The most beautiful pie shop and such tasty pie!…read more Surprisingly, my favorite pie here is the Southern Pecan Pie. You can't even tell it's gluten-free but an added bonus that it is since my wife has Celiac! I also really love the Carolina Classic Cherry Pie and candy bar pies like the Milky Way Pie. Pick up your pie and walk to the other side of the building for a view of the marina while you enjoy your sweet treat!

However, the first two hours are free with validation so if you can find a spot it will be free. Inside there are tables, but it's more of it to go type of place that serves full and pie slices. They also have mini pies in all different sizes and shapes. They have a rotating seasonal flavor menu as well as some main stays. The service was actually very polite and quick when we arrived and we are the only ones in during our visit. It is a bit expensive for pie, but given that this is something I don't get often I would still recommend it pricewise. I will say that is not my favorite pie that I've had in Los Angeles nor is it as good as my girlfriend's homemade but it is still very nice. The strawberry cheesecake and the cherry pie were both very good, although not my favorites. I like how you can get a slice of pie instead of a whole so for that reason, it is a great option and I would recommend.

Here's a polished Yelp review you can post:…read more KC's Crepe Café is truly one of those hidden gems that make Marina del Rey special. Tucked away in Fisherman's Wharf, it's the kind of place you almost want to keep secret -- but it's too good not to share. The coffee is excellent -- smooth, balanced, and clearly made with care. But the real star is the crepes. There's a great variety, from savory to sweet, and everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Whether you're in the mood for something light or indulgent, you'll find an option that hits the spot. What makes the experience even better is the owner. The café is run by a warm and gracious Japanese gentleman who clearly takes pride in his craft. You can feel the attention to detail and hospitality in every order. If you're walking around Marina del Rey and want a relaxed, charming stop for coffee and crepes, KC's is absolutely worth it. Cozy, authentic, and quietly exceptional. I'll definitely be back.

I was helped by a lovely Asian gentleman who took my order with care and kindness, and that attention carried straight through to the food. These people know how to make crêpes -- the real way. Not thick, doughy, pancake-style impostors like so many places serve, but thin, delicate, authentically French crêpes. That thinness matters. It's what makes every bite more flavorful, allowing the fillings to shine instead of being buried under heavy batter. The Nutella crêpe was an experience on its own. Because the crêpe is so thin, the chocolate melts instantly on your tongue. The warmth releases the deep cocoa aroma, coating your mouth in smooth, rich sweetness without ever feeling overwhelming. It's balanced, indulgent, and incredibly satisfying. The breakfast omelette was just as impressive. Savory, well-seasoned, and comforting, with the salt hitting your taste buds first -- waking up your palate -- followed by the richness of the eggs. I added avocado for just $0.50, and it was absolutely worth it. The creamy texture softened the saltiness perfectly, creating a smooth, rounded bite that lingered in the best way. This place understands flavor, texture, and authenticity. When crêpes are made this thin, every ingredient speaks louder, tastes clearer, and feels more intentional. I'll be back -- without hesitation.

We had heard of KINNEY BLVD from the FRIDAY Food Truck Cookout. I learned that that's where they filmed the last scenes in the movie CHEF!!! I really like ice cream shops that have unique flavors and high quality flavors and this place delivered on both fronts. I sampled a bunch of flavors and the coffee and nuts flavor was pretty good, but ended up getting the strawberry with black pepper and the chocolate brownie on a waffle cone. Both of those flavors were pretty solid, I liked the chocolate brownie a lot more than the strawberry, the strawberry had portions where it tasted straight like strawberry syrup that was a bit too sweet for my liking (even though I have a sweet tooth) The worker was nice even though we had like 4-5 samples before deciding what to buy without any pressure so that was nice. I like that they give napkins and a spoon as well if you ask. The only negatives were the price and I wish the waffle cone was made fresh right on the spot. But otherwise, would come back again!

On the menu of Turn Dough is belgian waffles, soft serve gelato, milkshakes and chimney cakes! For those who don't know what chimney cakes are; they are a traditional snack from Hungary that is made from sweet yeast dough that is rolled into a long rope and baked around a cylinder. Here at Turn Dough; you can actually watch them make and bake the chimney cake. It was really hard to choose what dessert to get here as everything looked so yummy. This place happens to be the first place to offer chimney cake in Los Angeles and so you know I just had to try that. Even choosing which chimney cake to get was hard! They've got 18 different types or you can even create your own! From oreo to nutella to coconut to Disney inspired or unicorn inspired; they've got something for everyone! I ended up getting the very cute Minnie Macaron chimney cake which has Italian-style soft-serve gelato, French Macarons, Rainbow sprinkles, and a handmade Minnie Mouse bow on top. It was definitely a magical Disney inspired creation. We also got the Nutella Dream. This one is a must try for Nutella lovers. It's a chocolate delight that even includes Kinder chocolates! Tastewise; I really liked the freshly baked chimney cakes from here. The chimney cakes are so soft and fluffy. My gelato ice cream melted pretty quickly but I still enjoyed the sweet, creamy soft serve. One has the option to get the chimney cake upside down in a cup and I have to say that is not a bad option because it helps with eating the ice cream and you won't have to worry about the oozy, dripping mess hehe that you will get a with a cone. Overall; Turn Dough is a good place for some delightful and sweet treats right by the beach
