Buyer beware! Pulled up to the window, I assume the cashier is mute & doesn't speak. As she didn't say a single word to me during the transaction. While waiting for my order, I reviewed the receipt. Everything seemed correct but something told me to hold on to it. I was informed that there wasn't enough wings so they substituted some tenders, ok. I left & come to work to find out they didn't pack the dip! I only eat wings with dip, ranch! I now have hot wings & no dip. I did order it as it was noted on the ticket. So, I called to place to ask what do they do in a case like this, considering I dropped over $40 for wings & fries. The manager claims there isn't much that she can do, she offered 10% my next meal. I can get 10% pretty much anywhere when I show my veteran status. So this doesn't do anything for me but deter me from coming here again. Sad! So, to avoid this I advise all to check their bags to ensure the order is 100% correct. Too bad if it clogs the drive thru or avoid leaving the window to park while they take your order to you. I love Zaxby's and always make a stop when I travel to the south. The fries and chicken fingers are my favorite (of course with the signature Zaxby's sauce!). I'm not a big fan of the wings but I got them to try since it's been a few years since I last had them. Nothing has changed, still not a fan of the wings. Although I do not like coleslaw (from anywhere)...Everyone seems to love their coleslaw. This location was not crowded at all and everyone was very nice and pleasant. First time to visit this spot. The area where this restaurant is located is very industrial. Many container style trucks, makes it a bit harder to drive in the area. I went through the drive thru as I was on lunch and needed to grab a quick bite. The service is very friendly. My only problem is that I ordered a meal which was grilled chicken sandwich and it came with fries, but did not include anything for dipping my fries into ? That was odd- I was in a rush so no time to ask, as I assumed there would have been ketchup in the bag. I did enjoy the grilled chicken sandwich, but I think the bread was a bit soggy due to how hot the sandwich was. The chicken was good. Not the best location to try Zaxby's the first time around. I've been a fan of Zaxby's for a while and decided to swing by for a snack despite the low reviews this location has been getting on Yelp. Overall the experience was better than what I was expecting from said reviews, but for a Zaxby's it probably ranks as the lowest experience for me because it just didn't live up to the Zaxby's standard. Regardless, we waited less than two minutes for our food in the drive thru after ordering and the food itself was still pretty good. I ordered a Kiddie Fingerz Meal and the box was filled to the top with large fries and two hefty chicken tenders. The fries were extremely salty; it wasn't the fry seasoning that made them that way, just an overabundance of extra salt. The chicken tenders themselves were more tender than what's normal for Zaxby's. They were by no means undercooked, but the breading wasn't as crisp or crunchy and the chicken was softer than what I'm used to from this chain. The seasoning was also off too, though I'm not sure exactly how to describe it. Again, it's different from what I'm used to from this chain. I think the only things that were just as tasty as other locations were the Lemonade, the prepackaged Zax Sauce, and the packaged Goldfish Giant Grahams that came with the Kiddie Fingerz Meal. Having been to five or six different locations in two different states, there's particular and consistent qualities, flavors, etc, that I've come to expect from Zaxby's that just weren't here with this one. I'm sad that this location will be some people's first visit to a Zaxby's as they won't be able to try the best of the best. Overall the experience was okay. People friendly, Restaraunt clean, prices fair, portions lack - we in Texas! I have traveled several chicken finger type restaurant. Can you get a little bit more and the crunch is by far more crunchy. Popeyes still tops it. Casual conversation with another first-timer said the same thing. Portions on the strips really small for what you were paying for. Love the fries just again small portions. I came during the later lunch hour and from the pictures you can tell what the clientele in this area think. It's a little tricky getting in but it's doable. They charge you $39 per sauce if you want to try any of them. You get one complimentary Zaxby's sauce which is okay. Marketing is interesting they advertise the giant quesadilla but no price. Let's live variety of drinks sweet tea and non-sweet tea are always a must. Not sure if I would ever come back because it is small and with options like canes Popeyes churches like a doodle give you much more for the same price. Sometimes you got to wait but when it's been you got to wait when it's not good easy access. Staffers only as good as management will let them be as far as food Portion and taste. read more

So let me preface by saying this is the first Zaxby's I've ever been to so I don't have anything to compare it to. So maybe the bad things are specific to this location. With that said, save your money and go to Cane's. I mean, that's essentially what this place is trying to be. Yeah they have more items and more sauces to choose from, but dang it didn't even taste good. The chicken tenders I had were old and dry, the fries were old as well and SUPER salty. Their sweet tea tasted like water and NONE of their sodas in the fountain worked. I let one of the workers know that the machine didn't work and she could've cared less. Luckily she did get me something to drink from the drive thru. So all in all, I would just steer clear of this place. It is relatively new so maybe it needs some time to work out the kinks, but I won't be coming back regardless. read more
