I was being verbally told about more than $3,000 worth of dental work. I was never provided a written treatment plan. I repeatedly explained that I am a low-income single mother and simply could not afford thousands of dollars in treatment. Instead of respecting my answer, she continued pushing financing and credit and even asking whether I had a husband or partner who could help me pay. Then, after making me feel completely humiliated about what I could and could not afford, she had the audacity to point out that I still had my cleaning because "it's free," emphasizing the one thing I could afford, as though I needed to be reminded of my financial situation. I was visibly upset and other employees could clearly see what was happening. Instead of anyone stepping in, they stayed back and watched the interaction unfold. I cannot speak to what they were thinking but the fact that nobody intervened while a patient was obviously distressed made the entire environment even more uncomfortable. And here is the most concerning part: I got a second opinion. What your office verbally presented to me as more than $3,000 in dental work including removing a root and filling a cavity turned out to be a broken filling. So please do not reduce my experience to your employee simply "coming across as pushy." I was pressured about money after repeatedly saying no, questioned about finding a partner to help pay, embarrassed about receiving a "free" cleaning, and verbally presented with thousands of dollars in dental treatment that another dentist subsequently told me I did not need as it had been represented. Patients deserve to feel safe at a dental office not pressured, humiliated, or frightened into finding a way to pay for thousands of dollars of treatment.

I came in for a regular cleaning and based off looking at some Live Photos of my teeth, the dentist said I needed a deep cleaning for $600! No periodontal chart, no examining the xrays! (There was just some stains and some build up). He was asking me a ton of questions like he was trying to find a "gotcha" answer, and use that to justify a deep cleaning. "Do you smoke, do you drink, do you take supplements?" Yadi yadi ya. I have had a deep cleaning before and I was never asked these many questions (Like I was being interrogated). Previous dentist would just look at the xray and pockets to make an objective decisions. He was also acting like he was super concerned about my teeth and that this was devastating for me (I give the acting a 7/10, it was pretty decent). He then said he will see what he can do and drop some services during the deep cleaning and hook me for $160 for the deep cleaning. I walked out and talked to two different dentists/hygienist for a 2nd opinion and they said I definitely did not need a deep cleaning! The other dental office did a regular cleaning, removed the stains and build up and I was good to go. This place is so shady and unethical and needs to be reported to the BBB if you fell victim to one of their upsales. Please do not fall for their trap and seek second opinions.

New dentist informed me I have a root canal again on that same tooth. Which was strange because it was only 4 years since that procedure. The crown didn't fit properly and was not sealed close to my gums. New dentist informed me 4 canals should've been cleaned not 3, as 1 was missed when new dentist went in to retreat. Starting with a consultation, Dr. Kang's knowledge and professionalism was immediately apparent, and gave me the confidence to select him for what could be a problematic implant removal and replacement. Dr. Kang took a strong interest in my case and even contacted the implant manufacturer for my specific type of implant, who volunteered whatever technical assistance may be required to remove the damaged fixture. Within a few weeks I had an appointment and Dr. Kang went to work. After a reasonable amount of time and considering this was a difficult situation, he was able to remove the damaged implant and prepare the gum for a new crown, using state-of-the-art electronic measuring equipment. Two weeks later he installed my new crown which fit and functioned perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better result in what I previously thought might be a hopeless situation. The price was very reasonable and Dr. Kang's staff did a wonderful job assisting him. On top of the excellent workmanship, Dr. Kang is very friendly, easy to talk to and takes a sincere interest in his patient's understanding of the process and their overall satisfaction. I am grateful for the excellent care that was provided and highly recommend Dr. Kang for anyone that may be considering an implant.

Not a place I would ever go to again. I have long been away…read morefrom this dentist office but this review is important to make because of the way the dentist behaved. My insurance coverage covered white fillings and he continually pushed for metal/silver fillings for my child. I did not initially know that they only offer metal fillings, which is what he said. I did not want the metal ones so after the exam I said I would go somewhere else where my coverage was to my liking. He was very pushy and did not want to let me leave without explaining what he wanted to do--my small child and I were literally in the corner. I'm not sure why I stayed and let him speak to me this way, but I did. He was loud and yelled far more than I should have allowed and now that I've made some peace with the situation I know how bad it was. He said I should save my money and pay for books for my young child instead of paying out of pocket for white fillings. I said I did not want to and it was fine because surely another dentist would do it and it will NOT be out of pocket. I'm not sure where he assumed that white fillings are a rarity but the following month I went to another dentist and my children never had to get silver fillings. I can't be sure what he was so angry about or why our choices bother him, and it didn't make sense. I think there were probably some untruths about what type of fillings they offer or something to do with his business side +insurance payouts. One can only speculate because this truly was a bizarre situation. I could not trust Dr. L and would never advise anyone to go to him, not with that kind of behavior.
