My experience is similar to Stephanie W below! My insurance company had sent out Swift Towing (stay well away from them!). Swift originally quoted 50 minutes. After 60 minutes, I called them and they said they guy is en route and it'll be another 20 minutes. Well, 30 minutes later there was still no sign so I called them and there was no answer. Called my insurance company and they called Swift who informed them they decided to just cancel the call without telling anyone! Awful! However, my insurance company then called Zaben Towing. They were there within 15 minutes, got the car loaded up in a flash and off to the dealership. Very courteous driver, great service, and very professional. I would definitely recommend Zaben Towing if you are in need of a tow....but stay WELL AWAY from Swift Towing! read more

Zero stars if I could. I was sent to this company through Progressive. They told me to wait 60-90 minutes. Shortly after their driver called me and asked me to share my location with his cell phone through Apple "Find My." He already had my location through Progressive's roadside assistance request, and I expressed discomfort, but he insisted. After I shared my location the driver told me the location "expired" to which I responded "Oh boy, ok." He became immediately violent, insisting "I'm not a boy I'm a man"... I only wish I were kidding. The driver was hostile, and incredibly rude and threatening. I told him I'd be canceling the request and immediately stopped sharing my location with him. Look, calling for a tow is not on the top of anyone's "Things I Love Doing" list. There's no debating that. In the handful of times I've had to call for a tow, my insurance provider usually sent a random, unfriendly, impatient degenerate to assist. I was expecting the same service when I received the message that Zaben Towing was in route, but friends, I was mistaken. Bilal at Zaben called me to let me know he was close and when he arrived, he was one of the most positive individuals I've ever met. He was polite, efficient, and extremely helpful. This review is zero stars!!! I requested a tow through Ford Roadside assist for my 2023 Ford F-150 after a serious electronics issue in the Belterra Village area of Dripping Springs. First off, the tow driver took over an hour to arrive then when he did he had no idea how to hook my truck up and load it on his truck because the transmission wouldn't move to neutral. He called his boss who also had no idea what to do!!! I decided to call the Ford dealership myself who walked me through the process of removing a panel and accessing the emergency neutral release. While I was on the phone though, the tow driver walked into the nearby Spec's, bought a case of beer, then drove off!!! I called him three time but no answer. Ford sent me a much better towing company who's driver knew what he was doing eventually, but the whole process took 5 hours! I've reported them to Ford so hopefully Zaben will be dropped from the service roster ASAP! Don't call them ever, especially if you're in a bind!!!!!!! read more

My Fiat wouldn't start so I called Triple A and they sent some company to try to help me, but they were so mean to me because I unfortunately don't know much about car maintenance. Decided to leave my car at the office and use Fiat's roadside, who sent Zaben in the morning. I am so sorry I didn't get the name of the guy who helped me, but he was the absolute best! I was running late and it was no big deal for him and he was able to come back later to help me. He was actually able to jump my car (which Triple A couldn't, who also tried telling me something was wrong with my alternator) and he told me that there was nothing wrong, just need to get a new battery! He made me feel so much better, and didn't treat me like I was stupid just because I don't know a lot about car maintenance. He really made my day better just explaining how to resolve the problem and that it's a simple fix, grateful for people like him! read more

I went to exit onto Mopac from 183 and he was riding the back end of my car, as if I wasn't already driving over the speed limit. I asked him to put my vehicle in the driveway on the right hand side and he put it on the left hand side. When I called him back to correct his mistake he then began to say that he put it on the correct side after myself and boyfriend told him to put it on the right side I advised him that he needed to come back and correct his mistake and that I want to speak to his supervisor he hung up in my face. The back of my truck started scraping the road with my decor tail hitch. Then proceeds to yell at me cursing that I should have taken it off. Very unprofessional and incompetent. Disgraceful service. I specified to have my truck towed between 12pm - 2pm while emphasizing that the rear passenger tire was completely destroyed and could not be removed, and consequently the truck would need to be towed from the rear instead of the front. The first tow truck driver texted me at 11am saying they would be at my house in 15 minutes, 45 minutes earlier than the time I specified. He then abruptly left when I told him he was early and that I would need time to meet him since it was outside of the specified window. The second tow truck driver showed up about 30 minutes later with a large flatbed. He inspected the rear tire (the one I had mentioned was destroyed and could not be replaced.) He asked me if I could put on the spare and that the truck could not be towed in its current condition without bothering to explain why. I explained to him that the tire was contorted around the rotor and could not be removed. He said "Thank you" and immediately left. Overall, 1/10, definitely would not recommend. read more

If I could give this a 0 I would. I had 2 experiences with them -- the first one was amazing literally the guy was beyond nice, super professional and the second experience was awful. The second time I needed their assistance the guy was awful from the very beginning, he seemed incredibly annoyed and his patience was very short. It seemed like he was trying to leave before I could meet him, even the workers at my apartment complex were trying to be nice and move stuff around so they could be out of his way, complained the whole time how "this is too much walking, I'm a towing guy I don't walk" and continue to murmur things under his breath. I don't know if he expected to talk to me however he saw fit that wasn't going to fly with me. First time, David was the driver and he was professional, courteous, timely and made it all so easy. So I was super happy to see him again recently when he pulled up to tow my car! Same great service and he does it all with a genuine smile on his face. And, I had to call him back minutes after he dropped me at the car repair shop as they could not get to my car for days and he came right away and towed my car to my dealer. Again, all with a smile.
