Do not use Zerorez Austin Carpet Cleaning .My apologies viewers, for the late updated post after several attempts to resolve a complaint that was made within 30 days of receipt. Due to no avail after speaking with Michael a few weeks ago. Michael has repeatedly stated they are not responsible for the water damage caused to my bedroom chest (made from particle board). Which clearly shows water damage. Michael said the chest had to have been dropped to cause the damage. From the moment at scheduling, to the day of service, to billing, it was all very easy with friendly customer service. However, the cleaning itself was not satisfactory. Even though the tech stayed longer than planned, the grout did not clean and look like the pictures in their infomercial. At the time of cleaning, I've lived in my newly built home for 8months. The young man who came out was very friendly, courteous and, most importantly, thorough. My honest opinion hoping to save someone else from spending lots $$$$. Setting up appointment was easy. Technician arrived on time then it all went downhill from there. Technician cleaned grout on natural stone floors, carpets upstairs and 5 area rugs. I've had my home professionally cleaned by another company about a year prior was very happy with them but thought I'd give this company a try. I know what clean grout looks like. Everything was still wet when the technician left so it was hard to say whether or not it was cleaned. After it dried I noticed pet stains (urine) didn't come out on carpet, the grout looked the exact same, and unfortunately the area rugs still had an odor. The owner/manager offered to come back after he explained the technician should of used a different tool to clean the grout. We set up another appointment time. When he arrived with another technician to redo the work he also noticed the area rugs odor after I pointed it out to him. He offered to take them to the shop and have them deep cleaned something very different then having them cleaned in your home. Supposedly, it removes odors and stains much better but it also costs a lot more! I went ahead with his offer and paid the extra $ to have the area rugs cleaned. Meanwhile, he gave me excuse after excuse why the grout wasn't getting cleaned. It was my natural stone floors however the other company had no issues cleaning them, hmm. Fast forward, my grout and carpet never got clean like it did with the previous company, and my area rugs were delivered about 2-3 weeks later with the same odor. Guys did a decent job but left me with a few issues to clean up. They cracked and chipped a kitchen tile without mentioning it. Also, after cleaning the tile left quite a lot of damp residue on laminate wood flooring next to tile floor. All in all tile grout cleaning and carpet cleaning came out pretty nice. read more

I hired Zerorez to clean my tile floors, grout and my hardwoods. Evidently they are not equipped to clean hard surfaced floors, only carpet. I was told they were capable to clean both with great results and they even sent me some pictures of previous work. I was impressed. However, after they came to my home, I was extremely disappointed. There was a lot of residue left behind on my tile and hardwoods. The grout did not get clean. The hardwood floors looked like they had not even been cleaned. The gentleman that came to clean, did not even move the furniture...he cleaned the floors around my furniture and rugs and for what I was expecting and what was done was completely the opposite and very costly. He sat on his phone texting quite a bit while his machine just sat and ran. I had to hire another company to come and clean my floors and what a difference between the two! I have spoken to Brad at the company with not much resolve. He wanted to come see the floors to see what they looked like, but this was AFTER I already had them cleaned by the other floor cleaning company. Brad then asked me to send pictures of my floors, which I did. I sent pictures to him of their cleaning and pictures after the other company cleaned them. HUGE difference. The manger, "Brad" became very defensive with me and a little aggressive. Again, they offered to come and clean my floors but they were already cleaned by another company...not sure what the point of that would be. I asked for a refund and all they would offer is another cleaning. Finally, after several conversations, Brad offered me a full refund in writing, if I would send him a copy of my invoice from the other company. I did send a copy of the invoice to him and there has been no response at all. His assistant, Danielle called me shortly after I spoke to Brad, and told me they would issue either a partial refund without a copy of the invoice or a full FULL refund as soon as I sent them a copy of the invoice. Again, a copy of the invoice I paid in full was sent and still no response from either of them or anyone else in the company. Not a good experience and will not hire again. I would be careful if you are wanting hard surfaced floors cleaned. Definitely not their expertise and very over priced. I paid for over 800 sq ft of my floors to be cleaned. In reality that is not correct, because once again, the cleaner only cleaned around my furniture and rugs. It has been over two weeks since the cleaning and I still do not have any resolve. Poor customer service. Let me add, I was told by Brad and Danielle that Brad would come to my home and both times they said he was coming, he never showed and no phone call. This proves to me they are undeniably not wanting to make things right. There is so much more for me to share. I will just leave it with BEWARE before hiring ZEROREZ. read more

Javier and Billy were awesome. We lived in our rental for a little over 3 years and had the carpets done once. We called Zerorez this time as well we're moving out to a new home. We paid extra to get the "pet treatment" and it was mind blowing on how clean the carpets came clean. I told Javier that I had bad allergies and was always having breathing issues in the bedroom. My lovely cats had been urinating in one corner of my living room for some time with no help of the at home treatments I decided to call Zerorez to give them a shot. The technician who came to my house, Justin, was very informative and knowledgeable. He explained to me what he was doing every step of the way. Justin was very thorough in the corner that I had issues with he spent over an hour cleaning just the one room in my house I like that they were not a quick in-and-out service like a lot of other carpet cleaners I've used in the past. Honestly, I can't ever say that I've been so excited to write a service review as I am right now. Josh and Seth provided friendly concierge level service at a great price point that made me want to shout from the rooftops...about carpet cleaning. Upon their arrival, I could tell that Josh and Seth were professionals that took their job seriously. Zerorez cleaned my four rooms quickly and, most importantly, effectively. I had a couple of stains they were able to remove and my carpet looked great. They brought a very worn area rug back to life and removed the pet odor. Seth also gave me a very reasonable price to clean and protect an armchair that had been put through the ringer by my 3-year-old. The only constructive feedback I have is with their customer service team in Dallas. I initiated my service request online and it took several days for anyone to call me. My phone interaction with the scheduler didn't feel very professional which made me a little leery of the service I was about to receive; however, all trepidation was gone as soon as they stepped foot in my house. I have used Zerorez before and was completely satisfied but this time I am very disappointed in their customer service. I have a roomba that vacuums 3 times a week and I have never had an issue with it on any rug or carpeted surface in my house. I had to get my dining rug cleaned and after a month it was returned and looked good from what I could see as far as the stains. I didn't think to check for snags. See picture. This is in a zero traffic area of the rug nothing slides over it ever and though it was vacuumed successfully day day once I received it back from Zerorez this is what happened. They refused to consider any possibility that they could have created the snag that caused this. I wasn't asking to replace my rug but possibly refund the cleaning fee since I will have to replace the rug. I was told to call the Roomba company. Our appointment was scheduled for 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM and the technician arrived at 9:30. He was courteous and attentive. The technician quickly set to work, addressing issues of pet stains and over all deep soiled carpet. What I thought was inexpensive, builder grade carpet, turned out to be a high quality carpet and the technician was able to restore the carpet to its former luster.
