I truly don't understand why this owner is in the pizza business. We tried to bring a basketball party there this weekend. We were told no because it was during rush hour. We still decided to support the local business and purchased several pizzas but took the party else where. What's even more disappointing is the owner was not interested in our business, she made it very clear we were not welcome. When we picked up the pizzas there were maybe 4 people dining in. The bar was empty which we would have definitely racked up a nice tab there too. Employees would have been tipped well. We all decided We will spend our money at another local business. Located near the northeast corner of 196th St W and 44th Ave SW. Total disclaimer right out of the gate, the pizza looked so good I forgot to take a picture before it was all gone. In addition to the pizza looking good, it tasted great! I visited with a fairly large group that was looking for a place to just sit back, relax, and throw down a few beers. Turns out Zeeks Pizza was the perfect place for all of that! As the group entered, we were greeted with a warm welcome before being seated. Also as we were greeted, we were kindly informed that since our party was fairly large, the food may come out at slightly different times, rather than all at the same time. That wasn't a problem since we were in no rush to be anywhere else. The total atmosphere inside Zeeks Pizza is awesome. We sat at the only large table they had, which is a super long picnic type table, it worked out perfect for us. For food, the group ordered, you guessed it, pizzas! Each pizza had different toppings and tasted absolutely great. We also ordered salad, breadsticks, and yup, beer. They have an abundance of beers on draft so you'll definitely find something that fits your style. As for me, I stuck with the Chuckanut Brewery Kolsch. It was a great tasting Kolsch, well done. Do not order from this location as you'll be sorely disappointed. The pizza we ordered for pick up was mediocre. Lack of toppings, cheese and sauce. I even requested extra sauce on my order. Zeek's at MLT and Roosevelt locations are great. Fantastic customer service and great food. I ordered pizza from this Zeeks Pizza location for the first time. I ordered the Wood Butcher pizza, it was very good. The toppings on the pizza was abundant and very fresh, and the size of their large pizza is enormous. I had one issue with the pizza, one side of the pizza the dough and crust was much thicker than the other side, which made that side of the pizza have a lot more crust than toppings. This is our favorite pizza spot. We have been Zeeks customers since early 2000. We discovered their downtown location first when they were able to deliver to our construction job site. Now they are expanding new locations closer to home. All locations we have physically visited have Cozy dining areas. The parking at Phinney can be a little challenging and same with Green lake. Great cold micro beer including local breweries. Big tables for big pizza orders :) We always get large and take the leftovers home to eat for couple of days. Our favorites are the Dragon, puget pounder, buffalo soldier, and pep for the kiddos. Always made to perfection! If we are dining in we get an order of hot wings which are really tasty. Staff is friendly and right on top of it. We have visited many times, different locations. All have been great with no complaints. read more

A friend and I decided to drop in on a weekday evening to get pizza and drinks. The drinks were great - I had a Moscow mule and my friend got the blackberry margarita. We ordered the Thai One On pizza and as soon as we noticed that it was taking quite a while for the food to arrive, our server came and told us that they were remaking it because our first one got a little burnt. Appreciating their quality control, we patiently waited for the pizza, and boy was it worth the wait. The pizza was delicious! We aren't normally ones to make noises when eating but we just couldn't help ourselves. Every bite was filled with a perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors and the soft crunch of the crust paired with the stringy cheese and crunchy pickled veggies. Man, it was delicious. We knocked out the pizza faster than you could order another, and then we decided to go all in and get a cookie sundae to end the night, which was also fantastic - you can't go wrong with a warm skillet cookie topped with vanilla ice cream. There's a giant table in the center, and the night we were there a large group was having quite a party and a good time. There is only one server and oh my gosh was he hustling. Somehow even though he really was a blur, he made us feel very waited on and noticed. Pizza was outstanding, I loved the Kitcen Sink and really like the thicker, "mouth feel" of a real, less proccessed tasting pizza crust. After seeing the decent reviews on yelp, I wanted to give Zeek's a try. For the higher price and quality of the pizza, I was left feeling disappointed. The pizza itself looks better than it tastes. I ordered the medium Hawaiian pizza and it was ready to pick up in 15 minutes. At first impression, the pizza looked really appetizing. Upon the first bite, the dough was too chewy and hard to tear apart but the toppings were really soft and clumped together. The crust was also on the thin side so we wasn't completely full shared among two people. It ended up being around $25 for a medium pizza. I came here during lunch when it wasn't busy. We were immediately greeted and prompted to sit anywhere. With all the TVs and beer, this place can be an excellent place to watch games. My group ordered a Large Pepperoni and a Mini Dragon pizza. The pizza took about 25-30 minutes to come out. Our pizza tasted great; it had tasty tomato sauce and a good cheese pull, and was perfectly cooked. Service can be improved because they forgot one of our drinks. Atmosphere: Tv's we're on and music was playing, enjoyed the clean aspect of the restaurant and the restrooms were spotless. Now... The Food & Drinks: I was extremely disappointed in both. The 9" pizzas were $20 and weren't very impressive. The flavor was great, but all 3 of our mini pizzas were burnt to a crisp. Not to mention it took 45 minutes for our food (3 mini pizzas & a basket of wings) The wings took over an hour to be brought to our table, even with the waitress telling us it's coming out now. We luv their salads, interesting combos and plenty of heft to the portions and HUGE flavors. Pizza is quality toppings, sometime a tad muddled in too many flavors, but it's always solid. Opt for your favorites combos or be adventurous and try one of their own. Place is always clean, huge "picnic" table style table down the middle so plenty of space to spread out. There was an event going on around the corner and we just had enough time to have a quick drink in the lounge