I went to get a second opinion after seeing my primary dentist. Dr. Young was fine, and took time to talk to. However, his recommendations were not clear. He mentioned several things during the conversation like "we could do xxx, or we can do xxx...". The written treatment plan they gave me seems incomplete. He mentioned several thing so I wanted to get them in writing. I am lost about what I am supposed to do after removing the teeth since they did not include further treatment plan. After the visit, I asked the staff for further explanation, whose reply was not satisfactory. They just said the written plan is what the doctor recommended. Ok. I don't always put a review out either due to procrastination and or they don't deserve one because service is mediocre. However, this place deserve a huge shout out because Dr. Lee is friggin Amazing and his work is Stellar! So I am taking some time to compose this. I had cracked my crown on the bottom lower left side molar and was told by my dentist, Fred Perez, DDS from Downey, CA. that I had bone loss and needed a dental implant done before another crown can be placed. So I was referred to Dr. Young H. Lee, a Periodontist. Of course, I was upset, terrified and distraught by the news. At the time, I had just recently purchased a new car and was very limited on funds. Feeling scared and apprehensive, knowing that this whole procedure would be costly. The longer I waited the more problem would persist so I knew it had to be done so I scheduled the appointment and committed to it. On 11/11/19 I had a consultation with Dr. Lee and he was extremely knowledgeable, confident and had a great sense of humor as well as assuring me that I am in good hands. He explained to me my next step which is the Bone Replacement Graft which was scheduled on 11/18/19. The work up was painless but I needed time to heal before my post can be put in. After 4 months of healing, I returned and had CT Scan of my full Jaws to prep for the placement of Endosteal Implant (which is the post). 07/20/20 I had my Implant placed and surprisingly it was painless and fast and I did not need to be put under anesthesia. Of course he numbed the shit out of me but that was done so gracefully. He was very precise with his work and making sure that he doesn't hit any nerves because our teeth are all built differently. From my observation this doctor is a perfectionist. Thank goodness because I cannot accept anyone who is less than that. Throughout this whole process I did not need anyone to accompanied me so I was able to drive home safely afterwards. I was scheduled 07/27/20 for Post follow-up and I was told it looks good and is healing well and then I was scheduled my last final follow-up on 10/12/20 to recheck and remove the post to make sure I healed properly and that there's no redness. He took a pic from his iPhone and showed me that it healed beautifully and perfectIy. I was so happy to hear and see that. It was bittersweet for me knowing that I will not be returning because his part was done. I really enjoyed every little bit and it was definitely a learning experience. His whole staff was exceptional and they all made me feel very welcomed and was extremely very kind to me. I chatted up with most of them. I told Dr. Lee and his staff that I will be complaining how wonderful they all are so I'm doing it on here on Yelp to let others know my experience. ZERO PAIN! ZERO DOWN TIME! Dr. LEE is WONDERFUL! The last molar on the upper left side of my mouth was broken. I needed to have it pulled and I put it off, off, off. I knew that I needed to do it but I was scared. The last time I had teeth pulled was when I had my wisdom teeth removed and that was not fun. I finally had my consultation with Dr. Lee and he discussed my options and was helpful, informative and reassuring. The day arrived and I was first in at 8:00 am. I always thought I'd have to be "put under" to have teeth pulled (honestly, I wanted to but that's a pain too- that equals down time, no eating, etc) but NO! He had me inhale nitros oxide which numbs the mouth but I could still communicate with Dr. Lee. He was very calming and efficient. All I felt was a little pulling here and there but NO PAIN. Here's the magic: I was in my car, driving home at 8:31! WHAT? Yes! The numbing wore off, I had some gauze in my mouth for a few hours but by noon, I was back to normal. I took a Tylenol later in the day but that was the extent of my tooth extraction! If I had known how easy it was, I would have done it a lot sooner. That is the reason I'm writing this review. I wanted to leave a positive review for anyone looking to get their wisdom teeth extracted. I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted at Dr Young Lee's office. I was sedated through an IV but still awake. Initially I was a tad bit scared to be awake during the procedure, however everything was a breeze. They also numbed my mouth as well, the actual tooth pulling felt like it was done in 5 minutes and I didn't feel a thing. I do want to note that my wisdom teeth were not severely impacted, only 1 was giving me an issue however I decided to remove all to save myself time in the future. By day 6-7 post- op, I was eating normal food again. My insurance (Guardian) processed the claims within 2 months. Dr Young Lee actually owed me money after the insurance payout and I recieved the refund without even having to call the office. I have healed great with no issues and I am so happy I went through with getting this taken care of. I highly recommend Dr Young Lee's office! read more

