The GREAT WHITE PIZZA. Customized: remove feta, add tomato, onion, basil, chicken and fresh mozzarella
Allen L.

I was not expecting to like Your Pie so much! It's been on my radar for quite some time but I made the mistake of thinking it's just another Pieology or Blaze. While they share similarities, such as the build you own pizza, unlimited toppings for one price and quickly cooked in a coal oven. There's several attributes that set them apart for me. First is the wonderful crust that's far superior. Second, the quality of ingredients is noticeably better here. Finally, I appreciate that you can order different size pies such as the large 14". I like a combination of White and Margherita. For my order I started with their Great White as a base and customized it to my liking. I removed the feta, added fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato and onions. Also chicken for a little protein. I found it convenient to order online however I would prefer to go in so I can customize exactly how much of each ingredient I want on the pizza. Pickup was easy. Got there right as the pizza was coming out of the oven. Was told to take a seat and she will bring it out when it's done. Kind enough to ask if I needed peppers or Parmesan before heading out. Of course the pizza was absolutely delicious, not too greasy and also reheated really well. Happy to make Your Pie part of my regular rotation!

Big pasta mistake. I ordered the meatball penne pasta. They grabbed precooked pasta and added marinara and ricotta and mixed it before me in a tin. Not so appetizing. Then they grabbed precut meatball chunks before covering everything with mozzarella. The presentation was acceptable. The result however left much more to be desired. The pasta was very dry and inundated with cheese. More marinara might have helped but I was truly disappointed. My wife's pizza was good but this was not the best use of $40. I asked if bread was available and I was told that this was not a true Italian restaurant. The table was cleaned upon request but the benches and chairs were designed to move you out quickly. Not a cushioned seat in the house. Lighting and music were adequate.

My empty plate. I ate the whole pie!

My first time here. Never heard of before so I thought I would share my experience. Great concept of building your own pie. From the size, sauce, toppings. I ordered the smaller pie of 7 inch and did a #5, Hot Honey Pepperoni. Holy WOW!!! Let's just say adding the basil and honey after baking is brilliant!! The service was perfec! What's missing is music, and a sense of excitement and energy. The interior is spot on! It has a feeling of it's been here a while. Brick walls, iron piping for dividers, but it needs some music. A sound system or jukebox. Overall I love this place. Highly recommended.

It was my last day in Palm Springs and my friend and I decided to get a pizza from Your Pie which was literally next door to the Tesla SUpercharger (I needed a super-charge before heading home). The ordering process was pretty easy as I did it online via the website. I ordered a personal size Lineage pizza and my friend ordered the Nat's Chicken Pesto Bake. My order was ready in about 20 minutes and I drove home with it. The restaurant itself was very quiet with only one table that was occupied so I was able to pick up my order quickly. Service was quick and professional. The pizza itself was quite with a fairly thin crust (which I prefer). The personal size pizza was perfect for one person and my friend enjoyed the pasta. For a quick and easy bite, I will come by here again.

Pizzzzzza!

What a great job tonight busy, but all working together to get the pie out. All the staff was calm and very polite. So impressed!

Very good pizza, toppings are actually enjoyable. I can definitely say you'll enjoy this place better than BLAZE PIZZA.

The menu might be considered small however plenty of excellent choices for everyone's palate. We started with martinis Aviation gin for me & Ketel 1 for my hubs complete with bleu cheeses olives served tall & verrry cold. Our appetizer choice, the deep fried artichokes served with a creamy tasty aioli nicely presented however a bit over salted for our tastes, hence the 4.5 vs 5 stars. We came in to Italica wanting pasta the Bolognese with wild boar/fennel sausage arrived practically overflowing from the bowl, easily could have served 2 or possibly an appetizer to share at the table. My choice the Spaghetti Alio Olio presented bucatini pasta with bread crumbs & pecorino cheese ~ OOOOH MY, sooooo DELICIOUS my bowl was inhaled. Mid meal we ordered the prosciutto ~ fig jam flatbread just perfection the jam adding sweetness in every crunchy bite. To full from our appetizer & pasta we skipped dessert this trip but we'll be back!!!!!! as the drive to Indio from Palm Desert is maybe 30 min (+\~) easy & plentiful FREE PARKING be sure to look for the all stainless patchwork door for entry, once inside relax & enjoy the vibe.

