I had the lunch burger and fries because the table next to me had ordered it and the smell was delicious. The burger did not disappoint!! Such good food! I finished lunch with the Silk Road cocktail. Think espresso martini meets a chai. Creamy and well balanced. Overall, great experience. We will be back!

My wife and I arrived around 1:20 p.m. on a Thursday. The lunch crowd was still going strong, which only reinforced that we had picked a popular spot. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill almost immediately. When we walked in, there was no hostess to be found. After waiting about four minutes, she finally appeared and offered us a choice between a small table in the corner or one by the bar. Given how busy the restaurant was, we took the table by the bar. About seven minutes later, someone finally came by to offer us water and explained that our server was busy, but she would help us in the meantime. No problem. We ordered the Avo Goddess Salad and asked that it be split so we could share it. A few minutes later, our server arrived, introduced herself, and we let her know we had already ordered the salad and were ready to place our lunch orders. She was very helpful in guiding my wife toward the Old Bay Shrimp Burger. I was excited to order the Shrimp and Grits until I learned it contained Andouille sausage and, according to our server, couldn't be prepared without it. Since the restaurant highlights that everything is made from scratch, that surprised me. I ended up ordering the Ahi Tuna Salad instead. So far, so good. Then came the frustration. We spent the next 20 minutes slowly picking at our salad, growing increasingly hungry and confused. You know something is wrong when guests who were seated after you begin receiving their meals before you. Finally, at 2:10 p.m., our food arrived: my Ahi Tuna Salad and a Pulled Lamb Sandwich for my wife. Except my wife had ordered the Shrimp Burger. When we pointed out the mistake to what was now our third server, she quickly assured us it would be corrected. A few minutes later, our original server returned and took full responsibility. She explained that the lamb and shrimp items are next to each other in the POS system and she accidentally selected the wrong item. She assured us the Shrimp Burger would be out in two minutes and suggested we enjoy the fries that came with the lamb sandwich while we waited. Unfortunately, another ten minutes passed before the burger finally arrived. Here's where things became truly disappointing: the top bun was still cold--almost frozen. My wife ended up removing it entirely and eating the sandwich with just the bottom bun. At best, the Shrimp Burger was decent, but certainly not worth the wait and frustration. As for my Ahi Tuna Salad, it felt like something I could easily make at home, especially considering the $25 price tag. I'm also not entirely convinced the tuna was particularly fresh. I can't bring myself to give Matt and Tony's one star because the atmosphere is genuinely cool and inviting. So I settled on two stars--mostly for how I felt before the experience unraveled. And listen, I get it. Mistakes happen. We're all human. But as someone who eats out frequently, here's one piece of advice: when a restaurant makes a significant mistake with a customer's order, consider taking that item off the bill. Sometimes that gesture is the only reason a guest decides to come back.

When I arrived the young lady spoke (I believe her name is India) but throughout the experience of ordering, she gave the impression that she didn't want to be there and somewhat nonchalant. It didn't bother me much but for someone who is keen and/or a food critic/reviewer on customer service, she wouldn't have received a good review on that. Unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures because the food wasn't worth it. My order: One Love Chicken Rasta Pasta - This was seasoned well and not too spicy. However, extremely oily and due to that, very messy. It tasted like sugar was put it in as well. Honestly, if it wasn't so oily then it would've been much better. It was 7.6/10 Mac & Smack - This had a nice texture and consistency but again extremely oily & they went too heavy on the garlic. They possibly used parmesan cheese as one of the cheeses, I'm not sure but I have noticed that their noodle dishes have strong herb taste. It was a 7/10 Peach Cobbler - This was not it. I don't want to say that it didn't have potential but the "crust" tasted like hard dough that was over baked or very under baked. This was $12 and definitely wasn't worth it. It was a 0/10 Chosen Sweet Potato Pie - Mini - This was the best desert they have and I regret not getting the full size pie. This was perfect & honestly, I'd probably only go back for this. It was a 10/10 Spicy Peach Wilburn Wings (6) - I didn't care for the flavor. Reminded me of wings dipped in peach flavored liquor. However, my boyfriend liked them and he gave them a 7.7/10 Bang Bang Shrimp - Flavored well. Not too spicy and a good size. They can make them a little more crispy but very good overall. It was a 9/10 Steak & Cheese Egg Rolls - Probably my favorite dish in this whole order. Pricing could be better because I thought they were bigger but very good. It was a 10/10 Strawberry Shortcake - This tasted store bought but not the better quality store bought. Regretted getting this. It was a 6/10 Overall, this place gets a 7/10. Prices are a little high for the quality. They need improvements on the dishes & have potential to be much better but the food isn't nasty. If we go back, it will only be for the steak & cheese egg rolls, sweet potato pie and wings

Customer service, though patient, no smile at all from the young lady working the register on Saturday, June 13th at approximately 8 pm. What did I order? The Rasta Pasta and a whole sweet potato pie based on a recommendation. My assessment? Why does chicken smell like tuna? Secondly, where's the chicken. I had more pasta and sautéed veggies than anything. And sadly, the chicken that I did find looked like the pressed and processed chicken fajita chicken strips from a bag of Tyson's. The pie was g9od. But looked more like pumpkin pie than sweet potato. But it was thin. And not worth the almost $30 that I paid for it. In total, I paid $83 for 2 plates of the pasta and the pie. The good thing that I can say about the pasta is that one plate is enough to feed 3-4 people. And sadly, the pasta is EXTREMELY oily. Would I try them again? Yes. But not for the pasta. That was highly recommended to me. I just got home and was able to snap pics of the remaining pie, and the oily residue from my boyfriend's plate.

We rolled up during happy hour and the bar was already three deep with concert goers, professionals still in their work clothes, and a few locals holding their usual spots. There were no open tables in sight but that didn't matter. We found our corner of the bar fast, and honestly, that ended up being the best seat in the house. A band played soft in the background. Servers moved through in outfits that said upscale, not sports bar. The whole room had that pre-show buzz, dressed up but not stiff. We blended in well. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip on a local's recommendation. It came with warm chips, sour cream, and a house made salsa that quietly stole the entire appetizer. I wanted a bowl of just the salsa. Our server, who clearly knew the menu inside and out, sold us on the smoked salmon, and we added a side of bacon mac and cheese along with the cornbread. The salmon looked right, cooked medium with real smoke on it, but the smoke won the fight against the fish. Mushy inside, more fishy than smoky should allow. The sauce didn't rescue it either. Sautéed spinach on the side needed salt, plain and simple. Then the cornbread and mac and cheese showed up and reminded us why we came. Rich, comforting, with the kind of flavor that makes you forget the salmon happened. When I'm back, I'm ordering both of those twice and calling it a meal. Drinks were the real win. A Saratoga sparkling water kept things clean between bites, and the Peartini was one of the better cocktails I've had in a while, balanced, not too sweet, actually worth the price. The seat beside us turned over twice during the meal, first someone who went to the concert a few days earlier and wanted to talk about it, then someone else who slid in for a quick drink while waiting on their table. Both ended up in easy conversation with us, no forcing it. That's the part I keep thinking about, not the salmon. Copper Canyon got the room right, the drinks, the starters, the easy conversation with strangers. Some nights the food is the headline. This one, it was the people and the vibes, making it a great after-work or pregame pitstop, and that's always worth gathering for.
