chance, but make sure you request the higher limit of hours you think you'll need, lest you get slammed with a 3-hour overtime like we did, and if you need breakdown, don't let them talk you into moving your furniture as-is. read more

Very organized and responsive while setting up the moving process. They offered to get us free coffee and showed up to the apt a little early but didn't ring the doorbell until exactly when our appointment was scheduled to start. They don't bill overview/discussion time so you can show them what you want them to do without worrying about the clock ticking. They also let my husband move stuff with them so we could move faster which was nice. They don't rush. They pack everything very carefully with blankets and plastic wrap and they drive carefully. Once at the townhouse, they take time folding their blankets back up and tidying up their truck as they unpack. The truck itself didn't seem to fit that much stuff in it, it looked maybe 2/3 full and we didn't have any boxes, only left them large furniture pieces (bed, dresser, TV, tables, etc) to pack. The bigger guy was wheezing pretty badly up the stairs but everything seemed fine. We found a pretty huge nickel-sized dent in the wall where it looks like something scraped on the way up but we didn't see the movers actually dent it so we didn't mention it. The whole move took about 1 hour and 45 minutes but they only billed us for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Total cost around $150. read more

I was quoted for a 2 man crew and the day before my move the "big boss" Tony decided to change it to a 4 man crew. He did not tell me this information nor did he ask me. Obviously this doubled the price per hour and the original quote was no longer intact. The movers came and gave me this information the day of. Obviously, I couldn't proceed as this was out of my budget but more importantly, done without my agreement. The movers said either I pay for 4 movers now or we aren't going to proceed with the move. Really disappointing as I had taken work off and my family had worked really hard to get everything ready for the movers. There was a huge miscommunication between their front desk call center representatives Richard and Kenan, who confirmed the move for me the day before. But the day of the move, the quote had doubled in price. I was very disappointed as Valerie and Tony, who were handling the case afterwards, failed to help with my move after I explained everything to them. They even reviewed the phone calls where there representatives apologized for their miscommunication and misunderstandings. I will be pushing this information through social media outlets as well as they wasted a lot of time and money for me. They showed up to pack with only 2 employees for our 3 story home and I had to ask them to call for 2 additional employees. When packing up our master bedroom they did not use any packaging material and simply emptied all my bathroom drawers into one box- sunglasses, cleaning supplies, toiletries all in one jumbled heap. They broke our large living room clock and refused to provide remedy. During the moving process they left 5 large heavy boxes clearly labeled as master bedroom in the kitchen. My original review was for a move You Move Me did for my parents and my boss, but I had them move me recently and again, 5 stars all around. Tony was super friendly and asked the right questions when giving me a quote. Robert and the rest of the moving crew that day were awesome. They took really good care of my stuff and I appreciated that they'd check in with any items that looked like they needed special handling or care. You Move Me moved us from a condo to a house. They packed our furniture and moved our boxes and were able to work within our condo building's HOA restrictions, which was a requirement for us. At the new house they were friendly and helpful in getting all the items to their new destinations, even if we didn't know exactly where they would end up. The initial phone conversations went well & everything was set for our move. The morning the crew arrived, they were supposed to arrive between 8:30-9am but around 9am they said they were getting gas and about 30 minutes away. Once the crew arrived, 6 guys, I figured this would be a very quick move since I packed most of the house except the kitchen and bathroom - we moved out of a 2 bedroom 1 bath house. The guys were very nice and they did a good job with the exception of probably 1 new? guy - someone placed all of the framed pictures in a box without any protective paper around them. In order to get the pictures out, I needed to cut the box since they were packed so tightly that I didn't want to scratch/break the other picture frames. Another odd request from the guys was water/beverage while on the job. Ummmm, you're a mover and should come with a water bottle and fill it up in the sink. I found a new pack of bubbly water and offered it to the guys. Most of them only took a few sips and then left it out for me to clean up. That seemed unprofessional. The house seemed packed up so lead guy said they were done and asked me to go thru the house to verify everything was packed up. Well, I found 2 closets not packed. I am very impressed with my experience with You Move Me. Tony was super patient and helpful over the phone as this was the first time I've used movers before and I had a ton of questions. The team was super professional, worked quickly and the service was reasonably priced. They were right on time and were super careful with our stuff. My husband and I just got married so I was primarily concerned about the boatload of new fragile glassware and plates -- I was so nervous they weren't going to make it thru the move but the team paid attention and took care to make sure everything arrived in one piece. I've had a whirlwind of mixed feelings throughout my move and with using You Move Me but overall the service was awesome, the movers pretty cool, and my stuff was moved and placed into my new place without me having to sweat it all out. I got a quote online which was super expensive but decided to call them to chat with them about my moving needs. The person I spoke with on the phone was awesome. Super friendly, incredibly helpful, walked me through the booking process and explained pricing and ended up with a quote several hundred dollars less than what I received online. And they promise to bring you a coffee of your choice when they arrive in the morning (score!). The day before the move I received a phone call saying that due to training, the movers would be later than expected but they would comp me an extra mover to expedite things (for free). YES PLEASE! Sure, late is ok. At least I get my coffee and extra man. ;) The day of came and although I was expecting delays, they ended up being an hour over the already late time they told me. Ok, ok, I get it, that's ok but wait, wasn't I supposed to get a coffee?? They arrived, without coffee in hand, but at this point I really wanted my stuff moved. Onward and... outward? The four guys that arrived did a quick walkthrough of the space then got to work. VERY friendly guys. Chatted with me a bit while they worked, while being quick and efficient. Four hours later they had unpacked the huge truck at my new place and I paid them the VERY FAIR quoted price. Overall, good service and saved me what could have been SO much anxiety. Moving is stressful and the movers I had help out definitely improved the overall experience. It's a hard job to do but they did it with smiles. I ended up with all of my furniture and household items in place when they left, although one ikea table was left with a large chunk missing, my kitchen table had a small chunk of wood gone, and my mattress left with a large black mark (possibly grease??) even though it was moved in a mattress bag. I would recommend using You Move Me for the MORE than fair price, the friendly staff, and to relieve some of the pain of moving. TIPS if you do use You Move Me: - Mattress bags are extra $ - Portable closet is free (and awesome) but is extra charge if you keep it (so unpack your clothes ASAP when they're unloading the truck) - If removing anything from the walls, ask them to bring their wall-repair kit (they will patch the walls for you) - Have extra junk? BEWARE - THIS COMPANY WILL LOW BALL YOU TO GET YOUR BUSINESS, THEN DOUBLE OR QUADRUPLE THE PRICE. They were quadruple my online quote, and double the quote after I called to figure out the "real" number. Read other reviews below, you'll see I'm not alone. I did an estimate online, which came to ~$700 for my 2BR apartment (which is actually smaller - a 1BR with a den). I then called to make sure they wouldn't screw me on the estimate, and after talking to an agent, they upped the price to $1500, which was a lot, but I was OK with, after looking around. When they actually did the job, they took twice as much manpower, and the cost was $3000!! They had already tried to screw me with a low-ball on the online estimate, and then completely hosed me on the actual total even after the estimate was raised. They also "forgot" to add $100 of packing paper to the estimate. They also never sent a contract ahead of time, which they had me sign day-of (without time to read) the day I was getting kicked out of my apartment. Do not use this company, or prepare to pay wayyyy more than expected. What is the point of an estimate if it is this far off? On the upside, the movers were extremely nice, but with this kind of rip off, it sadly doesn't really matter :( read more