My daughter had her upper and lower premolars extracted as needed for her orthodontics treatment elsewhere. Dr. Lee was recommended by my daughter's general dentist as she has anxiety and tics for which she takes meds to control. My daughter was nervous going to the consultation but after meeting him all her anxiety was put at ease and was ready to schedule the extractions. He was very professional and took his time to answer all of our questions. I was eager to see my daughter after extractions and hear how it went due to her anxiety and tics. Surprisingly, my daughter was calm and she said she felt fine during the whole procedure. Later that day Dr. Lee sent me a text to check on her bleeding and how she was feeling. Following is feedback received from Dr. Lee regarding his (former) pathology lab vendor: Sorry about what happened with the pathology lab. This is an oral pathology lab associated with a world renowned pathologist Dr. Lewis R. Eversole. You can look him up if you want. I've reviewed my recent reports for other patients including yours and it appears that he is not reading out the specimens I send to the lab. This also coincides with their recent policy change not to accept insurances. Most likely he has retired. It did not come to my attention that patients were having problems with them until recently. This office has been using Dr Eversole's lab for decades without complaints. Since I can't change another practitioner's billing method our office decided to change the lab we send specimens to. Now that Dr Eversole is no longer reading out the specimens along with patient complaints I have no reason to stay with them. Again sorry about your negative experience with the lab. Los Alamitos Dental Care at 3551 Farquhar Ave., Suite 102 in Los Alamitos sent me to see Dr. Lee, an oral surgeon, after Dr. Zell tried several times to numb my back molar for extraction. He never wanted to attempt to remove it, but I begged him to try because I was in excruciating pain and my cheek was swollen. I told him that if he didn't take it out, I was going to! Despite all his efforts, he was unable to numb me enough for me to be comfortable. Finally, he referred me to Dr. Young H. Lee D.D.S., Inc., an oral surgeon. Dr. Lee's office staff got me into his office the very next day. Dr. Lee said that I was a true emergency and if he had known about my situation the day before, he would have had me come in, even though it was his day off. Dr. Lee was able to numb my gums and extract my tooth with only a few tugs and pinches. During the whole procedure he told me several funny stories and he kept me relaxed and amused. A few hours after the procedure, when I was at home relaxing, Dr. Lee, himself, even called to see how I was doing. How many professionals do that? Not many that I know of. Today, I went back for a recheck. It is President's Day, but luckily his office was open for people that work and need care on their day off. Dr. Lee assured me that my gum looked good and recommended that I return in four months, so he could do an x-ray to check to see if there had been any shifting of my teeth or bone. Dr. Young M. These guys are awesome, I was referred to from my dentist for wisdom teeth removal and that went well. Than I had a problem years later and went back on my own with no insurance. Had to have a piece of my gum removed that had overgrown because of the wisdom teeth removal, simple like 45 minute procedure and it was very inexpensive. Dr Lee and his assistant were pretty funny during it too, which did help relax me, because I went in pretty stressed out and a little nervous. read more

