When you get the donuts fresh and the coffee or iced tea fresh everything is delicious. If you get stuck with iced tea that has been sitting there for a few hours or donuts that are not fresh it's really a bummer. read more

The best coffee and donuts in town, been coming here since I was a kid, the only thing I can really complain about is when they started hiring a bunch of high school kids it's hard to get a consistent cup of coffee. One time there isn't enough sugar, another time it's too sweet and you can't even drink it, and honestly since I usually go way out of my way to go there it can be extremely annoying. So you have to learn who to tell "light" sugar or "extra" sugar. But besides that they are still way better than anyone else in town read more

Yum Yum exceeds Dunkin' Donuts in all things donut. It's not even a contest. If you want a donut, go to Yum Yum. I can't even tell you about the breakfast sandwiches or the bagels. I could never get out of there without donuts. Yum Yum has been in this location for decades. From what I recall, the location near Hatboro provides the same experience. For me, Yum's weakness is the coffee. It is not *bad*, but it always seems unflavorful. It isn't up to par with the donuts. My solution to that was to get a half dozen donuts to take home and then I brewed my own coffee. (Oh, and watch the parking lot. People use it to cut the corner by the light.) read more

I used this location to cater a small breakfast of about 40 people for work! I called less then 24 hours before the meeting, they took my order, and had everything ready for us to pick up by 6:30 am. My staff was not so excited about the early meeting, but walking into Yum-Yums made it a much brighter morning! My first time having and the donuts and bagels were Amazing! Went to Yum Yum about a couple of weeks ago - sadly disappointed. I bought a dozen. I got three crullers - two chocolate iced and one vanilla. All three donuts were too fat and chubby (didn't used to be) and there was too little icing on all of them. I also got three vanilla creme. They should have just been called powdered dough. There was only about a teaspoon of creme (spelled that way because it's not real cream) in each donut. Then I also got six glazed donuts - if you could call them that. Not very glazed. Yum Yum used to be a great donut place, but not any more. Won't be back any too soon. read more

Ordered in advance 2 dozen special order donuts for a business gift. Unfortunately, realized when I got to my destination that the bottoms of each box was caked with icing which transferred to my car seat and the box lid. Due to the mess, I couldn't present as a gift so retuned to the shop where the donuts were carelessly transferred to clean boxes. Since they knew the importance when the order was placed, I was especially surprised at their lack of attention to detail and the sub par customer service from counter staff AND from the manager (Jennifer) which made a tense situation even worse. Award Winning Donuts. Anyone that has tasted donuts from Yum Yum knows there's a palpable difference between their donuts and other chains. I've heard different answers as to why this is so, some say they're made fresh daily and other chains are not. I personally feel it's in the recipe. Yum Yum Bake Shop has been around my entire life and they've always kept that smaller, independent business charm. It's what makes you feel like you know the staff every time you walk through the doors. They have exceptional products and super friendly service... always have. They are always compared to Dunkin' because they sell similar products, but in my opinion, there is no comparison. The doughnuts are always fresh and delicious. Nothing has that "mass produced" taste. My favorite doughnut is the Chocolate Thunder. Soooooo good!!! read more

For 12 years of my life I was forced to go to church every Sunday. I don't mean to offend anyone but for me, it was excruciating. The one saving grace was that, after sitting through a 60+ minutes service every Sunday (not always an easy feat for a little kid) there would be about 4 or 5 boxes of a dozen donuts from yum yum, and let me tell you these are the best damn donuts I have ever had. Dunkin does not even begin to compare with the quality of these babies. They do classics like glazed, powdered sugar, and jelly-filled really well, but they also have some more original stuff like the coconut custard. I normally lean towards more exotic flavors when eating, but hear I usually just get the plain vanilla iced donut, maybe with sprinkles, because it is such well-executed, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Another highlight here are the cream cheese filled blueberry muffins. The coffee is meh, but to me that just adds to the ambiance and old-timey vibe you get here. I haven't been here in a while, but I think I need to get a dozen from here soon and bring them to work and share the glory that is Yum Yum with my coworkers. I seriously have no interest in other donuts. read more

I stop here periodically for a donut or two. Today, I was hosting a breakfast celebration and I ordered four dozen assorted donuts. The donuts are just exceptional! The variety was great and the price was right. I drove thirty minutes to get there at 6:30 and it was well worth it! I also picked up a bagel sandwich and will say it was just ok. I prefer the bagel crispy and this definitely was not. It was on par with Wawa or Dunkin Donuts. (My fav for bagel sandwiches is Manhattan Bagel.) Anyhow, definitely recommend Yum Yum Donuts! read more

Went in with my children and got in line at the counter, not many people there, only 2 orders in front of us at the time. As we were waiting, more people came in, and as expected got behind us. One of the orders in front of us finished, and when the girl behind the counter asked for the next customer I was directly in front of her and started giving her my order. She promptly ignored me and waived the people behind me up to the counter to take their order. I said we are next 5 or 6 times, then actually yelled it 2 more times while other customers also pointed out we were there first. Both the girl behind the counter and the obnoxious customer who knew we were there first just ignored all of the commotion and proceeded with their order as if we did not even exist. Their donuts may be good, but no donut is worth putting up with the way we were treated today. My business will be taken elsewhere going forward, to basically any establishment that at least has the decency to acknowledge their customers existence, something we were completely denied at Yum Yums today. It unfortunate because Yum Yums as a whole is a great place, but my experience at this location in particular was a disgrace. read more

The best of the best!!! They put Dunkin' and all other donut shops to shame. Their bagels and muffins are fresh daily as well. I won't get my iced coffee anywhere else either. I bring a box of donut holes to work every friday and they are gone within minutes, while the Dunkin' holes sit there all day. 10 years going here and counting!! read more
