Left: Flourless Chocolate Bite topped with our signature buttercream and organic cocoa nibs -- 2 Carbs, Cinnamon Rolls -- 1.5 Carbs

I'm just getting around to posting my review from my visit around the holidays. To start, I'll just say that Zambawango has plenty of great options for those who may have particular dietary limitations/needs, and I applaud them for that. Definitely recommend! I arrived shortly after they'd opened for the day, and two women were busy in the back making a fresh batch of bagels and some other items. They immediately let me know they'd be right with me. It was quiet and I had time to look in the case without feeling rushed. I ordered a few different items to try, including coffee with the caramel sugar free syrup. While I honestly didn't love the coffee, the desserts were great! My favorites were the flourless chocolate cake, german chocolate cheesecake, and the cinnamon brown sugar cake. Absolutely delicious! The caramel walnut brownie was good as well. I had a choice of a cinnamon roll with or without icing. I went without it, and I wasn't really a fan. It had a pretty strong aftertaste in my opinion, and I think I would have enjoyed it more with the icing. I also ordered one of the cheddar jalapeño bagels. It was decent. The texture took some getting used to, which is to be expected with some keto breads. Also, they'd just been made so they weren't in the case when the young woman told me they were available. I ordered one on a whim, and I think the cheese and jalapeño sitting right on top kind of threw me off as well. I think I'll try a different flavor next time! Overall, I'll be back for sure. Different desserts are available at different times, so I'm looking forward to trying some of the other desserts that are available whenever I go.

R and I came to Zambawango to get keto-friendly, sugar-free and low carb desserts. I had seen Zambawango a few times while driving by it on Abernathy Rd in Sandy Springs. Zambawango is in a mixed-use complex, and shares a parking garage (with free parking) with its business neighbors. The parking garage is located behind the small businesses. There were maybe 4 tables for customers to sit at in the small store. Zambawango is a small bakery and dessert shop that also serves coffees and carbonated drinks. The employee handling the order counter called out a greeting to us as we entered the store, which had that "just baked" comforting and inviting smell. We looked at all of the baked goods in the clear display cases, and I ordered a slice of coconut blackberry cake and R ordered lemon cheesecake. R also ordered a coffee (compliments of a Yelp check in offer), but was told that they didn't have any, but was offered an Americano, instead, at no charge, which R accepted. We sat at one of the tables near the display cases and It took a couple of minutes before we were handed our desserts at the order counter, with the Americano taking about 5 more minutes before R got it. Although the coconut blackberry cake was on the dry side, I thought it was delicious. The barely sweet sweetness was perfect for someone (like me) who doesn't care for things that are very sweet. R thought the lemon cheesecake was good. I thought the presentation was great, as it looked like a miniature cake. For those who count their carbs (and we don't), Zambawango lets customers know how many grams of net carbs are in each item. For the record, in net carbs (in grams) my slice of coconut blackberry cake had 4.5 net carbs, and the lemon cheesecake had 3.5 net carbs. There are lots of colorful pieces of wall art, which included pics of baked goods and cartoons.

Yeah....the Chocolate mousse was all that. The Americano, from local coffee company Cloudland coffee, was strong and delicious. All of the in-house made cookies and treats looked great. The atmosphere on a Thursday afternoon, was quiet and relaxing. What else do I need to say? We'll be back....

I have been meaning to try this bakery for a while now and glad I finally had a chance to! They are low carb, Keto friendly, sugar free, and gluten free bakery. Amazing, right? With so many yummy options to choose from, it took me a while to decide. I landed on four different treats: carrot cake, cinnamon roll, caramel brownie and a cookie. All of them were delicious, but I see why the carrot cake is a favorite! You wouldn't be able to tell it's low carb, keto friendly, etc. I also tried a strawberry lemonade which was refreshing. The service excellent. The staff was happy to answer my questions and explain some of the items. They also made great recommendations. Will stop by again when I'm in the area!

