I absolutely love having this bistro downstairs! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, the space is consistently clean, and the food is so good. Everything I've tried has been fresh and delicious, and the service is always great. It's such a convenient spot, but even if it wasn't right downstairs, I would still come here. Definitely recommend!

This is the sticker. I did purchase a sandwich from there.

They had all of their staff surround me while in my car, and taking videos of me with their phones. Scary as hell! The owner was waving her phone at me trying to block me from leaving. I was in my car, trying to leave and Tina was waiving her phone recording me aggressively. Unfortunately, she thinks this behavior is ok. This place is terrible. I paid $25 for a sandwich that not toasted even though that is what I asked for. I walked around to take a call, and they put a sticker on my car this is a sticker that you have to spend hours trying to peal off, and is illegal. I was away from my car for 15 minutes, it is not even legal. They had 5 spots open. And instead placed a sticker on my window that can't come off. Mafia behavior with health violations. Never again. Then the harassment while in my car, by 3 staff videoing me.

Zenti's Bistro is a 10/10. The City of San Leandro was pleased to have Zenti's cater our big Workday Ribbon Cutting event. They knocked it out the park. - Punctual -Great Communication -Food is delicious -Customer Service 100/100 -Professional 100/100 Thank you so much to Zenti for making the event as beautiful as it was.

Zenti Bistro is a hidden gem in San Leandro and it deserves to be unhidden! Tina, the co owner has been God sent to me. I was looking for a venue for my post wedding party, with ample parking and close to my friends. She put my vision into life! This place is very intimate, definitely made for 50 guests. Tina has been very responsive, kind and passionate about what she does. I love how she gives back to the community and making us feel like home. I definitely would book again for a future event. I cant thank you enough Tina for making this experience stress free and enjoyable! Thank you to Ernie and staff for the delicious food! Thank you to Dom for helping prepare the space for my guests. Please go check out Zenti Bistro!

    Screen shot of my groupon

I bought a Groupon for Zenti Bistro during the holidays last year. It was "breakfast, brunch, and lunch fare for parties of two or more" The groupon says expires 4/2/2025. I went on 3/26/25. When I arrived (myself and guest). This was where you order first and then sit down. I showed the front person my groupon voucher and was told it was not valid because it did not have a price listed. I even showed him how it was still being offered on the Groupon app. He then called the owner who claimed they did not know what Groupon voucher I was talking about because they never offered this on Groupon. I was given a lot of resistance and attitude from both the front person and the owner. I drove 20 minutes here and after some bickering the "solution" they offered to let me pick a sandwich and pay for the other one. I ended up eating elsewhere. I don't understand because there were reviews on the Groupon for this voucher and thus it was used before by others.

Zenti Bistro opened where Papaito Rotisserie once was. Some decor and furniture has been repurposed. Infrastructure similar. Regular hours weekdays only. Offerings ( Breakfast): bites, sandwiches, coffee, tea bar, burritos, egg scrambles... Sips: lg. coffee drip (3) unknown blend, didn't ask. -specially brewed in 10-15 minutes. Didn't want Americano. -generous 16 oz. pour. Hot, slightly harsh, medium roast characteristics, arabica beans? -service by single associate. Post noon. Patrons mostly coffee, drink fanciers. 3.5 stars maybe a bad day. Parking available on side of building.

They have a nice selection of hot sauces. This was my favorite.

I took my parents here for breakfast. We had such a lovely experience. Never knew it existed and it's so close to them! It's kind of hidden back from the street. We were greeted by the owner and she was so sweet with us while we got our orders in. The decor is really nice and the place is clean and inviting. There is not a lot on the menu, but enough to choose what you are in the mood for. She put on a fresh pot of coffee for us and it felt like we were VIP customers Prices are good, bathroom is clean. It checks all the boxes! I think like some places in the city it caters to the people who work in the surrounding offices so it is closed ( today is Saturday ) on off days. So check before you come. But come! The lunch menu looks tasty too.

Cute little spot in a convenient location. I ate their Chipotle Chicken Sandwich and it was fantastic, incredibly flavorful. I've also eaten their breakfast sandwich and it was delicious too. They take their time preparing the meals so it's not fast service, but completely worth the wait.

The most delicious, hearty breakfast cooked to perfection by the owners themselves! Ernie and Tina put love into crafting and serving their dishes. I indulged by pairing this Chorizo Scramble with a delicious cold brew, and I am feeling so much better after visiting. I got the tater tots with the extra avocado (extra $2) for a total of $13, which I think is very reasonably priced. Pros: - HUGE portions. Their burrito and their tots are huge - I ended up only eating half to 3 quarters of it for lunch and ate the leftovers later. - Very reasonably priced for the quantity you get in today's economy. It's rare to leave any restaurant for under $30 for 2 people, but we made that happen haha - The green sauce is very tasty - Avocado was fresh and great addition to the egg and tots - We didn't have any issues finding parking on a Sunday during lunch time - as long as you're okay taking a short walk - Pretty fast service, the food came out in less than 5 mins - Very casual burger joint, like the same level of casual as In-N-Out. Fun ambiance. Cons: - I think because of my age I really struggled with the greasiness of the tots. but I still ate them lol

The Neptune eggs benedict had plenty of shrimp/crab and avocado, and the eggs were soft, but it also kind of felt like overkill where there was too much. The hash browns could have been more crispy. My sons Strawberry Banana crepe was big yes, but the batter was cakey. It was doughy for a crepe. 3/5 Also didn't like that they put my cold Watermelon on top of my hot Hashbrown. The energy was incredible, and you could really feel how excited everyone was to be there cheering on the team. One thing I really liked was that instead of having one giant screen, they had multiple TVs throughout the bar, making it easy to catch the game no matter where you were sitting. There was also a DJ keeping the crowd energized, playing music and hyping everyone up during the match, which added so much to the atmosphere. The bar itself was really nice, and I was honestly pleasantly surprised by how great the overall vibe was. They have a taqueria inside and even though I didn't eat on this visit, the food I saw coming out to nearby tables looked delicious, and several dishes definitely caught my eye. I'll definitely be back to try the food for myself and will update my review afterward. A heads-up that the parking lot is a little small, but there is plenty of street parking nearby, so it wasn't a problem. The space itself isn't huge, but that's part of what made the atmosphere feel lively, energetic, and welcoming. We saw a street parking as soon as we turn, and just parked even though it was 1000 ft away. The drink/cocktail list is vast, but we are not much of a cocktail drinker and not usually drink during lunch, but I saw Matcha Sharka being ordered a lot and the other seemingly popular drink was this lavender drink. If you are a cocktail drinker during lunch, do check them out. We ordered 4 shareable items: * Savoy Donuts - 5 stars - fluffy and yummy, not greasy at all * Focaccia w/ Meyer Lemon and Garlic Confit - 4.5 stars - wonderful texture, did not taste the garlic much but the lemon was really good add. * Grilled Beef and Pork Chipolata - 4 stars - I think the star was the dressing. The meat itself was just okay. * Rice Vermicelli Bowl - 4.5 stars - not sure why it is called a bowl when it was served more in a plate. This is the fusion take on the Vietnamese dish with different dressing. We selected the Galangal Pork, which I did not like as much compared to the usual Vietnamese ones with Lemon Grass. There is a choice to select Lemongrass chicken instead, so you might want to try that. The pork tasted "porky" despite it was thinly cut. I was hoping to try dessert, but we were full so we did not do that. Next time. The restaurant is nicely set, and you can select indoor or outdoor seating. We did make a reservation, but when we arrived there were plenty of tables available. Service was fine, we did not get the "is this your first time" greeting as I heard other tables got.