Good moving experience. Movers were really nice, the local manager(guy over the phone) was really helpful and assuring. But the only issue I have them is the price. The had quoted me $1000, it ended up costing me little over $2000. Yes DOUBLE!! Other estimates I got was 1200-1400 I got greedy and ended up going with the cheapest option, and it ended up costing me more at the end. So be careful. If you don't care about the money and want nothing but good service these guys are the guys to go to. read more

I'm not really thrilled with this company. We scheduled a move with them, confirmed by email after booking it and thought we were set. Nope. They apparently wanted to double confirm by phone and because we didn't answer their call (we were busy packing and setting up our new house) they gave our spot up to someone else. So, with two days before our move we had to scramble to find another lover. It was an extremely disappointing experience and way more stress than we needed added on to an already stressful time. So if you happen to book with this company, be sure you keep your phone attached to yourself and confirm confirm confirm. Otherwise you might be in a really ugly situation like we were. read more

I used you move me south bay last August for my local move. I had a PODS container to store most of my furniture and stuff for the move and the rest of the everyday stuff was to be moved to my new house. With regards to the stuff that got moved in their truck to the nee house, they did fine except for 1 IKEA sofa bed that took them 2 hours or so to disassemble it and then another 2-3 hours to put it back together at the new location. Mind you that I am aware that putting IKEA furniture together is not straightforward usually, i used a different moving company in the past and i had that same couch and 2 guys managed to disassemble it in 10 minutes and out it back together in 15 minutes! Not only did it take 6 of them to try to put it back together, they also did it wrong and the section of the sofa bed that slides open and close is now broken and not usable! Now, for the worst part of the experience, the furniture that they loaded for us in the PODS container stayed there for few months so i only got to see it when we unloaded the container recently. The dining table was NOT wrapped at all!!! They managed to wrap the chairs but not the table for some reason!! And they had it leaning on one side so one corner of the wood table is now damaged!! I do not understand how they can leave a wood table like that unprotected given that they knew we are storing it for few months! I picked this company based on all the positive reviews here on Yelp but i am very disappointed in them. I have used other moving companies in the bay area that did a much better job. read more

If I were able to give this company a 0 I would. Worst moving service ever! I would not recommend this company to anyone. Workers totally unprofessional stole items from our move. Used them a few months ago and all of my living room, bedroom and nursery furniture was all damaged. Kitchen items were just thrown in a box and they even packed fruit! It was a nice surprise opening that up. Also, dishes and baby bottles were just thrown in a box not even wrapped in bubble wrap. Called the company to report damages and was told some one was going to get back to me.... 4 months later I'm still waiting. They disassemble and reassemble perfectly as well. They remind me of the corporate movers that my company uses and that's a good thing because it is done right. I also want to personally thank Reggie and Ryan for their great work. Reggie helped me move twice in one year and he's the utmost professional and does everything right. I really liked the sales guy. He came in and gave me a quote and told me he's almost always higher than the actual number. This turned out to not be true in my case, but I still really liked him. He was always super responsive. The movers were great, super fast, super friendly. They sent an extra 2 guys for free, which was pretty great. The downside: 1) They didn't box up all my stuff as it should have been, knowing we were going to be moving long distance. Ended up costing an extra $2200 with the long distance movers. I contacted the sales guy about this and he said they boxed everything and the other company was scamming me. However, my husband was there when the long distance people picked if up and said they did end up boxing a lot of loose stuff. 2) They made a nice size dent in my wall and gave us $20 or $40 for it. That wouldn't have covered the repairs if we chose to repair it. 3) They didn't follow instructions completely, taking some stuff I told them not to and not taking stuff I told them to. To be fair, we had a lot of stuff so I can see why this happened. All in all, if we still lived in San Jose and were moving in the city, I'd use them again. But using them to put my items in storage until I could move long distance didn't work out and ended up costing me more money. read more