In April 2022, my daughter went to Dr. Lee to get her teeth pulled. He is not her regular dentist. I paid $1,700, on the date of the service, which was my out of pocket price for the procedure. The office waited until the end of the year to put the claim through my insurance. By this time, my daughter's dental benefits had been used and they charged me another $324.00. The lady I spoke to in the dental office, didn't make much sense and couldn't believe my daughter had other dentist needs after this procedure. Of course she did, this was for extractions only. I would think they would know they need to bill insurance right away. I would think they would know that my daughter wasn't a regular client and only a one time procedure. They ended up billing my insurance on 10/26/2022, after all the my daughter's dental benefits were used. I didn't get the benefit of waiting until October to pay my portion which was $1,700.00. They would not do the procedure without pre approval from the insurance company and without my out of pocket portion paid of $1,700.00, which was paid in full. Thank you for charging me an extra $324.00. This place is a rip off. I paid in full at the time of the procedure. I didn't owe any more money at all. What a joke. Be careful when you go to this office. Keep on top of them. Make sure they bill your insurance on time and correctly. I feel ripped off and swindled. read more

I needed a bridge removed and an extraction, jaw bone beefed up, and screws put in for implants. It was all done by Dr Lee. He explained everything to me. It was a long process, but it's over and went just as Dr Lee said it would. Dr Lee is a very gentle, pleasant man. He knows what he is doing. His staff is very welcoming, pleasant and helpful. I felt comfortable and was prepared for all I had to go through. I was in good hands. The staff also helped me with insurance. Dr Lee called me later in the day when I had surgeries, to make sure I was doing ok. It has been a long process but I am 100 percent satisfied with Dr Lee and his staff. Needed Bone graft and implant. Consultation with Dr. Lee was informative, genuine, and made me feel very comfortable to talk to, to ask questions and I felt his sincerity. On the day of Surgery, the assistant and Dr. Lee took very good care of me, gentle hands, he talks and tells me what he's about to do, eased my nervousness! Before he started, he reminded that he will know more once he started, may able to do both bone graft and implant at the same time! Which my situation did allow so! Came here to extract 3 impacted wisdom teeth recently. Dr. Lee was very friendly and caring. During the day of the surgery, he describe the entire process and prescribed me some pain killers for after the surgery. I was put under the lowest dose of general anesthesia and did not feel anything and was asleep until the last minute. It took about 1:30 hr including the consultation and surgery. The rest of the day, I was very sleepy and unproductive. I was bruised, swollen and looked like a chipmuck for a few days, but that was expected. I came in a week later for a follow up and it was extremely quick with about only 5 mins and didn't get the same welcoming experience, but I guess thats why it's a follow up. This is part of the reason why I didn't give 5 starts. In terms of the finances, my insurance covered about 60% of it as I have PPO and used my remaining annual amount here. I had to cover the difference. The other reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because the dental assistant didn't budge when I tried to negotiate. I'm a student and plan on referring my friends and family but I'm a little hesitant now that I didn't receive some sort of discount. read more

Having to endure oral surgery usually isn't viewed as the best of experiences. The thought of drills, pliers, and the taste of blood is not something to which people look forward. Luckily for me, I was referred to Dr. Lee's office for multiple extractions, and the whole process was problem-free, and darn near pain-free. I came in with my referral hoping to be seen as soon as possible, so that I could use the rest of my insurance allowance before losing it at the end of the year. I was shocked when the receptionist told me I could be seen the very next morning, so in I went. After a quick X-ray, Dr. Lee sat down with me and made sure I understood exactly what was going on with my teeth, what my options were, and what needed to be done during the procedure. I appreciated that he was so thorough, and made sure I was on the same page. By the end of the consultation, I knew which teeth were coming out, and how much it was going to cost me out of pocket. The surgery was, of course, the part I was nervous about, but it was honestly a breeze. Dr. Lee and his assistants were so personable and friendly, that my mind wasn't focused on the operation but the banter of trying to guess which singer was crooning Christmas tunes on iHeartradio. Within 10 minutes the sedation set in, and before I knew it, they were finishing up the sutures. I hardly felt a thing the entire time I was in the seat. Fast-forward to the next day, and I am impressed at how little discomfort I am feeling. In fact, the only downside is that I can't eat a big fat cheeseburger right now, but that can wait. I just had my wisdom teeth removed on 5/12, the procedure went along FLAWLESSLY, I was put under a local anesthetic as well as novocaie for general comfort. I will admit I was nervous at first not going under general anesthesia as I've heard it's a very uncomfortable experience. However, Dr Lee Assured me that the local+Novacaine would be fine, so