My wife and I were really excited to try this place after reading other reviews as we prefer a low carb diet for the most part. I was able to get over to their location at the Serrano building on Abernathy Rd a few minutes before they closed at 4pm today. I wanted to try the red velvet cake but they were out. I decided to get several different items for us to try and settled on these items as a good test overall of what they have to offer: A plain bagel A piece of carrot cake 1 chocolate brownie 2 chocolate chip cookies Did I expect the items to be almost as good as the regular thing??? Well frankly from some of the reviews on this place--yes--- however in the back of mind I set my real expectations lower about was hoping that they would be 60-70% as good with the trade off being much lower carbs and sugar so it would be worth it. When I got home the first thing we tried was the bagel - at first I was concerned as it looked fairly small and somewhat flattish for a bagel-- anyway we gave it a try I tried it and their are 2 words to describe this bagel ---Absolutely Horrible. Imagine eating a bagel that has the texture of cornbread and that is what this bagel is. Frankly I would be embarrassed to put this out as a low carb substitute for a real bagel - if you can't even make it come say 50% as good to the real thing then why bother. This is a 0 compared to a real bagel in my opinion. Now onto the other items: The chocolate chip cookies - 1st bite impression was that it is about maybe 40% as good as a regular cookie but still had a strange texture and after taste. I only had 1 more bite after and decided it wasn't worth whatever calories it did have to finish it. The final result is I would much rather eat 1/2 (or less) of a real cookie than eat an entire one of these. Just frankly not that good for the price and calories it does have The chocolate brownie - 1st bite --about the same impression as the cookie- taste maybe 40% as good as a real brownie. My next thought is---I'd rather just have 1/2 (or less) of a regular brownie than 1 of these--even if they were the same price-- but there aren't -- these brownies cost twice to almost 3x what a regular brownie is. Even just eating a 1/4 of a regular brownie to save on sugar and carbs and calories would be better than eating one of these Next the Carrot Cake - the carrot cake looked good but when slicing it in half to share with my wife I noticed it was pretty crumbly. 1st bite impression was that it was fairly dry/crumbly. The icing was decent and had a nice texture but combined with the dry/crumble cake --the overall effect was not good. I tried 1 more bite from a different part of the cake slice but still same result --not very pleasing or satisfying. I stopped after the 2 bites and decided that it was not worth finishing Unfortunately about 10 minutes after trying all 4 items my wife and I both got sick to our stomach and had to go to the bathroom I really wanted to like this place. I was hoping to at least find a couple of items that were good Lo carb substitute for the real thing. Unfortunately it was a waste of $19.99

Excellent Caramel Latte Cake - 4.5 Carbs, KETO & Gluten Free that didn't make it home ha!

I have been on a health journey for about 5 years now keeping off around 50lbs. I am looking to take off more! This place is a heaven sent! There aren't many options for ppl who practice a ketogenic lifestyle. Baking with almond flour is extremely difficult let me tell you! Now that I am no longer eating sugar on the consistent basis many desserts are very sweet and very difficult to eat. I still crave a sweet option from time to time. The service was amazing the store was immaculate! The desserts came freshly made. The service was excellent. The receipt even included the net carbs for each item!!! The price point is bar none. Amanda was pleasantly welcoming and very knowledgeable. Amanda even explained the meaning behind the restaurant's name which is "Anything is possible" which is certainly true now that this establishment has blessed our community!

I stopped by Zambawango today to pick up a snack for the team. The shop is local and owned by women so I wanted to support! Also, the food is largely low carb/gluten free! I ordered an assortment of huge cookies, a spinach and feta bagel(delicious), and homemade Oreos. Each ran $2-3. The team loved them! No one knew they were low carb until I mentioned it. They went fast. Also picked up a yummy latte. The bakery/cafe is located on the plaza level of an apartment complex. I turned right on Abernathy, into the complex, then followed the sign for free retail parking and walked right inside.

This place is known for keto friendly, carb free, healthier dessert options. As a sweets connoisseur I had to come check it out. I ordered a bday cake swirl, chocolate cake bite, kitchen sink cookie, and carrot cake. They all were good, but like in an okay way. The chocolate cake was by far my fave because it had a rich, dense flavor. The other treats were decent. I wouldn't say the items I had were like "oh my gosh" good, but it definitely works as a healthier dessert option.

This was a long awaited visit. We tried to visit 3 years ago but never made it. So glad they have weathered the pandemic. Tons of low carb, keto baked goods options. Tiny human picked out a brownie pop. I got a St. Patrick's Day cookie. Cute store. And they ship! Excited to try the rest of the bagels, cinnamon rolls and coffee cake we bought. Fun bit - they list the carb count of each item on the receipt.

Stopped by here on a crispy Saturday morning to get coffee and try some healthy desserts. We ordered the carrot cake, raspberry zebra brownie, jalapeño cheddar bagel, and brewed coffee. The carrot cake is super crumbly but the flavor is pretty spot on. The icing is sweet and creamy. The brownie texture is looser than a normal brownie but for one that's low carb and gluten free, it's pretty good. The last item is arguably the best one we had- the jalapeño cheddar bagel. To call us a bagel is a bit of a stretch but since it's also a slightly crumbly texture that's held together by the cheddar cheese. Flavor is good and worth trying tho!! Coffee is somewhat unmemorable but when I asked for milk, they offered steamed milk in lil cups which was very nice. The service is very kind and friendly, we were met with cheery attitude that was appreciated. Overall, worth the visit if you're looking for some low carb and gluten free dessert substitutes!

