There are many places in this town to eat chicken. However, none hold a candle to the staff and atmosphere at Zaxbys in Marketplace. Sure the food is piping hot, taste and quckly served. But it is the staff makes all the difference in the world. Polite and professional, but also jovial. Though they were slammed, the manager still came around and checked on customers. Got the wingz n thingz platter. THOSE WERE NOT WINGS. they were HEAVILY battered chunks of chicken. So bad that I had to "peel" the batter off and dip the chicken in the Zax sauce. I thought about not posting but the more I thought about it the more it upset me so here I am. It started on 6/2. My husband, mother, and I parked in the shade and the manager ended up calling the cops and wanted us to leave and not just sit in the parking lot. So we comply and leave. We weren't asked not to come back so no big deal just no loitering. Understandable. Then yesterday 6/3 we decided that we were going to go have lunch at Zaxbys. We pull in look for a shaded spot to park to decide what we want and there weren't any available so we circled the building and just parked. We sat there for a minute while I got everyone's order. My husband and I go in and place our order. We receive part of our order and are waiting for our shakes. My husband takes the food to the car. I get our shakes and pretty much follow him out. Theres a cop walking in as im walking out. He holds the door for me. I get to the car and find out that the manager called the cops as soon as she/he saw our car park instead of waiting to see if we were going to come in and place an order. We weren't loitering or anything. We were PAYING CUSTOMERS!! Instead of apologizing for her mistake what does she/he do??? She/he has the very nice police man trespass us and not allow us back on the property. So we had QUITE LITERALLY just paid over $60 on food to be banned from the property permanently. I don't know what her/his issue is but she/he needs to not jump to conclusions about people who sit in their car deciding on their order and just assume they are loitering. She/he should have apologized to us as well as the police for wasting their time!! read more

Zaxby's was recommended for lunch by a coworker in Maryville, TN. My first impression, of this restaurant specifically, was not good. The tables were dirty and the floors were sticky. But... since they were offering $2.50 milk shakes for their 35th Birthday anniversary, I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the Fried Chicken Cobb Salad with a strawberry milk shake. The salad was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. The milk shake was mediocre... it didn't taste like strawberries nor ice cream... We don't have Zaxby's where we live so we always make sure we hit one or two when we travel. We ordered a 4 piece chicken finger meal to share (chicken, fries, slaw, toast and a drink). I love Zaxby's, however this location is slow and last night our chicken was horrible. Ordered a ten piece strips and more than half tasted burnt. They all looked fine but had a strong burnt taste like cooked in a batch of burnt oil. Fries must have been cooked in different oil as good as always! read more

0 Stars if I Could! I don't even know where to start with this Zaxby's. First off, charging for sauce?! Seriously? The fact that they nickel and dime you for something that should come with your meal is beyond ridiculous. It's not like their food is cheap to begin with, so you'd think they'd throw in a couple of sauces without making you dig deeper into your wallet. On top of that, the service was slow, and the staff seemed uninterested in helping. I waited way too long for a simple order, and when I asked for extra sauce, I was told I had to pay extra.not to mention they were out of zax sauce and said they couldn't give me any regardless of if i paid for it. What a joke. This location clearly doesn't care about customer satisfaction or making the experience worth your money. We hadn't been to Zaxby's in awhile. We ordered traditional wings and 2 house salads on a drive through order. When we got home and opened the bag of food we found much smaller salads and wings that were close to bone only! $50 for 2 salads and 20 wings! Way over priced!! I haven't had Zaxby's in while so I decided to get lunch here today. I pulled in and saw the drive thru was wrapped around the building. Currently they have their dinning room used. The drive thru went pretty quickly. Ordered boneless wing meal, nibblers meal, and the fried cheese bites. The service was great. We got everything we asked for! My only compliment was that we paid $3.99 for the fried cheese bites and it didn't come with much. I thought that was a rip off. I would come back here! read more

Tried Zaxbys for the first time and wish I had years ago. I was very impressed with the quality of the food served. Chicken wings and tenders were great. Real chicken, not like what some fast food places serve. Good selection of sauces to try. The fries were crinkle cut and cooked well, not undercooked. The zensational zalad was fresh, the lettuce actually crunchy. I must mention that the drive thru was extremely crowded, due to the covid closing the indoor dining. Not to worry, because the friendly employees here were outside to help people get orders in, making the wait much less than it could have been. read more

I LOVE the zalads from Zaxbys! The original house salad, with fried or grilled chicken, is so simple yet so delicious! I also enjoy the wings, chicken tenders, and the variety of appetizers such as fried mushrooms and cheddar cheese bites. The food was fine, but the experience was way sub par. My friend and I walked in with no notice that there was no In restaurant dining and we were waiting on our food in the restaurant nobody was saying anything that we couldn't. We get our food and sit down and this a lick comes up to us and says that we can't dine in. So Texas lifted all covid restrictions and we can't eat in a dang Zaxbeys. Poor. read more

After waiting 25-30 minutes for my order to get finished only to have it come out wrong again. Not only was my order not correct, they didn't give me what I paid for. I only got 17 plain traditional wings instead of the 20 plain traditional flats that I ordered with the sauce on the side. I've called the number on the drive up window before only to get a ride call on my answering asking me for more info of my incident. Be sure to check your order before you ever drive away. read more