I trusted him. I faded in and out of consciousness throughout the procedure, and before I knew it he was finished. I felt absolutely nothing throughout the procedure. I will say that Dr Lee is VERY honest and very, VERY informative, he was very courteous and honestly answered every one of my questions with utmost profession and care. I even received a follow-up call from Dr Lee himself later that afternoon, here I sit 4 days later and I'm still a bit sore, but nothing that wouldn't be expected having four Wisdom Teeth yanked out. All of my wisdom teeth had grown in with no problems except my bottom left one. And once it did it was so painful to the point where I couldn't open my mouth. So I needed it removed asap. Called the office Nov. 19th and said they could do the surgery the very next day. I was extremely happy about that. Went in first thing in the morning, Dr. Lee explained everything that was going to happen and made me feel comfortable. Next I was out and about 45 mins later it was over and I was waking up. Dr. Lee asked how I was feeling and gave me an overview of what happened and told me I had infection which is why this one hurt so much but I didn't feel a thing throughout the surgery. I felt so great that I even went to the hunger game premier that night! And the very next day I went to the Usher concert! I was in no pain, only took 2 of the pain pills prescribed and only to make me fall asleep fast the first 2 nights because sleeping with gauze in your mouth isn't the best feeling ever. I had to ice my face an hour before leaving anywhere so I wasn't so swollen looking and of course I couldn't eat solid food for a few days but I was able to eat just fine for thanksgiving! My consultation was very thorough and informative and Dr. Lee is very kind and knowledgeable and he went over everything with me and he was very receptive to letting me choose my own path towards what type of sedation I would like to use. This was important to me because most oral surgeons really push IV sedation, but I really didn't want that. I was able to do nitrous and was very pleased with my experience. I have been having my kids see Dr. Lee since 2017. He has an awesome reception area and he's good too. He's got that triple-threat going on. ((Pure COMPLIMENT!!) He has a good bedside manner, he's got a sense of humor, and he's a good Dr, so rare. He has removed wisdom teeth from 2 of my kids, now adults, exposed impacted eye teeth attaching chains to pull up eye teeth over time for ortho, and soon, 2 more kids are getting their wisdom teeth out. Not everything has to be a do-it now thing. He gives a time frame as to when things might change, and they did. There's no guilt tripping or panic office visits. Everything is calm and just like hanging out with familiar people. I've been to another local oral surgeon and they do not compare in positive way. Only wish I was smart enough to trust Dr Lee when my son had a lipoma removed from his tongue. If you are searching for that Oral Surgeon, truly, give Dr. Lee a call. A nurse friend referred him to us and she has a track record of giving us 100% in not letting us down with referrals. He cares about his patients. Calls after surgery to see how they are recovering. I never EVER write bad reviews for businesses because I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I really had a horrible experience here. I originally called the office to set up a consultation to get my wisdom teeth removed. I let the lady on the phone know that I was going to multiple different Dr's and then would later decide who I chose for the procedure. So, I show up to the consultation, met with Dr Lee(for no more then 10 minutes) and should have been on my way. When I get to the front desk to get the estimate for removing my wisdom teeth, they tell me that I owe $130......what....? I've been to multiple Dr's for consultations and have never been charged a dime. I told the woman at the front desk that no one ever told me I was going to be charged, and she just said, "Oh, really? They should have." Okay, well they didn't and I refuse to pay. I am a full time college student, and if I would have known it was going to be 130 dollars for a 10 min consultation, I would have never came in. After going back and fourth for a while the same woman ended up saying, "Oh, well we don't disclose our prices over the phone." Buuuuut 5 minutes ago you just told me that they should have told me when I originally set up the appointment? The whole thing didn't make much sense, and I felt like woman was extremely rude. I ended up leaving the office without paying, knowing that they would be in contact with me. Over a month goes by, and I finally get an invoice in the mail, asking for the $130. I immediately called the office, and nicely explained my situation. The woman on the phone said she would talk to Dr. Lee and would get back to me to let me know if they can waive the consultation fee. Now, again