Kiki's is back! The…read moreengaging owner, Jack, is a valley institution, having owned 22 restaurants in 35+ years. Burrata: excellent quality with the crave worthy house-made focaccia. Kiki's Sala: salanova lettuce is unusual but tasty -- like arugula without the bitterness. This is a large portion which you could share with four people as an appetizer. Sugar Snap Pea pizza: unexpected flavors with snap peas, mushrooms, & stracciatella. Table was divided on whether this worked. Cacio e Pepe: this version uses bucatini and is a little creamier than the classic. I ate it all regardless. Grilled Avocado: the name ignores that it includes fried artichokes as well. Satisfying and not too garlicky. Another large portion. The only disappointing item was the Polenta -- a little bland. If you get the Chicken Parm, you only need a half portion. Jack says the best two dishes are the Caesar and Linguini & Clams. They fly in Juniors cheesecake from NY! Full bar, attractive ambiance, and well trained staff. Go to Kiki's.

What really impressed us was the owner making the rounds to personally greet each table--it added such a personal, heartfelt touch that you don't often see. As for the food, it absolutely delivered. The chicken parm was perfectly cooked with rich, comforting flavors, and the hanger steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Between the exceptional service and the delicious dishes, this was one of those meals that leaves you already planning your next visit.

Ciros is a long time staple in the community and has been open since the 60's - which is beyond impressive in these times. We should all continue to support our local staples that have been serving generation after generation. We came in for a super early weeknight dinner and that was the right move. The place was empty and relaxed. However, as we finished our meal a slow trickle of people started to come in which was nice to see. Not sure if this spot ever gets "packed" but it had a good amount of regulars and plenty of takeout orders. We sat at a comfortable booth and I liked the decor. Very old school, slightly aged, but all of the nostalgic vibes that if you were a local growing up here, it'd feel like home. What's also cool is they have an open area kitchen in the front of the restaurant so you can watch the chef make your pizzas. Loved it. Staff was friendly, efficient and attentive. Again, they weren't busy but staff kept our drinks filled, cleared plates as needed and provided great service. 5 stars definitely on the service and overall welcoming atmosphere. Prices were standard and I will say they give great portion sizes. All of us had leftovers to take home which is always a good thing. The food is standard old school Italian. Very mom And pop, decent. I'd say I'd rate the food between 3.5-4 stars but it really depends what you get. My starter side salad was crisp, fresh and well dressed with thousand island. Also the bread basket was warm and addicting. For my meal I got the shrimp scampi pasta which I thought was good but not amazing. The highlights were the large shrimp and noodles were cooked perfect. The oil - lemon - garlic sauce overall was just okay. Garlic was garlic-ing but it lacked maybe seasoning? I think scampi pasta dishes can be hard to master as they sometimes feel more oil forward than buttery, which I would have preferred. I definitely liked my dish but would get something different the next time. Truly their classic baked pasta and red sauce dishes looked fantastic and I'd get that next time, can't beat a classic.

I made reservations at MG's, based on online recommendations, and were welcomed so warmly by the staff and manager. They seated us at a nice, spacious booth and promptly took our drink order. We were greeted by our waiter, George, shortly thereafter and welcomed as first timers. George was incredibly helpful with appetizer suggestions and explaining specials and options for sharing. The wait-staff was incredibly attentive with water and drink refills, bread and butter, continuously asking if we needed anything. I ordered the mushroom soup (for an appetizer) based on the online reviews. And I DON'T like mushrooms!!!! It was AMAZING! (I liked it so much that I went back the next day to get it again! LOL) We shared the Caesar and Mamma Gina salads, cheese ravioli w/ alfredo sauce, shrimp scampi and pasta bolognese. Everything was beyond wonderful! The manager came over to check on us and make sure we were enjoying everything. Our waiter, George, continued to check and see if we were happy with the food and needed anything. The dining room has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that feels family-friendly while still maintaining an upscale ambiance. It was also nice to be greeted with complimentary bread service--something that seems to be disappearing from many restaurants these days. Service was good overall, although our server could have been a bit more attentive. The manager stopped by our table to check on us, which was appreciated and added a nice personal touch. For my entrée, I ordered the Spaghetti alla Carbonara, and it was fabulous. The smoky pancetta paired perfectly with the sauce, which had just the right amount of creaminess--not too rich and not too dry. My husband chose the Cannelloni alla Fiorentina, homemade crepes filled with fresh ricotta and spinach, topped with tomato sauce and béchamel. He thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Our daughter ordered the filet. It was cooked perfectly and incredibly tender, though the flavor was a bit more subdued than expected. To finish our meal, we shared the Crostata al Cioccolato, a flourless chocolate tart with an almond butter crust. It was absolutely delicious and the perfect ending to the evening. We highly recommend Ristorante Mamma Gina and only wish we had a restaurant like this in our hometown.
