The shop itself is extremely cute and it a great location, with easily accessible parking. purchased the carrot cake for myself and a cinnamon caramel cheesecake for my boyfriend. My carrot cake was extremely dry and the icing was extremely bland, almost like whipped cream. Publix carrot cake is very hard to top for me, so I'll probably be going there moving forward. My boyfriend took about two bites of his cheesecake and said it was also bland. He said there was excess cinnamon and the caramel was also bland. This place is perfect for someone on the Ketosis diet and needs to kick their sweet cravings. I purchased the red velvet cupcake 2 carbs and the Creme brûlée 0 carbs. The red velvet cupcake was disappointing, it was dry and stacked with icing, hopefully that's not the norm. Probably wouldn't order that again, but the Creme Brûlée ...... Fire! They have all milk types for coffees and lattes. Even coconut milk! I tell you this is a unique find in Atlanta. Literally never seen anything like it. Sally's GF bakery comes close but this is big and spacious. It has places to sit and hang out. This place is so impressive. It's at the bottom of a condo/apt building. Be sure to use navigation even though it makes you come in through the back entrance. The tastiest healthy desserts are here! I'm currently nibbling on a Kitchen Sink cookie. It's nutty, chocolatey, soft (yet firm enough to have a good bite) and all around fantastic with awesome macros! It's difficult to find low carb and lower calorie desserts that taste delicious. I've had multiple homemade items come out awful. They ship overnight nationwide. Whatever they charge for these items is totally worth it. From the reviews my expectations on the desserts here were really high but none of those expectations were evenly closely met. Nothing against the restaurant, they have great service, very clean, wonderfully designed in every way. The texture of the desserts just wasn't it for me, I was hoping for more of the situation where you don't even realize or can't tell that it's low sugar etc but I could tell with the scent, texture, and taste in a non good way. I met two of the owners Chef Kate and George who were so excited to share about their Gf Keto mission. Their passion shines in their product! I ordered the Boston cream pie cake on June 28, 2024. The chocolate on top and the cake itself had a bitter chemical aftertaste. I have ordered the Strawberry cream cake, German Chocolate cake, Lemon blueberry cheesecake and have since ordered the Neapolitan celebration cake. All of these cake were and are delicious ( I am still eating the Neapolitan celebration cake.) I ended up throwing the the Boston cream pie cake out. I tried, but I just couldn't eat it. It's sometimes hard to get to since there's a lot of road construction in front, but there is garage parking for customers. They are a low carb bakery where every item they make is keto friendly! It is sheer heaven to step foot in the door knowing that I can stock up on all kinds of baked goodies that won't mess up my diet. The prices are of course higher than your average bakery ($6.95 for a small slice of cake) but honestly, a single slice of cake can last me for four servings just because they are so filling. The first time, I just got a chocolate chip cookie, white macadamia cookie and the two brownies! They tasted great and I enjoyed them with my organic coffee!! The 2nd time, I went with my Mom and we got a lot of things and split them so we could try different things! I LOVED the jalapeño bagel!! And the spinach one was good, too! We also got the kitchen sink cookie, carrot cake, macadamia cookie, choc chip cookie, ginger cookie, candy bar, and iced cinnamon roll! The candy bar was the perfect blend of salty and sweet- it reminded me of a Twix bar! Haven't had those for like 10 years!! All of the sweet items could have less sweetener and I would love them just the same... but it doesn't really matter if you use extra because it's not sugar and it doesn't cause any digestion issues, like xylitol. If you are on keto this is THE place to be ! They have delicious drinks and guilt free desserts , they even have the net carbs listed on each item ( to count your carb intake ) I bumped into the owner one time and he was so nice, and explained more about his zambawango vision . I have tried the chocolate cupcake and the chocolate peanut butter cake , you can't tell they are keto desserts ! I even got some dog treats from there which my dog gobbled up in seconds . I've driven by this place several times and thought it's about time my husband and I give it a try since we love coffee and also like to walk to get coffee...So last Friday when my husband decided to take the day off we walked to Zambawango. We don't live too far from the location. I've been told by one neighbor that the coffee is great but if you don't like gluten-free or low-carb pastries then don't bother to try them. (Guess I should've listen to that neighbor.) Let me add that we walked to the place and had a backpack with just some cash no credit cards. We ordered our coffee's and ordered a couple of small bagels to bring home to our son and also ordered a mini scone and a slice of one of the cakes that was in the case. We're ready to pay for our items now and the barista tells us that they don't take cash. What? Seriously? Who doesn't take cash, we were thinking.....strange. So my husband has to walk back to the house to go get a credit card to pay for the items that we have picked out and our coffee's. I sit down at a table and I'm enjoying my cappuccino waiting for my husband to come back and pay for our items. He returns, pays for our pastries and coffee and sits down with me. I decide to take a bite of the scone. I thought it was terrible. Next I decided to give the plain bagel a try. I had to spit it out it was so nasty... we ended up throwing away the two bagels because I know my son would have done the same thing. My husband liked the cake that he picked out but it was not exceptional. I'm not trying to be negative here but I guess we thought this place would be a lot better as far as the food goes, also we were not expecting to not be able to pay with cash (strike number 2). The gentleman that helped us was friendly and accommodating but the overall experience was not great. We will most likely not be returning which is such a bummer since we live so close by. This place literally saved my life! My keto life that is haha. I was on day 11 of strict keto and was craving sweets badly. After a Google search I came across an ATL Reddit thread that HIGHLY recommended this place. They did not exaggerate! I tried the cake pops, brownies, and carrot cake. My husband and I made a special trip here together and we got: Everything bagel : this was delicious and somehow reminded us of cheddar bay biscuits at Red Lobster. Tiramisu: this was good enough if you have to have something sweet Carrot cake: this was just ok, I wasn't a fan of the texture much but that is not their fault, it is keto-friendly and I did not expect it to be the same Snickerdoodle: way too sweet, I would have preferred a bit more moderate Cinnamon roll: this was pretty good for what it is Overall, for someone with dietary restrictions and huge cravings, this will do.
