First time here!! I stopped in during lunch. It took about five minutes to order since there were a few people ahead of me. The associate was friendly, the menu was clear, and the store was clean with plenty of seating. After ordering, you're given a number and your food is delivered right to your table. Our food arrived in about 10 minutes. The burger tasted great, though I felt like it was missing something (maybe a sauce). This has to be one of the favorite fast food burger spots in the area. The service here is flawless. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They even gave us a free milkshake because we said we are so excited to be in Texas again. The staff goes above and beyond here! I decided to try Fatburger for the first time and they did not disappoint. This particular Fatburger was off of 281 N in San Antonio. This place is located in a small shopping village so there's plenty of parking. Food is cooked as you order, which can be customized from their various selections displayed at the counter including gluten free buns. Because the food is made when ordering there was a short wait for the food...but it was fresh and hot! The ambience was of burger joint/cafe feel and really clean. Amazing! We did not plan to come here today, but I'm so glad that we did! Burgers here are amazing! Good old-fashioned Smashburger with plenty of toppings. Not greasy but juicy and all the fixings were fresh. And detention to my vegan friends, this place, has it all! The impossible burger, oat, milk, milkshakes, coconut, whipped cream, unbelievable! Where was this place when I was eating vegan!? Everyone here is very very friendly and creature when you walk in the door. Newly opened Fatburger place. Had its grand opening and today, they had quite more people. Place has tall and normal high tables. Can accommodate large parties. I had the Western Bacon Burger with Fat fries. I love how everyone behind the counter repeats the order! The grill is open and you can see everything. Not a bad spot for a burger. The XXL burger is massive. Two people can split it. They got this challenge that if you eat a XXL burger then they take a picture of you and put it up on the wall to show everyone that you can eat the big one. Service was great! Employees were patient at is was our first time. We chose this place because of the advertisement of 4 burger melas for $40, however that deal is only after 5pm. We ended up ordering it anyways and they did not disappoint. We were able to customize each burger as well as having a choice of fat fries or this fries. Kid meals are available. They have fountain drinks and milkshakes. We tried the banana as well as the Chocolate milkshakes and they were delicious. This was my first time trying the franchise. This location has only been open for a few weeks. We immediately greeted as soon as soon as we crossed the threshold. The menu is straightforward and everything seems to be made to order. The restaurant was clean which is a good start. I ordered the large Fatburger with cheese and fries, my mom got the regular sized Fatburger with onion rings. I also ordered a strawberry and banana shake. The food came out nice and hot. It actually looked like the pictures. The onion rings are lightly salted but my mom ate all of them so that is a good sign. My shake was delicious, it is real ice cream. The burgers are tasty and they do not skimp on the toppings. Overall the food was good and I can see coming back for another burger. The price is still cheaper than Whataburger so win. read more

It was nice and clean inside. The music over the speakers wasn't loud and overwhelming. The burger comes neatly wrapped and placed in a open container. It's well seasoned and juicy. Very good. The service was good. I hope they last long. It's in a good and awkward location. It's by the freeway but if you blink while on the freeway, you'll miss it. I haven't had a Fatburger since I left Las Vegas a decade ago so I was really excited about having one again. I went during lunch and it was packed but the line moved quickly. The staff were friendly and my order came out pretty quickly. I did not think to check my order before I left to make sure I got everything, assuming they're new and surely they'll be on top of everything...nope I was missing a part of my order. The burger was delicious but the sauce overtook my bread and made it soggy and the relish was helping make that mushy mess worse. They season their burger with too much salt. There is nothing spectacular about the food ... you've eaten Sysco's many times as they supply restaurants with frozen just heat food. When I ordered they charged me a drink. Yes, I added it up and it still cost me more ($1.50) than what I asked for. Insult to injury was that you have to add tip before your meal. So basically I paid $4+ to eat a salty Sysco burger. Not good for $14. Place is clean (it's new) and this guy will come by and ask questions referring you boss. Do not use chief, boss, or some other term ... sir and mam work very well and are not disrespectful. Oh, they had rap music playing that was obnoxious and loud. read more

The menu did not provide enough info to make a decision for new customers and so this slowed down ordering because people had to ask questions about the choices. Service is poor and slow. Took 30 minutes to make two menu items. They have an sign with an excuse for the wait time saying nothing is pre-prepared and everything is cooked to order. The wait time is not worth it when you can go to a fast food joint and get better food faster. And for a place called "Fatburger" the portion size leaves a lot to be desired. My first time having a fat burger. I had the skinny burger with cheese...basically two patties as the buns and then what you want on the burger, onion rings and sweet tea. You order at the counter...customize what you want it, pay then go get your drink. They bring your order to you. Sweet tea was great. I had onion rings instead of fries. They were ok. A bit greasy. The burger...it was very filling. It is a smash burger. Lots of pepper on it but zero salt. It needed it to balance with the veggies. A chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Tasted different from a traditional chocolate chip cookie. Brown sugar? Molasses? I don't know but I liked it. The inside of the restaurant is good..uncluttered and lots of tvs on various channels.
