Wow! What a yummy place! Great Korean food! Healthy too! Owner was very nice. I had the Kimchee pancake that was tasty! We ordered the Korean street food platter that gives a taste of a few things:) The Dolsot Bibimbap bowl with bulgogi beef was sooo good AND they got the crispy rice bottom perfect! My friend got the Korean stir fried Udon that i really liked too! Udons were soft but chewy and had the good stir fry flavor. My other friend got the Salmon Poke bowl. For most dishes you pick out the ingredients you want in the dish, there are a variety of sauces they top it with and also fried garlic onions and tempura flakes! If ya into Boba tea they have it! Yuck. Definitely Not Korean. That should be the name, seriously. Marketing Korean street food in the Weston Town Center, Yuk not Korean is a slap in the face to the beautifully melding flavors of authentic and innovative modern Korean cuisine. It is a fast casual sort of place--order at register upon entry, served food but not waited on. We ordered the japache with Bulgogi, Korean Fried Chicken, bao bun and Korean Pancakes (seafood). The bulgogi on the japache was dry like leather and tasteless. I could not discern any flavor of pear and soy that are classic to bulgogi. The only saving grace were the sweet potato glass noodles which are readily available at Bolay or a Korean grocer. The Korean fried chicken is reminiscent of frozen cuisine--P.F. Chang's home menu or a bulk brand of orange chicken from a bulk goods grocer like Costco. The pieces were small and dry. Korean fried chicken I'm used to are larger pieces that are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, coated with a spicy tangy vibrant red sauce. But Yuck not Korean's fried chicken was dry and the sauce was very diluted to tasting almost like nothing. The Korean pancakes were so greasy that I had to squeeze off the excess oil and there was still a lot. They had a significant amount of egg and overdid it on the Krab stick--it had a weirdly unpleasant taste. The bao buns are a ticking time bomb- the buns are not fresh, we're clearly microwaved and went from chewy to dry within moments. The flavors were otherwise unimpressive. If you want Korean there are certainly other options that are better able to showcase the best cuisine. read more

Wanted to like this place, but didn't meet expectations. Giving 2 vs a 1 is because the people that work there were super friendly. Ordered a bit of food to give it a try and scratch this restaurant off the list. What was good to order: Bulgogi Ramen. The rest of the items were meh...ordered pork dumplings, kimchi pancakes, chicken (super hard chicken, difficult to chew), fried rice (lacked flavor), udon noodles (very sweet if your into Korean cuisine that's sweet), and the smoothie banana and strawberries was watered down. I went for the easiest thing to cook in the menu Katsu. I've had a lot of Katsu in my life and this is by far the worse. I never leave food in my plate I always clean my plate not even a grain of rice. Well guess what ? I left food in my plate this is how bad it was. The katsu was not only over fried, the pork cut was so thin I thought I was eating a breaded slice of ham. The batter and breading was too thick. It was almost border line burnt. The rice was hard like yo how do you mess up white rice?. I've paid $70 for Kurobuta katsu in Japan just like I've paid $15 for Katsu at the mall's food court. This was worse than the mall's katsu. Thank God I didn't order something else and I was in the mood for japchae. Won't be coming back I don't see this place getting better. read more

