Texture was applied to both, matching the rest of the ceiling and wall. We were given the option of doing the painting ourselves, or they could come back and paint it. We chose the latter, so Chase came back a few days later (after everything had dried) and completed the job. No one could possibly tell there was repair work done in any of the places. They were on time (or a bit early) both times. They laid a paper runner to the area, preserving our carpeting (and wore booties at other times). Casey (the owner) was super responsive via text, and was a pleasure to work with. During their work, additional issues arose in areas they handled, and in my experience the amount they initially offered to contribute toward repairs did not come close to covering the actual cost. This led to a lengthy back-and-forth over several months, and in the end my insurance company--not Advanced Restoration--covered the repair expenses related to those issues. I also had several concerns about professionalism while the crew was in my home. Despite multiple requests, some workers did not consistently wear shoe covers. I also heard profanity used inside my home, which made me uncomfortable. On one occasion, I observed two workers smoking in my driveway. These were not behaviors I expected from a company working in a residential environment. Overall, based on my own experience, I personally would not use this company again. I hope they take steps to improve communication, professionalism, and care for clients' homes in the future.

At first, I thought it may have been from the original installation, but Pete came out and explained that the drawer had simply become too heavy and caused the glide to fail. Even though the bathroom was out of warranty, Pete still took the time to help us. He didn't have the part at the time, so I bought it thinking we could fix it ourselves -- we quickly realized we could not! I called Pete again, and he came right by and fixed it for us. When I tried to pay him, he refused. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. It really says a lot about a company that still takes the time to help their customers long after the job is done. We then meet Ryan Huckabay who was our site manger, he walked my wife and I through the entire rebuild process. He kept us up to date on every aspect of the job and stayed true to his deadlines he set. Due to the water damage, I had a mix of restoration companies and general contractors. The restoration companies were far out of our budget because they go through a very lengthy process to remediate any mold. What I appreciated about JRD construction is they were not only affordable in their estimate but fair, honest, and flexible. I had some reservations about not going with a restoration company but Voss and his team assured me that if they found mold or more extensive water damage they could take the necessary steps to remediate it. They even brought a hepa filtration system as I wanted to take precautions with possible mold as they removed drywall. They checked in with us along the way and assured us there was no visible mold. To be cautious once they completed the project they put some mold killer on the wood in our attic that would be very costly to remove. They did great work and matched our ceiling texture really close. They even took care to put up and take down a protection barrier daily as we needed to get into our bedroom which was blocked by the work. Many people told us no way the project would be complete by our 3 month target but we were able to move back home exactly when we planned to. The quality of the work was exceptional and Joe provided us suggestions and recommendations while respecting our unique sense of style. I.E.