over a month later, I get a phone call from the same woman saying that Dr. Lee will not waive the fee, and I am still expected to pay. I personally work in customer service, where we do Initial Consultations(which are only $65 for an HOUR, not $130 for 10 minutes), and we ALWAYS inform our potential new clients of that initial fee BEFORE they come in. That is the way business works. You need to inform new clients of these things, so that exactly this doesn't happen. I'm so upset that they were so unprofessional in handling the situation and I'm also extremely upset that Dr.Lee is so money hungry for this $130. Again, I stated I am a college student and cannot afford to pay for such an expensive consultation, especially on top of the expensive procedure. P.S. The Dr was very brief and not very warm when doing the consultation, and the price was much higher then other quotes I got from other Doctors, so needless to say, I wouldn't have chose him even if this whole ordeal didn't happen. I ended up getting my wisdom teeth removed by an AMAZING doctor in Garden Grove and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience with them. My experience actually happened 4 years ago. I brought my daughter in to get her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Young H. Lee in Los Alamitos. Having had a bad experience with anesthesia myself I was very concerned my daughter might also have a bad reaction. I had done my research and had discovered that, though rare, tragic deaths of some children have occurred while getting their wisdom teeth extracted. From the articles I read the most important question to ask your surgeon was "who will be watching the monitors while the surgery is being conducted?" When I asked this question of Dr. Young H. Lee he replied that he was very experienced and that he was capable of watching the monitors and performing the surgery. Knowing that this was not the safest way to proceed I asked him to reassure me that he could do both. Apparently, I hit a nerve because the nice doctor changed personalities in a flash. He threw my daughter's file into the air and yelled at us to get out, he would not do her surgery. My daughter, who is the sweetest girl you could ever meet was confused and terrified by his behavior. I am not an abrasive person at all, I was just a concerned parent. Please do your own research and ask the hard questions. 10/15/14Update: I have been put on notice by Dr. Lee for legal actions regarding my review. As an abundance of caution I have edited my comments to satisfy his concerns. In addition I would like to include in my review Dr Lee's statement regarding his surgical assistants. "I need to tell you my surgical assistants are licensed RDAs, certified by the California association of oral and maxilofacial surgeons in surgical and anesthesia assisting and in addition some even have an operating room surgical technician certification. " I would also like to clarify that a surgical assistant was not offered for my daughter's proposed surgery. I do not know why. read more

Like many of you I've put some miles on this body (and its teeth). After many fillings, a couple of crowns, and TWO root canals in ONE SINGLE TOOTH, it was time for me to say "goodbye" to my poor-ole Tooth #31. It just so happens that my dentist's father (see one of my other reviews for Los Alamitos Dental - re. Dr. Winer) sold his practice many years ago to Dr. Lee, who has been expertly at the reins for over 10 years now ... so naturally Dr. Winer referred me to Dr. Lee. Please know that dental implants are a PROCESS that needs to be precise, and you need to follow every step of that process to the letter. Dr. Lee and his staff ensured that I knew what was happening with each step of the way, and I even got some good advice on my golf swing at no extra charge! Yes, his personality is as warm as his smile, and he and each of his assistants show genuine concern for your well being. So, after all was done, and there was a strong implant in my jaw bone (where the roots of Tooth #31 used to be), I went around the corner to Dr. Winer to prep for the final abutment and crown. And Dr. Winer said it best ... "Another perfect job done by Dr. Lee." A review just can't get any better than that, can it?? Thank you Dr. Lee. You're the real deal ... even though Tooth #31 will be a beautiful and painless fake. :-) read more