This food was really good, and a wonderful option! The salad with chicken and tasty dressing was generously portioned and fresh. The spare ribs and rice with kimchi was terrific. The meat was very tender and well seasoned. The kimchi had just the right amount of heat. We liked the bubble tea, also. It was a shame that they didn't have great outdoor seating at the time of our visit. I had seen lots of tables into the parking area in evening but during the day there is a tiny bit is space on the sidewalk, and with the full sun at that time it was uncomfortable. My friend and I love Korean food and have been wanting to try out this place. It's rare to have a new restaurant in Weston, let alone a new Korean joint! So needless to say, we were looking forward to it. Walking in and looking at the menu, we were impressed with it. Counter processed were easy, then that's where things started to go wrong. We paid for our food (tips optional), then were told to move to the left and given the receipt to hand to the lady to make our food. My friend ordered the Dolsot Bibimbap and I ordered the Spicy Pork BBQ platter. We handed the lady the receipt and she made our bowls. My friend's bowl came out looking great. It was sizzling hot, rice with meat and 5 side items ($13). Mine was a mere paper bowl lukewarm with rice, meat and 5 side items ($18). Supposed to be sizzling pork platter? But oh well.... Side item choices were ginger, cilantro, peppers, seaweed salad, cucumbers, shredded carrots, jalapeño, radish. A bit disappointing too. You were allowed 1 sauce choice. We took our bowls and went to our seats. At this point, I was a bit disappointed with my $18 bowl, I thought my friends bowl looked so much better! Taste wise, I would say they were good, the meat was flavorful seeing that it came out of a steam table and the vegetables were standard fresh, the rice was nicely cooked but not for $18 price. At most Korean places, you get your lunch set for far less plus you get ban chan sides, for unlimited amount. So here's the kicker, 30 mins into us eating, comes the server with a platter that is no longer sizzling and announces my order of spicy pork platter. My friend and I looked at each other. A bit confused. She asked if I ordered it, I said "yes.... but I already I have my food? " then she turned around and walks back to the kitchen before I could even asked another question... I took out my receipt and checked what I paid and indeed it was spicy pork platter and went up to the counter to clarify what I just received as a bowl earlier. The lady that made and handed me the bowl walked over to our table and said in half broken English "you eat this already, you said you want this, this is spicy pork!" "You take this!" Very rudely and as she picked up my half eaten bowl and she said "you pay this?" "You stand in line, you ask for spicy pork, you get 5 sides, you ask for this! This is yours. You eat already. No more!" as she looked at my receipt and tried to figure out the situation. As we said was "listen lady, this is our first time here and how are we supposed to know what a platter is supposed to look like or where are we supposed to go to get food if it's a platter vs bowl?" "I ordered a spicy pork platter and paid $18 for it, and what I got was a bowl? This is not right" She was still grossly trying to grab my bowl and holding on to it and I just said "you know what lady, that's it.. I'm done with this store, and your manners... this is our first and last visit to your restaurant if this is the way you are going to run it. You don't have to argue anymore. Take your bowl and take your platter back, I don't want your food". 3 minutes of this ridiculous argument in front of everyone and the owner finally came out and shoo the line worker back to her station. She barely apologies and instead makes excuses as such that her line worker doesn't know what she's talking about, her line worker is an older lady and her store is new, she couldn't really understand the situation, so please excuse her, etc.... honestly, a sincere apology should suffice instead of going on and on. She asked us if we still wanted the now room temperature platter of unappetizing plate of spicy pork bbq that is sitting in front of us. We should try it and doggie back it for later consumption. That was it. There wasn't a refund of purchase or any offering of "hey, how about a free dessert on the house". Not that we would even want to take that at this point. Table next to us mentioned that their ice drink had a cup full of ice filled to the brim, and all they said was "oh, would you like me to dump out some ice?" I looked over and the cup was literally filled with 80% ice to the top. Long story short, overpriced food, mediocre service, never going back there again. Better options around town.. try Myung Ga if you're in Weston and craving for Korean. You won't be disappointed. read more

After three take out meals, I can give this place a full endorsement. Everything has been properly prepared and delicious. The stars of the show are the Galbi and boolgooki, both very tasty. The full Korean restaurant experience with banchan is missing, but carry out Korean is a real treat. My only time in the store is when I am there for pickup. Each time, there has been a short line of patrons either ordering take out or picking up food. Inside, the place smells great and has been spotlessly clean. I was super skeptical about ordering from here as I do not have the best luck with restaurants in Weston being very good. Decided to make it our weekly cheat meal and we were glad we did! We placed our order through yelp for pick up. Ordering process was super easy and quick. Probably took about 25 minutes total for it to be ready. Their take out game is strong. Super professionally clean and packaged. When we arrived home everything was still in perfect condition without leaks and pretty hot. I liked that they had everything in tin foil, and then inside the cute take out box. We ordered the beef bulgogi, spicy pork, pork mandu, kimchi pancake and the teeok-bokki with cheese (add the cheese, thank me later). We frequent other local korean restaurants and this is probably one of my new favorites. Some people might think its a little pricey, but if you eat at other korean spots you know that is on par with the others. We will definitely be returning. read more

The food was delicious, however I thought it was too expensive and had a bit of an issue with the portions (I think in part since they were so new, the lady that took care of me wasn't completely trained) and they gave me 1 scoop of tuna instead of 2 how it was indicated in the menu.