area here. The servers were very nice and we admired the pizzas coming out of the kitchen - the smell of fresh basil is so good!! Shortly after 8pm i placed an order for delivery (which I've done multiple times before and have confirmation emails). I get a call immediately after i had placed my order from the lady working and she told me she cancelled my order because they were slow and already closed the kitchen(1 hour early). I confirmed that they closed at 9pm and she said yes. So i said okay then you should be able to place my order since it's only 8pm. She then said no we can't because she doesn't want to reclean the kitchen because they already closed the kitchen. So I'm not getting my pizza that i was looking forward to because you don't want to do your job. She then said yeah exactly we'll issue you a refund though then hung up the phone. I called a different Zeeks and they were more then happy to take my money. I checked my email and didn't get any cancellation email so i called them back. Mary answered and i asked if she cancelled my order and refunded me she said no i placed your order and it'll be ready in 5-10 minutes. I'm confused at this point. Why would she place my order after telling me she cancelled it? I asked her this and asked her to cancel because we ordered from another Zeeks. And then asked for her managers name which after a few minutes of lying she told me it was Jillian(which i remember seeing her Post I'm this group) She then said I'm not dealing with this and then hung up the phone. At this point i was frustrated, called back 3 times. No answer. I didn't know if we should expect more pizza or not. If they were coming. What's going on with my order? I called this afternoon to confirm my refund and the owner Jillian answered. She's just as bad as her employees and now i see why this store sucks so bad. I started telling her about what happened, she immediately cut me off calling me a liar, and told me that Mary tried to work with and asked me to come pick up my pizza. saying that her employee Mary NEVER lies lmao and that i was cussing at her and calling her names. How the hell am I supposed to pick up an uncooked pizza when they immediately called me after i placed my order to tell me that they closed their kitchen because it was slow. This is so crazy. She shouldn't own any Business. It's sad because we love Zeeks Pizza and now we're going to have to not support any of the ones that Jillian owns because they're going to do something to our food. The only reason this one is a nice and full three star for me is because the ingredients tasted fresh. Outside of that, the food was average and the service was bad. We came in right before the dinner rush, so it wasn't busy inside. The location was easy to find and had free parking, but if you are going the wrong direction on 196th it is kind of hard to get to. We werent greeted right away and had to stand a while. The person who seated us was nice, but then it took a while to get service and after our order was taken and food delivered we were completely left alone to our own devices, forgotten and neglected. It took a while to get our check and leave. They brought us a box at the end, but just left it on the table. The whole service felt very required instead of fun and genuine. The menu was very short. Some drink options and then only pizza, and a short salad and breadstick menu. All of their pizzas are on the same type of crust. They do, however, have a full customizable pizza menu. The prices were in the upper price of average, but the ingredients on the pizza tasted good. The bread part of the pizza was also flavorful. The flavor combinations on a few I tried though were ok, some felt a bit lacking on a flavor profile. read more

Big disappointment, on 1/19/2024 we did a takeout pizza and sadly must say, Zeek's has earned the title of Lynwood's worst pizza in my book, pizza was dry, didn't see any sauce whatsoever on it, whole pizza had a very odd flavor to it, hardly no cheese, meat toppings were skimpy and cut razor thin not adding any flavor, crust had odd flavor also, very unsatisfied and feel ripped off, very poor value for the money! I like this place! A great portion and delicious tasting foods, unlike some places where the pizza is so moist and soggy bc they drench the dough with too much sauce! My husband and I came to this location of Zeek's for the first time, and it did not disappoint. Excellent service by our waiter who consistently checked on us, kept drinks filled, brought out our order quickly, boxed our leftovers and had a genuine smile the whole time. We love Zeek's pizza and we ordered two, knowing full well that just the two of us would not eat it all at the restaurant as we wanted leftovers for the next day or two. We shared a chop salad which has chicken, garbonzo beans, romaine, onion, tomato, mozzarella, croutons and a tangy balsamic dressing. Yummy as always. The pies we got this time around were the Tree Hugger (his) and The Kitchen Sink (mine). The chef did an amazing job with making these. The sink is a veg/meat combo of heaven with big chunks of mushroom, chicken, bacon, green pepper, tomato, more and more stuff. Sooo good. The hugger has artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, broccoli, lots of veggies. The cheese was oozing when getting slices off the pan, the crust was perfection - chewy, toasted just right. All the toppings were fresh and delicious. If you haven't had Zeek's before, note that the crust is quite thick and doughy - I'd recommend looking at the pictures. Not NY style and they don't offer thin crust, this pizza is meant to fill your belly in 1-2 slices, with super chewy, thick crust, loaded with toppings. Sometimes you have to use a fork to eat the 50% of the pizza that fell onto your plate. Zeek's offers a variety of pies for the meat lover, the vegetarian, the Thai lover. They use tomato sauce, alfredo sauce, peanut sauce (no not a typo), BBQ sauce, ranch dressing or just plain ol' olive oil. Good salads here too. I was the first one there, so I placed an order in for two large pizzas (Ultimate Pepperoni $24.20 and Puget Pounder $24.95) anticipating folks showing up. I did have an enjoyable Wild Greens Salad for me ($6.49 half order). Eventually family members appeared (good ol' traffic) and eventually additional pizza orders were added, a medium gluten free Organic Drift $23.45 and a large John Candy $24.95. Beverages beyond my ubiquitous ice water included two pitchers of Big E Root Beer ($12 each), pint of Modern Times Fruitlands $6, pint of Pfiem Pilsner $6, pint of Snowdrift Red Cider $9.50, two pints Stoup Hefeweizen $6 each, and a can of gluten free Ghostfish Grapefruit IPA $5.50. Yeah, total with tax and tip was under $232. But I didn't have to plan, cook, and do the dishes. Not every day someone turns 85! Everyone was well fed and had the opportunity to catch up.