He is honest and does not try to overcharge you for procedures you do not need. went in to get 2 impacted canines out and he told me that he would not advise extracting them. I was a cash patient and he could have obviously made alot of money off of me, but saved me an unnecessary surgery. He takes the time to talk and explain everything thoroughly to his patients. had 4 wisdom teeth surgically removed by him in the past and he did such a wonderful job. It was nearly painless and the recovery time was quick. If i need any oral surgery procedure done in the future, I would definitely only go back to Dr. Lee. My "regular" dentist referred me to Dr. Lee for the extraction of 3 wisdom teeth. Why only 3, and not 4? I had one removed 10 years ago at a questionable dentist in Mexico............but thats a WHOLE different review. I mention the Mexico fiasco, because it was horrible, I felt tortured,,,with no pain killers. It was literally a dentist sticking his hand into my mouth with pliers and yanking a half impacted tooth out. I even got some nerve damage from that experience. I want you to have some clue as to how scared I was about having the other 3 wisdom teeth removed. From my initial consultation with Dr. Lee,,,,to the after care appointments,,,,,,,,everything went really, really great at Dr. Lee's office. All the people that work in the office are kind, and very professional. I was able to make my appointments in a timely manner,,,,and they were at convenient times for me. I had my surgery on 2/23/15. Dr. Lee explained to me exactly what needed to be done to remove my teeth. I opted to be asleep for the procedure. I just couldn't handle being awake. Not after "the Mexico incident". The day of the surgery,,,,I was nervous,,,,,,but it happened to be the day after the Academy Awards,,,,,so while I was being prepped for the surgery,,,,,,,,,,,,Dr. Lee distracted me with conversation about the awards the night before. He explained everything he was getting ready to do..but kept me talking and tried to keep me relaxed. The next thing I know,,,Im drowsy, but being walked into the recovery room. Done!!!. My husband came to pick me up. They had us watch a "film" on the aftercare,,,gave us a prescription for painkillers,,,,and off I went. So,,,after a few days, the two upper wisdom teeth already felt healed. The lower one,,,,,,it had developed dry socket. Something that can't really be avoided with a lower wisdom tooth extraction. I was in severe pain. It was the weekend,,,so I called Dr. Lees office,,,left a message,,,and HE called me RIGHT back. He told me to take some ibuprofen,,,keep rinsing with salt water,,,,and then wanted me in the office first thing in the morning. So I went in,,,,,,,they packed my dry socket. The pain went away IMMEDIATELY. They packed it once on Monday, then on Thursday. After that,,,,,it was great. No more wisdom teeth,,,no more packing,,,no more pain. Today is 3/20/15,,,,I feel all better!! I wrote this review, because I would go back to Dr. Lee in a heartbeat for any oral surgery matters. He did a great job. Went to Dr. Lee for 1 Wisdom Tooth and Because it was Such a Pleasant Experience (Yes, not that bad, not like some Horror stories I've heard); I went back for 2 More Wisdom Teeth pulled!! He is such a Nice man! Talks you thru so you don't feel so nervous! His staff is caring, and not fake. They really do seem to care. Later Dr. Lee CALLED! Yes! A Dr. ACTUALLY CALLED! To see how I was doing! Not just a nurse, office person, or student, But the Dr. HIMSELF!! UNBELIEVABLE IN THESE DAYS!! NO ONE GIVES THIS KIND OF SERVICE OR CARING!!! I had my wisdom teeth extraction today and the surgery went on without a hitch! Dr. Lee and his staff are so kind and accommodating, and the surgery itself wasn't painful - it honestly felt like 2 minutes when I was administered anesthesia. When I woke up from the surgery, yes, my whole mouth was swollen and numb but it was nothing that I wasn't expecting. Luckily, the doctor informed me about everything to expect before, during, and after the surgery. He even gave me a follow-up call hours after the surgery to make sure I was alright. Honestly, Dr. Lee is very professional, kind, and very good at what he does! If you are planning to get your wisdom teeth taken out, I would definitely suggest getting a consultation with Dr. Lee because I am very glad that I chose him as my oral surgeon. read more

I went to Dr Lee for a second opinion and pain relief for a severe chemical burn on my gum that exposed bone. Worst decision I ever made. First, he decided to waste an entire hour of my time by tending to this non-emergent workup for an orthodontic patient needing extractions. That other guy could've waited for 5-10 minutes for Dr Lee to do a quick workup and give me pain relief. I was in excruciating pain, and crying. I also overheard him asking his staff "Now you did tell him that I'd be seeing him after my scheduled patients?" "Oh yes, we did." LIAR. When he finally got around to me, he never introduced himself, or said he was sorry I'm going through so much pain. I kept telling him I was in horrible pain (imagine having salt in an open wound containing a broken bone), and he kept saying he believes me, but steadfastly refused to prescribe me narcotics or topical anesthetics. I asked him for a nerve block, but he said that'd only last a few hours; I'd GLADLY take a few hours of relief from this horrific pain. He also said to watch and wait. "It's just a large canker sore; it'll heal in two weeks, take