Went to look for some koi fish for our pond and picked up 10 beautiful fish. Prices were very reasonable at just $35 for 4" sized fish and $45 for ones that were a bit larger. Healthy fish. Who needs to fill up their pond with koi? Well, come to Yume and pick some up! They are beautiful and will bring much zen to your yard. We have always had a pond in our yard since the 1980s. It adds so much peace and tranquility to our space. Having a mini ecosystem (our backyard) has affected us in many positive ways. There is much therapy in the sounds the waterfall of our pond. Just close your eyes and imagine. Yume has been the place for us to go since the 80's. We have had this batch for over 10 years. You can also get koi food here. Quick Grow, medium sized pellet feed works best for our fish. And it works. Our koi are pretty big and strong. A little under 60 bucks for a jumbo bag. Side note: please have a cover of some sort over your pond - to protect from birds of prey and sun. Algae will grow fast! Service is good and definitely has expertise on koi and all things related. All the fish are from Japan. Yes you will need to ask for help but Allan is very knowledgeable. I purchased 2 koi from here. One did not survive the trip home. When I called, they replaced it for free. I purchased 2 additional for the great customer service. Prices range from $25-100 for 2-8 inch fish and they have big ones for $$$. read more

So I came here because they were the only koi fish store that had this product and were open . I was greeted by a guy named Allan and from the get go you can tell this place and the people who work here care about their customers and koi fish. He questioned me for the use of the product and made sure I understood how to use it and even took time out to try and help diagnose my koi illness. The torii of this business always caught my eye driving by but I always thought they sold nothing else but koi fish and I was looking for several pcs to put my fountain together. I stopped by Yume Koi less than an hour before closing and they were very polite. I didn't feel rushed and they made sure I understood how to care for my fish, select the best water plants for me, and educated me on maintenance for a fountain I was constructing. They're place of business is very clean and organized. They know exactly where everything that you need is at and have plenty stock. They also have great examples of look like small ponds that you can do at home virtually anywhere no matter how small or large your project is. Over the past 5 years I have bought many koi here. The service is attentive and honest. One of the employees told me not to buy a koi I had bowled and had my heart set on, a gin rin showa, because it was"bent". We found another one and I still have it 2 years later. A business you can trust. If you get permission, go to the back area and see their $5,000 koi. It's quite a place. They have events where koi breeders from Japan come to talk about "blood lines". I have gone to this location a few times and have had mixed experiences. I bought two shubunkin goldfish and a Chinese high fin loach. It's been something I've wanted since the second grade, when my next door neighbor's courtyard boasted the most awesome shaded koi pond -- I was fascinated with those beautiful fish. Still am. You often see parents bringing their little kids in here to marvel at the koi. It's a great place to do that : there are holding "ponds" with koi of all sizes and prices, as well as a few little picturesque ponds. I cannot tell you how helpful they were at Yuma Koi. I have a pond filtration system that was pretty good, but I have been fixing it for years. I decided to just redo the entire thing, but had no idea where to start. I googled every video, but no one said the same thing. I went into Yume Koi and simply asked what they would do. They set me up with a reasonably priced filtration system that would fit my existing pump and pond. during the installation, I must have used up about 3 hours of their time asking questions. they were always happy to help. when I had a question or problem, I would go in to the shop, and they would explain things very thoroughly. After it was all said and done, my pond works beautifully, and it's crystal clear now. I can't think them enough for their help. read more

They offer Koi, exotic fish, turtles, plants for ponds or to plant in your yard, and they offer a very large supply of chemicals to maintain your pond and food for every species. I live about 10 minutes from this place so I do stop by quite often. The only quality that deserves a 2 stars is the nice koi selection they have. customer service is awful (minus 1 star) A few times I waited more than 30 minutes for them to open the door (minus 1 star). If you cannot open on time, please change your sign to 10:30 or 11am. I recently purchased a swing check valve. Their website price $21.50 but the guy charged me $29.99 + tax (minus 1 star).
