So Yelp has a generic comment when you hit 5 stars... "Amazing! What went well.? EVERYTHING. The food here was amazing. The service was amazing. The cleanliness is amazing. We got the lamb on everything and it is great. We had the rack of lamb, lamb curry, lamb rice... omg so good. This is our spot. One caveat, it is a tad pricey but this is justified. It's not a cheap take out place but some good food with no expense spared. Like it love it will be back

Had a great experience with absolutely delicious food served with great service at this restaurant. Highly recommend their mixed grill platter for tender and flavorful grilled selection of meats. The ambiance is upbeat and fun - the place was packed during a weekday dinner time. Highly recommend if you're looking for some solid North Indian/Nepalese fusion food!

Excellent food, excellent ambience & great service. Had the best tasting Indian and Nepali cuisine in San Diego. This is by far the best restaurant because of cleanliness, taste, atmosphere, friendly staff and the thought they have put in everything. Authentic taste. We went for lunch after wine tasting in the area. Best possible option. They have full bar with bar option as well. We need this in downtown San Diego as well. Definitely taking my friends & family. We will be going there regularly. Highly recommend for Indian & Nepali cuisine.

What an amazing experience from start to finish! The service was immediate, our appetizers came out incredibly fast, and every single dish exceeded our expectations. We ordered the cauliflower, vegetable samosas (so yummy!), chicken vindaloo, butter chicken, and the boneless tandoori--which was hands down our favorite. The butter chicken was perfectly balanced in flavor: rich, creamy, and incredibly delicious without being overly sweet. The naan deserves a special mention. We ordered both the garlic naan and butter naan, and the garlic naan was next level. At so many restaurants the garlic ends up burned, but Zen Curry absolutely nailed it. It was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and some of the best garlic naan we've had. We enjoyed a Taj Mahal beer and a mango margarita to round out the meal. Everything we ordered was fantastic, and the entire experience--from the food to the speed of service--made for a wonderful evening. Definitely great for dining with kiddos to as our son loved his food! Thank you, Zen Curry, for such a great time. We'll definitely be back!

WOW!!! Why have I never been here before!!?? First off our waiter Toya was great..It was my first time here and he helped to recommend some of the best chicken curry and other great tasting items..I've ever had! The lamb rice was delicious and the mango wings were very tasty! All in all if you haven't been here its a must try! Oh and how did i forget the Old Monk 10,0000 super beer he recommended!!!

Best Indian - Nepal cuisine in Temecula and surrounding areas! The food is rich, flavorful and fresh. The owner takes real pride in everything about this restaurant, including quality of food, decor, and the friendly service of all the staff. We usually order spinach paneer and chicken curry, which is excellent here. Recently we were introduced to their butter chicken, vegetable briyani, steamed dumplings, and mango lassi, which we had during our most recent dining experience here. And then there is their garlic naan. I highly recommend anything I listed here! Also the roasted cauliflower. I guess so far everything I have eaten here has been a sure thing. Just be careful when enjoying this rich food and don't over do it. Voted #22 out of 100 of top places to eat in 2026 for a reason! Support this local business!

Let me just say there is a reason why Zen Curry is ranked #22 on Yelp. Their food is delicious! We had the crispy cauliflower for our appetizer and it reminded me of a vegetarian version of kung pao. It was crispy and delicious. For our mains we had the tandoori chicken with roasted vegetables for an up charge of $8. We also had the coconut chicken curry and it came with jasmine rice. Both dishes were very flavorful. We ordered the garlic naan which was a great accompaniment to our meal The service provided by Issam was great and he suggested the roasted vegetables with the tandoori chicken which was a great suggestion. Katie who brought the dishes out to us was friendly and stated that she loves working there. The reason for the four stars is that the total bill was almost $100 for just the two of us and no drinks. This included a well deserved 20% tip. This is very pricey for two chicken dishes and a vegetable appetizer compared to other delicious Indian restaurants in the area. With that in mind we will be back but maybe on special occasions.

Truly blessed had the opportunity to come to this restaurant and enjoyed the wonderful meal, great experience, and heartfelt fellowship. Environment is very clean, classy. The food is flavorful and delicious. The staff and service is welcoming and engaging. And they also have a bar you can order crafted drinks. It's such a delight to experience the authentic food and atmosphere here. Definitely coming back to try more food here. By the way, the lamb chops is a MUST!

Zen Curry and Grill has the best salmon tandoori with mixed vegetables I have ever tasted. The customer service is always friendly and the food is cooked fresh, so it takes a little longer but it's worth the wait. They just got a full bar and are ready to make you some great signature cocktails! Visit them soon.