some warm saltwater rinses". Any idiot could tell (except this one!) that canker sores a) do not expose bone, and b) do not require Vicodin for pain relief. Any lesion that has exposed bone needs to be covered to prevent osteomyelitis, as well as the fact that exposed bone is extremely sensitive; I scream everytime I take my pain meds (I'm up to two Vicodin 5/500, and two Benadryl) when the water touches the exposed area. He said to just use some Orajel, which only lasts 10 minutes, and doesn't penetrate very deeply. And, it only numbs the surface pain, not the deep pain I was experiencing. I also told him I had a low-grade fever, and he said that it was likely unrelated, maybe a virus. Any physician who's gone through any training knows that a patient with a fever that started soon after a wound most likely has an infection of said wound! And since I have exposed bone, I may have the beginnings of osteomyelitis, a serious bone infection. So I asked for him to prescribe PFG, a topical mix of lidocaine, procaine, and tetracaine that's used for fillings and deep cleanings, and would've worked wonderfully because it penetrates a lot farther. He said "No, that's too dangerous, and even if I wrote you a prescription, your pharmacy can't order it, because it can only be used in a dental office." So order it yourself, and give it to me! He proceeded to charge us $330 for an entire wasted afternoon. I left the office in tears, because of the pain I was in and his idiocy and complete lack of people skills. I was expecting some relief from my torment, and instead I got treated like I was hysterical. Dr Lee needs his licensed suspended, and ordered to go to sensitivity training. I honestly think he has Asperger's syndrome, because no normal individual has ever displayed such a profound lack of compassion to me. read more

Two of my children had their wisdom teeth removed (on two separate occasions) and my experience was excellent. The process from beginning to end was pretty much seamless. The MD and his office staff were very informative and helpful. Dr. Lee even took the time to call and check on each of my children after their procedures. I had a great experience with Dr Lee and his office. Not only was I able to get an appointment for consultation and extraction on the same day but my experience was painless. I even saw one of their staff take their time and patience with an elderly lady on her visit. Then Dr Lee himself called me himself to make sure I was feeling OK later on in the day. I have been going to Dr. Lee for many years now. He is Gentle and Kind and he and his Staff treat you family. They bend over backwards to help in every way. You can't go wrong. And the prices are unbeatable especially if you dont have insurance. This Dr. by now way is a rip off. He is one of the greatest and the same staff all the time. I've never had any kind of reason to go to the hospital, never needed any kind of surgery and definitely hadn't been to the dentist since probably middle school, and so when I realized I needed to get my wisdom teeth taken out, I was scared the whole week leading up to my appointment and even had a couple nightmares. Lucky for me, Dr. Lee and his staff were absolutely wonderful and comforting from start to finish. I got my teeth extracted 5 days ago - I have had no pain whatsoever from 3 of my teeth that had no problems coming out, but some pain in the socket that held my impacted tooth that had to get extracted in pieces. I'm kind of laughing at myself for how much I freaked myself out before the surgery because everything went so smoothly. I was in and out before I knew it. I'm always skeptical of medical professionals because you hear horror stories all the time, but my experience with Dr. Lee was the complete opposite. I highly recommend this place, and will be sending my family members here in the future. Remember to sleep with your head elevated and seriously... please do those hot salt water rinses every 3 hours and after every meal. read more

Very dissatisfied with the staff. They ran my dental insurance with United health group wrong. I have great dental insurance so now they are overcharging me based on the wrong information. I have called several times to try to fix the problem and they're having a hard time figuring out who I am and when they find my account in the system they just say oh we will call you back. After the fourth time of trying to resolve this problem Melissa said I will call you back on Monday this was Friday. I had heard enough. The latest bill states they are going to send me to collections for $203.70. The only thing that I had done in the office that day was an x-ray. Because they ran the insurance wrong they are now sending me these outrages bills but are not willing to resolve the issue or change make any adjustments. This is a terrible dental office I don't recommend this office to anybody. Unless you want to overpay, don't go there. read more
