I normally order the Cobb Salad when I come to Zaxbys and I like the chicken tossed in tongue torch sauce. Almost every time I come here , it's "we can't toss them in the sauce or they toss them in tongue torch. Which one is it? Food does come out pretty quickly but their chicken has become really salty. This location isn't good during busy hours (when you think things would be somewhat fresh) so I should've known better than to order an hour before closing. Fries cold and hard. Tenders hard and cold. Sandwich wrong. Ordered grilled chicken sandwich, add cheese, no tomatoes...got bread, dried chicken and piece of cheese. No lettuce and no ranch. I paid a visit to this local Zaxby's today due to a previous pleasant experience that I had. Today, this staff went above and beyond to serve me to day. First and foremost, I was greeted as soon as I came in. Secondly, Meghan and Kenda were extremely helpful in assisting me with my order. Lastly, the food was received in a timely matter. Everything was hot and fresh. Fast forward an hour and a half, I could not find my Apple Watch. I searched and searched until I did my "Find My Apple Watch" on my phone. The app told me that it was in Zaxby's. I called and the MOD (Manager on Duty), Charles placed me on hold as he himself checked the parking lot (IN THE POURING RAIN) for my watch. He informed me that He could not find it and apologized. I arrived a few minutes later and again Charles walked and walked the parking lot with me IN THE POURING RAIN and got soaked until I found my Apple Watch in the parking lot. Went to Zaxby's today for some lunch. We've been to this location before so we knew what to expect. The food here is always good. I love the chicken tenders and the Spicy's Zaxby's sandwich. My son had the spicy sandwich for the first time and he really enjoyed it. When we got there, it took a moment for someone to come to the counter to take our order, but once he did, he was friendly. I think it was the assistant manager. Food was brought to our table in a couple of minutes, nice and hot. It was the quality we've come to expect from Zaxby's. Also, it was quiet and clean here. I went opening day and the drive thru was FAST!! Everything tasted great. I was indecisive so I got the wings and things which everything was fried to perfection. I usually don't like honey mustard wings but their hot honey mustard sauce is AMAZING! Fries were seasoned well and the tenders were crunchy on the outside like I like it! Today I got the southwest chipotle sandwich meal and I'll tell you now, that sandwich was soooo flavorful. I'd definitely recommend it if you're trying something new and want a little kick (it has pickled jalapeños). Well, I think we're done giving Zaxby's a try. We've tried multiple locations in multiple states, and I've yet to finish a meal at this chain feeling happy about my choice. Unfortunately, this new location was no exception. The reason we keep coming back is because their Salads are large and come with garlic bread, which my wife likes. My daughter and I, on the other hand, can't find anything we like. Their Teriyaki sauce is the worst I've ever tasted. Their hot sauce is tangy and not that great, and we flat-out dislike their BBQ. (If this sounds a bit cruel, I'll spare you my daughter's comments). During our recent meal here, when I asked if I could upgrade the fries with my combo meal to cheese curds (I was willing to pay an up-charge), I was met with a curt "No, we don't do that here". On top of all that, the chicken here is dry. It's just not on par with Chic-fil-a, PDQ, or Popeyes. All this might be forgivable if the prices were great, but the prices here are quite high, especially considering this is glorified fast food. I've tried other items on the menu that were also not good, but I'll just end this review here with a simple - we will not return. read more

I've been to this new location a few times now and haven't been disappointed yet by the food. I've never waited more than about 5 minutes and it's always been fresh. Other than food, if they happen to be busy, the dinning room tends to be messy. Also the napkin dispensers and lid holders have been empty more than once. Please, don't waste your money here. I came with a promotional coupon from a mailed flyer for a free big zax snak (3 tenders, fries, texas toast, and a drink) which is normally 6.99!? according to the receipt - might have been the most disappointing free meal ever. Totally bland, texas toast just tasted like stale white bread with no actual seasoning, and the tenders were small, overcooked and on the dry side. Also, I think they threw the tenders in the styrofoam container right out of the fryer, and it burned holes through the styrofoam - so that's fun and probably super healthy. The biggest upside to this meal was that the food was hot - but I don't want it so hot that it burns right through the container! So many better chicken places around this area, Church's, Popeye's, KFC... even Dairy Queen across the street has MUCH better tenders than here. Publix has better chicken too! Not to mention, all of the places mentioned are cheaper than this place. Last time I ate at a Zaxby's was probably 5 years ago on a road trip and remember thinking the same thing - "bland", and never gave the place another thought. But, hey, got a coupon in the mail, and I figured since the chain is still around and growing, maybe they're doing something right or I just had a mediocre first experience. Okay I'm sorry to say but this food is just not good. I've never lived near a Zaxby's before so when we moved nearby in December I was excited to have a new fast food place to try. However I have just tried my 3rd entree and I just can't find anything worth eating here. The sandwiches are soggy and gross, the strips are blah, and today I tried a Cajun grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken was so rubbery I don't think it can even be classified as chicken! Can't believe I spent $7 on unseasoned chewy rubber! I literally picked off the bacon and threw the rest away because I couldn't stomach it. Sorry Zaxby's, but that's 3 strikes and I'm gone. This is my third time going. Last two times they burnt the fried pickles. The container was completely filled with oil same with the last two times I don't understand how they're getting the oil in the container my entire bag for the order was filled with oil. This place needs to change management the employees are not well trained does not seem like they know what they are doing. They are slow service and not friendly. I like the chicken and I like the pickles when our cook properly. This location has to do a lot of work to make it better. I will go back one or two times more. If it is the same I will never go back again the parking lot is always empty the drive-through is always empty you would think they would get the message and start fixing the problems. read more