Just got home from a wonder nite. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We had relatives come in from out of town. The food was amazing, the owner made our relatives and us feel so welcome. Visited Zen Curry and Grill for the first time and we were very warmly welcomed by Pramod..The Pumpkin Soup was herbaceous and aromatic. My hubby had the Butter chicken and I had Chicken Chow Mein. We usually have dinner at Zen Curry Grill but hadn't left a review until now. Our waitress, Christina, was absolutely welcoming and attentive. The food was served hot and arrived quickly. My husband had the salmon grill, and I had the butter chicken curry--both were delicious! We also shared the tandoori chicken wings as an appetizer, and they were packed with flavor. We have quite possibly found the Best Indian cuisine in Temecula & beyond! The food was incredibly flavorful and delicious, the service was top-notch, and the ambiance was clean, comfortable and beautiful! Issam was so attentive and made our visit very memorable. He made excellent food & beverage suggestions, and he did not steer us wrong. We had the Crispy Roasted Gobi, a breaded cauliflower dish, and it was a delicious way to start our meal. It was Briana and my first time and Pradeep was immensely helpful and informative. Since we were both born in Singapore, we wanted everything spicy not spicy for grilled vegetables. We had 3 types of bread from roti, garlic naan & paratha. We had medium to spicy shrimp tikka masala to spicy chicken curry and spicy chicken momos as starters. First, if I could give more than 5 stars I could! My wife and I have been here numerous times and we are going back today. The food is always absolutely delicious! You can adjust the spice level to your taste by asking. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The crispy roasted cauliflour is amazingly delicious as is all of their dishes. The service has been excellent by all the servers and Promo, our recent server does a great job of answering questions about the dishes. Service is prompt. We were there for lunch earlier today, got seated outdoor in patio area. They have plenty of seating indoor as well as outdoor. This place is definitely a hidden gem in Temecula when it comes to Indian cuisine. I really liked how clean this place was. Food was absolutely delicious. Their Tofu Chilli is must try, Vegetable Chow Mein & Masala Fries (Peri Peri flavored) also delicious. Rasmalai is 10/10. Our server Leonell was amazing hosting us. He made us feel very welcoming and made sure our diet restrictions were met. We had privileged to speak to head chef Pramod, absolutely amazing chef. He made special curry from scratch because my wife is allergic to onion & garlic and I kid you not, it was just too good. To our surprise, owner came and chatted with us as well before we left. The whole lunch experience was exceeded our expectation. Excellent customer service. I'd highly recommend this place. read more

The bread had soaked up the blood from the tri-tip and was soggy gross. The kids quesadilla was literally 2 store bought tortillas and some sprinkled cheddar cheese that wasn't even melted in between. I didn't care for it, but I'm glad my son ate it. Overall, I had high expectations for this place and it was lacking.

I was just planning to grab a cinnamon roll, a loaf of their Cinnamon Burst Bread and a quick sandwich for the drive home. To my surprise, their house-made sandwiches are served on freshly baked bread, made with fresh ingredients, and cost under $10 (Panera could never!!!). Their baked goods were also reasonably priced with generous portions. We picked up the Cinnamon Burst Bread, a cinnamon roll, a honey bran muffin (which completely stole the show for me; it was incredibly moist and I'd come back just for that) and an almond poppy seed scone. The service here was just as impressive. Everyone was so friendly and personable and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed being there. I also loved their "Giving Rack," where anyone in need can take free baked goods. It's such a thoughtful idea and says a lot about the kind of business they are. This is easily one of my favorite bakery finds and it'll definitely be a regular stop whenever I'm back in the area.

From the moment we made the reservation, the staff was accommodating and gracious. We requested an earlier reservation time, and they made it happen without hesitation. When we arrived, we were blown away by the beautifully decorated table--complete with fresh flowers and congratulatory signs. A thoughtful and personal touch that set the tone for a memorable evening. The greeter and servers were warm, professional, and perfectly attentive without hovering. My wife and I are vegetarian and made a special request for a dish not listed on the menu. To our delight, the chef not only accepted the request but absolutely blew us away with the flavors and presentation. It was my wife's first time trying Nepalese food--and her first taste of Veg Momo. Let's just say: she's a fan for life now. The Momos were phenomenal, perfectly spiced, and paired with an unforgettable sauce. We also ordered the Saag Paneer and Yellow Dal--both packed with depth, warmth, and traditional flavor. I had the pleasure of dining at Zen Curry and Grill in Temecula with my son last Tuesday night, and it was an excellent experience! We started with the tandoori chicken appetizer, and while I still have fond memories of my favorite at the Hilton in Colombo, Sri Lanka, this dish definitely hit the spot and brought back those flavors, I added a little yoghurt to the dipping sauce which I think added that little bit of cool taste in the background with the tandoori flavors. The lamb momos were also very good--just make sure to enjoy them while they're hot and steaming for the best taste! We then tried the chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo, both of which were flavorful and satisfying. The garlic naan was a perfect complement to the curries, soft and full of flavor. However, the highlight for me was the butter chicken--it had just the right balance of spices and a creamy texture that made it stand out. They do offer a large amount of veg options which I will have to come back and try. The ambiance is great--clean, a bit upscale, and a comfortable place to sit and relax. Our server, Christina, was outstanding! She was attentive, had a fantastic personality, and her knowledge of the menu really enhanced our dining experience.