Lmao, so I spent $65 here, and you're probably thinking what did you buy or that's expensive?!? As a first timer, I wanted to try it ALL because some of the reviews had me on the fence. thank god I didn't listen to the negative Nancy's. CLEARLY, the less than 5 star reviews have to be from grouches and people with eh tastebuds. BECAUSE YALL. I tried a bite of it all, and it is WORTH EVERY PENNY. The cakes are moist. The cookies, yummy. If you don't try all of it, atleast try the TIRAMISU or CHEESECAKE. I really can't believe it. They are heaven. The texture is so good. The brownie crust. I mean. COME ON. And the low carbs/ no sugar/ no cow milk. Literally Dreamville. SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD. Support this business!!!!!!!

It was so bad. Very disappointing. Better luck making your own gluten free foods at home and using monk fruit sweetener to sweeten. This store would turn me off completely from gluten free and sugar free if I did not know there was better tasting healthy foods available.

    They do now

Are there any dairy-free pastries available?

That was enough to fill us up for a meal. I probably could've had one or two more temaki. In general, every item was well-made and delicious. All of the temaki were great and all of the ingredients were fresh. The presentation was beautiful. My favorite temaki were the Toro Uni Ikura, Salmon Ikura, and Hokkaido Uni. My wife is pregnant, so they accommodated her with a free mocktail, cooking the salmon and excluding the ikura on her Salmon Tataki temaki. We appreciated that. Our table gobbled everything up. The Matcha Saketini was thick and heavy on the matcha. We did find it cumbersome to remove two strips of plastic for each temaki, but we understand why they do it (to keep the seaweed crisp). Sometimes, some of the ingredients would slide off with the plastic wrap, which was not ideal. I heard that if you sit at the bar, you don't have to deal with the plastic wrap (e.g., if you do a temaki tasting). The treats from the bakery-cafe were yummy. Service was excellent. All of the staff was polite and friendly. Thank you, Sian, Etta, and the Asian guy with glasses whose name I did not get. The name "Cuddlefish" is a play on cuttlefish, which is similar to a squid. Growing up, I ate dried cuttlefish from Thailand as a snack.

I was super excited to finally get a REAL coffee shop in the neighborhood, especially since I have loved their Alpharetta location since 2020. It's not the cheapest bag of beans but it's definitely freshly roasted and good quality! I love their seasonal bevs - I've tried their fall drinks like the Tokyo Drift (Applewood smoked cortado, orange blossom syrup, freshly grated nutmeg, orange peel) and the Spice is Right (Iced, spicy, creamy, coffee cocktail vibe with cold brew, hot honey syrup, vanilla bean and milk). You can easily sub out alternate milks, even on the seasonal specialty drinks. I appreciate the themes and play on the seasons. There seems to be plenty of space but no seating/tables. Many tables for 2 or 4 would be taken by 1-2 people studying/working all day, which is understandable but still frustrating. While…read morestaying in Dunwoody near Perimeter Center, I found Cafe Comma near one of the CorePower Yoga studios I was visiting. Even though there were plenty of places at the mall to grab coffee and food right across from my hotel, I kept finding myself coming back here day after day during my stay. The staff I interacted with was super cool, welcoming, and had such a great vibe. Every interaction felt genuine and friendly. One thing that really stood out was when I asked for a drink that wasn't on their menu but that I had seen on their Yelp page. They had no problem making it for me and even had me try it before I left just in case I didn't like it. That kind of customer service goes a long way. The drinks were great, the atmosphere was chill, and the overall vibe made me feel comfortable every time I walked in. Whenever I'm back in Atlanta, Cafe Comma will definitely be one of my first stops. Thanks for the excellent hospitality

The only operational flaw would be the limited counter space for order pick-ups during busy hours where other patrons have to cut the line to retrieve their orders.

Parking is free and always available in the big parking lot shared by all of the businesses in Abernathy Square. No matter which employee has been at the counter taking orders and making the drinks, they've always been quick, efficient, accurate, courteous and helpful with information about the drinks. A variety of teas, lemonades and smoothies are on the menu, which is displayed on easy to read monitors on the wall behind the prep area. There are two benches to sit on in the well lit space while waiting for your order, and no tables or chairs are available, so there's no opportunity to sit and work or visit with others. While you're waiting, you can walk a few steps over into the neighboring Japanese restaurant and decide whether you want to expand your drink break into a full fledged meal. My favorite boba tea is the Bubble Milk Black Tea, with 30% sweetness and less ice. In the many times I've had boba in drinks here, the boba has always had a good consistent chew. The drinks are in firm plastic cups with snap on lids, so the little ones can accidentally (or purposely) squeeze the cups and there won't be too much damage done to your vehicle upholstery on the way home, although if they drop or throw the cup on the floor it'll most likely be game over. Decent drink prices.

I enjoyed all the food I tried. 10/10. My server was nice and pleasant. I definitely encourage others to visit. It's a great spot for date night.
